(At the office)
"Yes, yes, you heard it absolutely right!! You're Akshay's secretary!", Manjari exclaims. The bespectacled innocent Sam she's speaking to looks dreamy and dazzled, innocent to the fact that he's being conned. "If you don't like the title 'secretary', then you can call yourself an executive assistant!", Manjari lets out a small giggle which goes unnoticed by him.
"WOW..." lets out Sam, trembling in excitement, his googly eyes widening at the prospect.
Manjari enquires further whether he's ready for the job and he immediately agrees. She presses on gleefully asking him if he's happy.
"Happy, Manjari? I've NEVER been this happy ever in my life!", he grabs Manjari's hands in his in gratitude and asks her how he can thank her. "By giving you roses? Or chocolates?". At this point, Manjari starts panicking. She removes her hands and offers the hankie she takes out of his shirt's pocket, assuring him that she already got his thanks.
All the while she looks at him, bewildered, as he wipes off his tears but she makes it clear that there's a condition connected to the job offer . Sam gets confused at this and wants to know what it is. "Look, your job is to report to Akshay. But along with that, you have to keep telling me whatever he's upto."
Akshay's new 'executive assistant' feels offended as he thinks that Manjari doesn't have faith in his work. Manjari is quick in letting him know that she's not only talking about work but stories related to things other than work. She looks behind her back lest someone is listening on them before she says, "News like the girls that keep coming and going from Akshay's office, the time he spends with them, everything."
Sam doesn't understand Manjari's ulterior motives here and beams at her, asserting that he will be efficient at his work. Manjari then gives him his 1st assignment: Till she comes back, Raashi & GC should not be let into Akshay's office. At this, flicking out his imaginary gun, he tells her not to worry and that he will do all his work well just like seven zero zero.
She is just about to leave when he expresses his curiosity over Manjari's leaving at such a critical time to which she says, "Just like how you have become 7-0-0 from a geek, I need to get transformed as well, right? So, I'm going to go change myself. You see, sometimes you have to bring a little change if you want to get noticed by people. Okay? So, you carry on. 7-0-0." With this, she leaves in a huff and 7-0-0 remains, confident, with his 'Mission Possible: Raashi & GC out'.
(Later)
Raashi is in a hurry to get to Akshay's office but 7-0-0 has made himself a human barrier between the door and her. She is confused as to why she can't enter and 7-0-0 dramatically tells her that these are the orders from above. Just then, GC comes along wanting to enter the cabin as well. They both stand at the door angry for being refused and are even more raged when a guy comes and he's let into the office to meet Akshay. 7-0-0 explains that since it was a guy (atleast, he seemed like one from his looks and clothes even if there was 1% chance of him being a female), he was led in. The women try to reason out with him, but he doesn't budge.
Akshay comes out of the office and he is angry with all the commotion. Confused with the 7-0-0 talks, he asks Sam since when he changed from an IT engineer to a doorman. Sam is indignant explaining that he was made Akshay's executive assistant by orders from above! Akshay spits out that whatever the case, he will be above Sam so to come out with it. A sheepish Sam finally admits that it was Manjari. At this, GC feels betrayed, Raashi is just plain angry.
The conversation is cut off as Manjari gracefully walks into the office wearing a white dress the colour of pure frost having silver & gold-speckled borders, a pretty smile on her face. She looks down shyly as Akshay gazes at her, momentarily mesmerised. Even Sam is amazed at her beauty. But Akshay is only frozen for a couple of seconds. His brows knit together, ready for a confrontation unbeknownst to her as she revels in the moment.
So, your eyes finally fell on me, Akshay. Now I'm never going to let your gaze roam elsewhere.
Manjari is in her happy thoughts when Akshay hobbles over to her wearing a deceivingly polite and interested smile.
"Did you have something important to say? Otherwise, I'm a little busy", Manjari chirps cheekily looking away.
With a soft tone, he replies, "Yes... I have something very important to talk to you about..."---
Manjari looks at him hopefully---
"WHEN WILL YOU STOP POKING YOUR NOSE IN MY BUSINESS?"
Manjari is annoyed with this and they have a heated exchange. He lets her know that he has found out about the secretary appointment she made without asking his opinion or approval.
She asks him whether this was all he wanted to speak with her about.
"What else is there to speak on? Look, I know that Ranbir gave you the responsibility of appointing my secretary but that doesn't mean that you go over my head with it. The final decision will still be mine. And don't forget the fact that you're not my boss, I'm your boss. So, you have to do every single thing after getting my permission." Akshay is just about to leave ending his rant but he sees Raashi and gives Manjari some more scolding while she looks like a child being chided. "Oh, and one last thing. Raashi can come and go from my cabin as she likes, whenever she wants. No one will question her or stop her. Is that clear?"
Manjari is frustrated that he can only see that she went over and does not see anything between the head and feet. Akshay wonders what else he should see.
What is there to see?? I came here all decked out standing in front of you that if anyone else saw, they would keep staring. But you can't see anything. She thinks as she glares at him.
