It is just a coincidence - 😊
While I am so much into this YMMKD Show now and loving it so much for its uniqueness of treatment given to the same old story ...

I am also reading this Autobiography of Dileep Kumar - Substance and Shadow

Dileep Kumar (Yusuf Khan) was 44 when he married Saira Banu who was 22 then. Their love story still going strong . There is a complete chapter devoted in this book on their love story and his proposal..

Indeed they were much alike in many ways where our Mukhi and Aru are poles apart yet made for each other.
😳

Just a thought on Monday Morning ... felt like posting

Yes, you very correctly pointed this out...the age difference between Dilip Kumar & Saira Banu was exactly the same as shown in this show...one was 44...the other was 22. Even though, it sounds a bit difficult...but the truth is that I find Dilip-Saira ji's jodi to be one of the best...in terms of dedication, devotion and the kind of lives that the movie-stars have. I just find them adorable and so perfect for each other...glad you brought this up here.😊

It reminds me of a beautiful song...
Na umr ki seema ho
Na janm ka ho bandhan
Jab pyaar kare koi
To dekhe keval mann
Nayi reet chalaakar tum
Yeh reet amar kar do

Honton se chhoo lo tum
Mera geet amar kar do
Ban jaao meet mere
Meri preet amar kar do

They are so made for each other, who would have thought they had a gap of 20 years!!
Thanks for sharing.
