Ronit attends the reception with Pooja standing beside

Ronit and Pooja both are thinking about each other and their relationship. Ronit is thinking how would it be possible for him to forget her and continue with Poornima. Pooja at the same time is thinking that Ronit should be taking care of Poornima - and his name is associated with her sister now. Ronit still believes and thinks that it is impossible for him to stop loving Pooja. He calls up and asks Pooja to meet him. Pooja denies saying that now the name of their relationship is different and she cannot meet him alone. Ronit insists, but Pooja refuses. Sudhaben is talking to someone over the phone. Later, she tells Pooja that Rasikbhai is not able to arrange for the money for which he has gone to Baroda. The money which they have taken for Poornima's marriage is due but none of the relatives are ready to give any money. Sudhaben asks Pooja if she is going to the reception - Rasikbhai is not in town and Sudhaben is not feeling well - Pooja doesn't want to go but Sudhaben asks her to go for a while. Maya does what she is waiting to do - She calls up Pooja and tells her that Ronit is refusing to come to the reception. She hasn't told Poornima about it since she will feel bad about it. She tells Pooja that she knows that only she can get Ronit back in and asks her to do that. Wah, Mayaji aapney ekdum khatarnak dimag paya hai.

Pooja calls Ronit and tells him that she would want to meet him now. They both meet where Ronit again tells her that it is not possible for him to forget her and he still loves her. Pooja tells him that they both have to go somewhere - when Ronit asks her, she says that where Ronit is needed the most. She takes (?) her Ronit to the reception. Ronit tells her that she is
not being fair - She tells that she might not be, but he has to attend the reception for his parents sake, for her sisters sake. Pooja should not have said this - but she used this - Kehti hai 'Pyaar kartey ho na mujhey, Ronit' then please go - Ronitji pighal jaata hai aur kehta hai ki I'll come with you, on a condition. He will stay on the stage as long as Pooja is standing besides him. The moment she gets down, he will follow her no matter what the world thinks about it. At the reception everyone is eagerly waiting for Ronit including Mandy and Reema. Ronit and Pooja arrive together. Both of them walk on the stage - Maya is happy that Ronit has come. She tells Pooja that there is so much strength in her love that she was able to do what his mother could not. Maya and Inder announce everyone about Ronit and Poornima and gives them a gift - A Mercedes.

The best, or rather worst part comes now. Ronit is standing besides Pooja which is almost like 5-7 feet away from Poornima. The guests line up and come on the stage. Everyone gives flowers to Ronit and Poornima - the scene is looking so bad - but then who cares. I'm really surprised that YMLH can be like this. Mandy realises this and goes to Pooja and asks her why is she standing so close to Ronit? It seems she is the bride and not Poornima. She asks Poornima to stand away. At the same time, Maya tells her to go down. Pooja says she is fine here - she knows the condition what Ronit has set - Maya tells her that she is telling her to go down because of the cheap dress she is wearing. Poornima's wedding dress is of five lac rupees and Pooja's 500 Rs. Maya then welcomes some of her friends on the stage. Some of them comment badly about Pooja which forces her to get down. To everyone's shock, Ronit gets down and follows her. Wooooofff. Mandy, Reema and Poornima all are shocked. And you gotta see the expression on Maya's face -

Well, you don't necessarily have to watch today's episode. I have already done the hard work of watching it. :) And I'm not going to proof read the update. Today, read, listen to R D Burman or Jagjit Singh or just spend time with your family. You'll be glad. I hope after today's episode, Poornima will get to know how much Ronit loves Pooja - infact it should be obvious to almost everyone. BTW, noticed two things today - at the start when they show Ronit besides the sea, he is talking to himself - the voice which I heard didn't sound like Ronit. The same happens with Reema's voice when she is sitting on the reception stage and answers when Mandy asks her something. If you observe this, let me know. What next? Hope Sony comes up with a drastic change in the next week. Hope. Wish. Believe. Trust. Sony - you gotta do it. For me. For us. For everyone. What say, friends?

