"Maine pucha aap aise Kyun Chali aayin?" Aman said, in a louder tone. He was getting restless with Roshni's silence. She wasn't someone to be silent, at all, and if she is, there is some serious going on in her head. "Main aapko jawaab dene ki pabaand nahi hoon." Roshni said while looking elsewhere. (Churaofied the dialogue from my favourite YKS, don't come on me please. š³) Aman neared her and looked in her eyes. "Main aapka Shauhar hoon." He said gaining her look. She looked into his eyes, those same brown eyes she found cute once but maybe, not anymore. "Yeah, Shauhar, Sahi kaha. Ek mahine ke liye Shauhar. Sorry, mujhe aapne bataya nahi na ki aap Shauhar hain mere. In fact, aapne toh kuch nahi bataya mujhe. I didn't know, Khaandaani log itne jhoothe hote hain. Aap koi nahi hain mere. Allah knows best, mere saamnein aaj ke Baad ye sab faltu ki harkatein mat kijiyega." Roshni said sarcastically and distanced herself from him. The things in air fell on the kitchen top. The door came back to its position and Roshni left from there leaving Aman speechless. For once, he couldn't retort her. He felt guilty. He knew he didn't mean any of those things he said to his Mom but, but he said mean things, things she didn't deserved to be said. He wished he could take those words back, but maybe, it's too late already, very late already!
