When Rami meets Jail Jeeju, she says how she thought she managed to get rid of a problem (Dharmi) and managed to get into a bigger one (Aru aka Dharmavidya). :-D

I liked the dialogue she used "Main to laathi se billi bhaga rahi thi lekin ye lomdi aa gayi" (I was trying to shoo away a cat with a stick and meanwhile (taking advantage of my preoccupied state) a fox entered the house).

I love these dialogues with a regional flavours. :-D

this serial has some wonderful dialogues..

I also love Mukhi's witty worldly-wise dialogues..

and Aru's sharp-tongued shooters...

I think we shud make a compilation of such dialogues on a separate thread and everyone can contribute to it..

Related to this thrs one more idiom in Gujarati for such situations when doing one thing inadvertently leads to a greater loss..

bakri kadhta unt pethu..

"while shooing away goat, the camel got in..."

the other dialogues that I loved...

Mukhi: "fal mein keeda jadoon ki wajah se nahi lagta"

Mukhi: "keeda khane wali chidiya ko to chawal ke dher mein bhi bas ghun (rice bugs) dikhayi deti hai.."

Some hilarious dialogues of Aru:

Aru: Han han.. aap to mahaan mukhi hai, ek ungli se govardhan parvat utha sakte hai na..

when Mukhi was leaning on Aru: ye dukhi mukhi to sukha bhukha mukhi ban gaya hai..

Oh Yes, I LOVE his quips. He may not be educated a lot but he is worldly wise. And his wisdom reflects in the things he says.