Pooja meets Ronit and then shout for him

Ronit runs after Pooja and they both talk - R: I cannot forget you and you are the one who is always in front of my eyes. P: Ronit, please understand - Pooja has her eyes closed and Ronit touches her face with his hands - R: I remember everything - woh aankhon ke isarey, woh meri masti karna, woh sab ke samney dance karna and more - I want that back - Pooji seems she is surrendering and will hug Ronit any moment - Inder is wild with Maya saying what a flop game plan she had - Maya comes in looking for Ronit and sees him with Pooja - Asks him what he is doing - Ronit tells her that unless Pooja stands with him, he won't - by the time they finish talking, Pooja is gone.

Poornima tells Ronit that she is aware that some people at the reception ridiculed Pooja and she ran away. But, Ronit running after her - she did not understand that - Poornima adds that mummy (Maya) is worried about what has happened - Ronit ignores that and moves away - At home, Pooja is thinking - talking in front of the mirror where she sees herself answering herself - Thinks that cannot forget Ronit but has to - she has to realise that - thinks that will have to talk to Ronit - meanwhile Ronit calls her again and tells her sorry for what happened at the reception - R: I wanted to hear your voice, but now I'll never call you - Pooja is almost speechless - has tears and is choking - could not say a thing.

Sudhaben tells Pooja that she knows what has happened at the reception - Poornima had called her and informed what some people told her - Pooja realises that she needs to talk to Ronit - calls him up and asks him to meet - Ronit agrees - Maya meanwhile is not able to figure out why Ronit is behaving like this - but thinks she has Poornima in her hand and will make that middle class girl to lose her sanskar with the sound of her money.

Pooja meets Ronit and asks her for something - P: kuch mangogi toh dogey - R:Tumhey vishwas nahin hai - P: Humharey beech mein jo tha, jo hai woh sab kuch aaj se, aabhi se khatm karna hoga - Ronit is sad , but eventually agrees after some talking - He says he'll probably not see her anymore - and Pooja hears sound of a car screeching - turns back to see something and shouts for Ronit - Start guessing.

Kya hua? Kya hoga? Kya Ronit ka accident ho gaya? Will he survive? Is this a plot to change him as the rumours say? Are you sure this will happen? Nirav, if this happens - I'm not going to watch (me too) - Nirav, do you think Ronit is dead? Well, I too have the same questions - let's discuss what can happen - Prizes for guessing the correct one. :)

Nirav mentioned in last Thursday's update to listen to some R.D.
Burman or Jagjit Singh. Nirav, I took your advice and did just that
after tonight's episode. Either that or laughter therapy. Let's all
pretend this show is a comedy- ye meri life ki comedy hai- haha,
hehe. Okay, enough of my nonsense, here is the update- mind-blowing,
superb, excellent, wonderful episode! So fairy-tale like!

Once upon a time, we heard Pooja shriek at seeing Ronit being hit by
a car. She continues her shrieking and crying at the hospital where
Ronit (bechare) is admitted. As is typical in most serials and
movies, the nurse comes- madam, fill out the forms. Pooja- you
heartless, immortal beings, you are asking me, **the** Pooja Metha
(was to be Mrs. Gujral) to fill out a form- Not by the hairs of my
chinny chin chin' Pooja goes and complains to the doctor who finally
decides to admit and treat Ronit, no questions asked. Of course, of
Ronit paji is saved. And now for the finale, the last dance: Pooja
comes in and sees her dear Ronit lying on the hospital bed,
unconscious. She takes his hand, the gentle touch awakens
our 'sleeping beauty'. He sees his 'snow white' crying and starts
sharing the wealth of the tears. Pooja blames herself for the
accident and his condition. Ronit however says that 'he has already
given his life to Pooja and she may do as she pleases' (which she
has) Umm...I forgot what else they said, but basically Ronit
promises Pooja that he'll take care of Poornima forever and give her
everything she deserves from her husband, except of course love-
'hum dil de chuke sanam' Pooja slowly moves her hand away from his,
looks at him for the last time, cries (of course) and our lovers
part (forever?)

