Akash back in Ye Meri Life Hai

After a break of almost three months, Ajay Arya, who played Pooja's best friend in Sony's Ye Meri Life Hai, is back on the show. Arya was missing from the track as he had decided to take a break from the show and concentrate on other work.

Says Arya, "What excited me to come back to the show was the new track. Akash has had a complete attitude makeover — even his behaviour has changed.

Initially, he was shown to be extremely bubbly, helpful and kind. Now, his experiences have hardened him and made him aggressive."

Tonight's episode of Ye Meri Life Hai will show Akash back from his stint at an advertising firm.

"This time around, Akash won't take crap from anyone. He's definitely keen on getting his work done, by hook or by crook.

At times, he is even arrogant. His focus on his career makes him stern and cold-hearted," says Arya, who is planning to don a new, mature look to go with the changed Akash.

During his break from the serial, Arya was busy doing other episodic shows. He was seen in Rihhaee (Sony), Hello Dollie (Star Plus) and Hotel Kingston (Star One).

Ask him if Akash will still sport his trademark smile, and he says, "His smile will be more mischievous now.

Those who expect the same Akash will be in for a huge surprise." The actor feels he's come full circle with Ye Meri Life Hai. "I started my television career with this show. Now it feels like a homecoming."

Akash, evil 😭 That's not fair. I really admired his character! Maybe this is why Reema was so rude to Pooja or something. idk.
I have no clue what the makers of YMLH are thinking. THEY MADE A PROTAGONIST AND ANTAGONIST! now im sure they went phsyco. Before we know it, Annie and Kushan will come back as portagonists.😕

WHOA~ so Akash is coming back to YMLH? And he's going to be evil or something? WHAAAA???? 😆lol.... WHY? o_O? Well I'm kinda curious to see what he will bring to the show ... err... I can never picture Akash arrogant, agressive or evil~ to say the least! 😵 Okay there has to be some story behind all of this to make him turn suddenly evil or better yet come back to the show. I don't see how this all would fit in with the story right now.

Let's remember that he did love Pooja but sacrificed his love for Ronit's sake...maybe that has made him bitter. The article does not say he's going to turn evil...just cold-hearted like everyone else in the show. Pooja, Ronit, Reema have all changed...I guess its Akash's turn now. Too bad cause he was the only sensible character left in the show. Akash will probably marry Reema. Won't Maya just be thrilled... one big happy family.

i agree with sonynyu...the article does not say he's evil...just tht he has become stone hearted..but thts natural for someone who's love isnt a rosy bed....

but i dnt like him to be evil..maybe selfish will do.