She asks him whether he can properly see or that he came to office wearing the specs with low power. Akshay, amused, takes off his glasses and sarcastically tells her that they are indeed the right ones. Manjari, still frustrated, ask him whether dust got on his lenses and attempts to clean them when Akshay cuts her off with a "No need, thank you. I can see everything very clearly. And I can also see that people are wasting a lot of time here." He then disperses the crowd overlooking their argument and is about to leave after giving Manjari one last glare when she stops him.
She says that Anushka is alone at the house and it's their responsibility to make Kabir and Anushka meet. Akshay doesn't want to hear from her anymore and vehemently tells her that he knows what he should do and not do for his friends, so no need for a reminder.
You don't even remember that I was something else this morning. You're completely changed now. Hmph.
Manjari stomps off with this thought and Akshay smiles to himself in secret.
(At Anushka's house)
The streets outside the house are busy with honking vehicles racing past each other. Anushka sits on her bed staring at the ceiling forlonly. Manjari comes and shares the joyous news of getting promoted at the office; Anushka is optimistic about her baby, that it will bring happiness to her life. She talks about her future plans regarding the baby and a silence falls between the two when she mentions Kabir's name unintentionally. She sadly muses that if Kabir had been there, how wonderful it would have been. She breaks down wondering why he left and how she will manage everything.
Anushka then gets a call from a number she can't identify. She realises that it's Kabir and says his name. He speaks, regret in his voice. They both tell each how much they miss each other. Kabir has something important to discuss with her so he tells her that he will come at 8 o'clock. When the call ends, Manjari shows her concern and wants to be there along with Akshay when Kabir comes. Anushka agrees to this.
(At a club)
Loud music is playing in the background while a man, Tushaar Khurana, talks about meeting an old friend of his so all the drinks for everyone is on him.
Drinking at the bar is Ranbir who questions Tushaar over who his friend is. He says that it's him, that it's Ranbir. The men show their hostility towards each other especially after Tushaar lets him know that he's there to buy Ranbir's company. Ranbir has no intention of letting him do so as his family of employees are more important to him than money & he remains firm even after being offered a huge amount. Tushaar laughs at his ideals but leaves his card with Ranbir nevertheless. He says to himself that he gets whatever he wants.
(Back at Anushka's house)
An anticipating Manjari and Anushka are joined by Akshay who apologises for being late. It's 8.30 and they all notice the time. Akshay is still very angry at Kabir and wants to have his two words with him.
Manjari tries to calm him down but it only ignites his fire. He expresses passionately that he hates people who turn away from their love.
"Akshay, people make mistakes. & they should be given the chance to make things better." Manjari tries to make him understand. But Akshay believes that a person who makes one mistake can make it again, so he will not have faith in such a person. Manjari then asks, "If there is no trust, then what's the use of love?" Silence falls between them with these words.
Just when Anushka tells them to give it a rest, they hear a knocking. Akshay goes to open the door where Kabir is standing. He says hello to Akshay who turns his face away in disgust.
Kabir enters the house and immediately shares a warm embrace with Anushka as Manjari and Akshay look on. He gives a heartfelt apology, "I know that I hurt you a lot. And the rest of you too. I did very wrong by running away. Anushka, I should have faced every hurdle with you."
Akshay doesn't believe him and tells Anushka to ask him whether is saying everything meaning it or making up stories. Everyone is shocked with this outburst but Kabir, without losing his determination, admits that he stayed outside the door contemplating on what to say, thinking about whether he would be forgiven or not. Manjari is more willing to extend a helping hand, and tells him with a smile to forget everything that happened and to move on.
Anushka on the other hand also forgives him immediately, her eyes looking at him with love. He is grateful to her, confessing to finding out how much he missed her after going away. They hug once more, happy to be in each other's presence again.
In his arms, Anushka whispers that she too cannot live without him. And he tells her that there's one more thing he has to say.
"I don't want this baby".

My notes:
This was a GREAT episode. 10/10. Even if you feel like just reading the update, I urge you to go and watch it. Especially the Akshay-Manjari scene and the Kabir-Anushka scene. For the people who like humour, catch up on the first scene as well. I found it to be hilarious. Sam and 7-0-0. ROFL. So, he's the opposite of James Bond, 0-0-7 eh? Good for him!😆
Again, this post is very lengthy, even more so than the last time. In fact, this time I admit that its height is possibly longer than a 10 storey building. My apologies. =/ I seriously couldn't help it. My English teachers from some time back will vouch for me here and tell you that I was the same back then as well. If it's any consolation, my summary is VERY short. ^^''
I didn't bold the club scene because nothing much happened except the introduction of Tushaar. Just 2 tigers circling around each other, ready to mark their territory. Tushaar is definitely the villain to look out for btw. He's not going to be as stupid as Mallika, that much I'm sure.
Loved the ending of the episode. Of course, it makes me hate Kabir but it was a fitting climax to a great episode as well! & the precap... oh my god... it's nail-bitingly scary!!!