Akash calls up Mandy. He is concerned about Pooja because she is
isn't home- Mandy looked like she was camping out near the
telephone. Nothing interesting here excepts Akash's concern for
Pooja.

Maya Gujral aka 'flop queen' comes to her dear bahu's room-
'Poornima darling, I have organized a grand ball (kitty party) for
you' Poornima is a little taken aback. Maya hands her over a saree
and some jewelry to wear at the party. Maya thinks on how she will
teach Poornima a lesson. At the party, our princess comes down the
stairs and everyone is impressed with her new 'look' courtesy her
saas. Poornima is thronged by the ladies who give her presents. Maya
slyly smiles (god knows why) After the party, Poornima thinks on how
she misunderstood Maya mummyji and thinks that no saas does this for
bahu nowadays.

And now for the best scene of the entire show- Mirchi meets Flop
Queen. Mirchi enters the Gujral palace and is impressed with the
huge house. Maya asks her who she is (whose you?) and Mirchi
introduces herself as the buaji of Pooja and Poornima. However, Maya
is impressed with the tacky buaji. Mirchi meets Poornima and sees
the jewerly and presents in her room (Poornima ki kismat) Mirchi
asks Poornima to bring her some snacks and drinks since this is the
first time she is at her new house- Poornima agrees. Maya interrupts
and says that there are servants for that. Mirchi however advises
Maya to let Poornima do some work around the house and else her
habits will worsen. Maya agrees. Mirchi tells Maya that she'll teach
her a few tricks of her own- Maya is finally impressed (nothing like
manipulation to do the trick) and invites Mirchi to keep visiting.
So the evil-wicked saas-mother teams up with the equally evil wicked
Mirchi buaji- great!

And now for the scene in which %$!&*&&. Okay, Pooja is crying in her
room over finally parting with Ronit. KS, Akash, Mandy come to see
her. They ask her what's wrong- Pooja tells the story about Ronit's
accident, that she and Ronit have parted forever. Pooja says she
feels like going to some far away land (never-never land maybe)
Akash says that is not the way to solve a problem- you shouldn't run
away from a problem. KS and Mandy are worried about Ronit and I
think they fo to see him at the hospital. And oh no, yes, no, yes
this leaves Akash and Pooja alone (#$%*#) Akash consoles Pooja
(ugh) and tells her that she shouldn't run away. Instead, he advises
she start a new life, with a new purpose and with someone who can
understand her and her dard (come on man, give her some time) He
says since the beginning of college he has loved her (liar liar liar-
I could see his nose grow like pinocchio's) Akash proposes to
Pooja and asks her to marry him (where's the necklace man) Pooja
looks like someone back lashed her fifty times and the episode ends
on her shocked face. And they lived miserably after all.😕

Comments: Most are already in the update- I'm sorry, I couldn't help
it. There was no way I could have written this update in a simple,
objective matter. Too bad Akash- looks like your proposal will not
work. Mid-day.com has already taken you out of the contention list
for Pooja's romantic list- better luck next time. How Akash be such
a hypocrite- he himself ran away from Reema, left her stranded,
depressed and now he advises Pooja to solve her problems? Why
doesn't anyone smile in this show anymore- does it really take that
many muscles, seriously! Well, I look forward to your comments and
criticisms.

Mehta House in trouble - Pooja comes to know the truth - Rahil makes an entry

Lots of things happened today - an attempt to fast pace things.

