No one can protect Naina 24/7 and expecting that is stupid. She needs to stand up for her self. No family is perfect which ever family Naina gets married into she needs to be able to stand up for herself. But if we are here to compare Sameers and Sharads then yes Vishaka may have been rude but she is nothing like Sharads mother. That woman would have physically hurt Naina and Sharad would have stood there watching if not participate in it himself. Mami might be rude also but no even she isn't that bad. Sharad and his family weren't demanding dowry but they were plotting to get it after marriage over and over and how do you think they would have done that. Beating her up torturing her so her uncle pays to save his daughter. So Naina is in way better situation with Sameers family. Naina and sameer are the biggest support for each other.