Ronit comes to know the truth. He thinks that he might have not taken such a step had he known before that Reema was the one who had hit Milind accidentally. He wants to meet Pooja immediately - goes to her house at 2:00 am and asks her to come out. Ronit tells everything to Pooja and says that he would want her back now - Pooja says it is not possible now. Their relationship have changed. She reminds her that he is now the husband of Poornima. She asks him to take care of Reema at the moment. Ronit comes back home and meets his parents. He tells them about Reema and blames them for not taking care of their children. He says that he too shares the blame for not knowing what was happening in Reema's life. Maya and Inder are shocked. Actually, Maya seems to be more shocked and Inder has really got no expressions on his face. I thought he was a good actor. Maya asks about the health of Reema now and Ronit says she is much better than earlier.

A phone rings at Mehta House and Sudhaben picks it up. Rasikbhai is at the other end and asks her that money lenders might come to their place for the money he has borrowed - Sudhaben is worried that Pooja will come to know what has happened - She keeps the phone on the side to avoid calls. Some time later, they come to their house. Sudhaben is worried - Pooja opens the door and they come inside. They ask for money which Rasikbhai has borrowed from them - Sudhaben tells her that Rasikbhai is out of town for the same reason and they will give back as soon as they arrange something. They tell her that they do not understand why they have to borrow such a huge amount when they are not capable of paying it back - what is the use of making a daughter study in such a college and allow her to do a film course - why did he have such a lavish (?) wedding of Poornima - Pooja tells them to keep in control of what are they speaking. She tells them that they will return the couple of lac of rupees what Rasikbhai must have been borrowed. The lenders tell her that the sum is not small and is 15 lac rupees. Pooja is shocked. The lenders give them a time of a month and warns them that if they do not get back their money, aapka ghar aur dukaan hum nilaam karva denge.

Maya is shown with Mirchi. Mirchi is admiring the bracelet Maya is wearing and wonders how much worth it would be. Maya tells her that it must be something like 12-15 lac rupees. I don't think so. Anyways, she tells Mirchi that she can keep it for herself if she likes it. Mirchi tries to take it when Maya tells her that she would have to do something for her to which Mirchi replies that she will start her work right away. Don't know why this scene was shown but maybe they would want us to be prepared for something.

At Mehta house, Pooja asks Sudhaben why she was not informed about this. She tells her not to worry since Rasikbhai is not alone now - even she will help her family. Now, the director is trying to get back Pooja's focus - she thinks that she is standing on crossroad and has to decide what she has to do next. Her farz or her dreams. She has to take a strong decision soon which will help her family. Meanwhile, the new guy enters - Rahil Aza - shown practising sort-of martial arts with a sad background score. He is shown wearing a suit, playing with his dogs and then taking them for a walk where a group of reporters are waiting for him. Meanwhile, Pooja asks god to help her and show her a way - She says after a real long time 'God ghuma do apna magic wand aur kar do mere problems ka end' . The reporters are asking him questions - Rahil is shown wearing sunglasses and smiling to them - voices say that he is back in town and ask him what kind of business is he planning to do now since he is back in the city. The camera zooms on his face where he smiles - looked strictly ok in this shot.

It was very clear that the producers/director have understood what wrong were they doing - maybe they are reading this site. :) Today's episode seemed to be a patch up of 3-5 episodes they must have planned to shown - and maybe they compressed it into one today. Check out for yourself - must have done to speed up things. Rahil has entered - Pooja comes to know that Milind was hit by Reema - Ronit cannot get Pooja now - Reems is improving - Mirchi is still there - Mehta house in trouble. Rahil wants to invest in Indian Film Industry

Pooja works in a call centre - Ashmit sees Pooja in a park

Sudhaben allows Pooja to go for work - even in the night shift, ignoring what Jayshree Bua has to say. Pooja goes to work in the night shift - Let me tell you this - Before anyone can start their job in a call centre - voice calls - they are trained. Apni Pooji yeh kaunsey Indian call centre mein job karney aayi hai jahaan she starts working on the first day. Anyways, she starts taking support calls for clients. At Gujral House, Mirchi informs Maya about the status of Mehta house and Maya responds saying that Pooja is working in night shifts to earn money - how sad. Maya then asks Mirchi whether she like jewellery very much - Mirchi agrees and Maya removes her necklace and gives it to her - Ronit hears this and feels bad that Pooja did not even bother to inform him about the problem Mehta house is facing and about the job as well.

Ronit goes to meet Pooja at the call centre - The guard does not allow him to go inside - but Pooja notices him and goes to talk - Pooja tells him to go away immediately as no personal visits can be made at her office - Ronit tells her that why didn't she consider him as ghar ka aadmi and he should have been informed. Pooja requests him to leave - Ronit says that the talk has not ended - Pooja's employer sees this and calls her in his cabin. He reminds Pooja of the rules and tells her that no personal visits are allowed and she has broken the rule and she can be removed from her job. Pooja pleads and says that this will not happen again - Boss gives her the first and the last chance and warns that no more excuses will be allowed later. Pooja finishes her work - it is very late in the night and she does not have money to travel by taxi or rickshaw and so she decides to spend some time and the moment the BEST (remember, the wonderful public transport Mumbai has) buses will start early in the morning, she will go home. She goes out in a park and sits on a bench. Wahaan par usey neend aa jaati hai. Check this out - even when she sits on the bench and later sleeps on that - the sun seems shining bright.

Rahilji comes for morning jog. He sees Pooja on the bench - seems she is shivering a bit - he removes his jacket and spreads it on Pooja - Pooja as if she is at her home says 'Mummy, chai do na.' Rahil tells a tea vendor to give Pooja a special tea the moment she gets up. Pooja wakes up to see she is at the park and a jacket on her - the tea guy gives her the tea and when asked by Pooja if he knows whose jacket is this, he says that there is a guy who comes here for jogging everyday. Pooja goes back to her house where Ronit is waiting - He apologises for his behaviour yesterday night - Pooja does the same as well saying that she told him a lot as well - Ronit tells Sudhaben that he is willing to pay their entire debt and then they can repay him - Pooja does not agree and says that she would want to solve this in her way.

The next day at the office, she asks the employer for the appointment letter saying that she wanted that to take a loan from the bank. The employer agrees to give her soon and says she can get it collected by evening. When Pooja goes to take that, the receptionist tells her that the boss hasn't signed it and he has left for the day - she tells Pooja that if it is very urgent, she can call him at his house - Pooja knows the number by heart (?) and she calls him at his residence - Boss asks her to come over and get his sign or wait till tomorrow - sounds something fishy here - if Pooja goes to his house at night - well, let's not come to conclusions at the moment. In the next scene, she is shown travelling in a rickshaw to the park - she waits for Rahil to give him the jacket back - not that she knows it is of Rahil - eventually she gives it to the chaiwalla and asks him to give it back to the owner - Rahil is arriving at the part just then - in the same frames Ronit is shown with Pooja's photographs spread out and they fly away from him - does that indicate Pooja is going away from him and closer to Rahil? - Rahil and Pooja could not meet and they cross each other - episode khatm hua.

What next? Ashmit meeting Pooja in the next week? How? Pooja's current employer trying to give some trouble to her - or she leaving the job - and then this guy meeting her - Dekhte hai kaise milan dikhaney ka plan kiya hai - Ronit is still the favourite as is seen my the messages - Poornima is not being shown for last 2-3 episodes - wonder where is she? The attention is shifted on Ashmit - we all know Pooja will get a break in his production house - it's just a matter of time - for us to see. I'll want to send some questions to Akash, who it seems has been visiting this website. More details in my next post. Till then, let me know your views.

Pooja gets the job as an assistant director

Pooja is surprised to see Ashmit and tells him that she didn't know that he owns this company. Ashmit tells her that he wanted to give her a pleasant surprise. He tells her that Pooja is hired and will be working as an assistant director in his company. She will be working with Shalini, the creative director of the company. Ashmit asks her to report the next day and tells her to address him as Ashmit and not sir - well, he adds that everyone in the company calls him by his name. Pooja leaves happily. The next day, she is getting ready to go to the office. A great day for Pooja is about to begin. She goes to the temple to thank god. She remembers that she and Ronit had decided that if either of them get a good job of their choice related to films, they both would come together and light a diya for the god. Unfortunately, Ronit is not to be with her now. She lights the diya and sees another hand coming close - it's Ronit. Ronit tells her that even if she wouldn't tell him, he would know. Ronit wishes her all the best for her new job.

Pooja goes to the office and talks to the receptionist. She tells her that they are more into documentaries and short films to start with - there's another guy who comes in there talking constantly on his cell phone. She asks Pooja who she was - the receptionist, Ria tells him about Pooja. Rocky, the guy tells her that she should be model - there's lot of fame and money and she looks beautiful as well. Ashmit comes in and hears this - tells Rocky not to scare her and takes her to Shalini. Rocky makes a face when he comes to know that Pooja is being taken to Shalini.

Ashmit introduces Pooja to Shalini. Shalini seems to be more kadak than Ashmit - seems as if she runs the company or maybe she is a perfectionist. Hey, I remember - I think she is the same female who appeared in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin as an external auditor who were to rate Gulmohur - though I'm not very sure. Do not hit me if I'm wrong. :) The kind of character she is playing her - she might have to act something similar with what she did in Jassi. Pooja addresses her as Shalini when asked about what kind of course has she done. Shalini tells Pooja to address her as Ma'm and says that real life is very different from the course and she will have to be on her toes all the time. Ashmit likes perfectionist and active people - She says.

Pooja and Ria sit down for lunch where another guy comes in - Sam, I think. Ria introduces him to Pooja and he asks for party - says everyone who is new is supposed to give a treat - Pooja says she hasn't got that much food - Sam says they can order it from outside - He asks for menu, but note this, the food comes in immediately without even ordering - bad editing, maybe. Domino's pizzas have arrived and the bill is more than 500 Rupees. Pooja has only 200 bucks - luckily for her, Sam gives the money and tells that they pay the money for the treat a newcomer is supposed to give. Maybe, he came to know Pooja didn't have that kind of money.

Shalini calls Pooja and gives her a CD of an English romantic film whose rights Ashmit is planning to take and make it in Hindi. She asks Pooja to see the film and prepare a story brief of about two pages by evening. Pooja sees the film excitedly and writes the brief into some 6-8 odd pages. She goes to Shalini and hands over to her - Shalini asks her that what has she done - She had asked for a two page brief and Pooja is giving almost 8 pages - Pooja says that she thought it would be good if it was detailed - Next, Shalini tells her that why was it in Hindi and handwritten - Pooja tells her that she thinks in Hindi and so is more comfortable writing it in Hindi and since her typing speed is not so fast on the computer, she wrote it as the brief was required by evening. Shalini is annoyed and tears all the pages and throws in the dust-bin. She tells Pooja that she is not suitable for such a job and she will talk to Ashmit the next day that Pooja be removed or shifted. Pooji is shocked. Aur aaj ka episode Khatm.

Yes, Ronit was again showed for less than a minute today - Kya karey? The whole attention is on Pooja and Ashmit at the moment and I do not see that changing very soon. I guess they would now show about Pooja struggling at the job and how she overcomes the difficulty in real life and eventually achieve what she wants. It will be difficult but we know Pooja will make it. The question is Ronit - what will he do now? Won't the producers give him something good to prove his acting skills and add the x-factor in the serial - Hope they do - dekhtey hai. Aagey dekhtey hai Pooja kaise musibatein ka saamna karti hai apney work place par aur kaise apney khwab poora karti hai. Your comments please.
