As far as I can remember during 90s love marriage was never accepted so easily. That's why EK became so popular with her saas-bahu serials. Saases got ideas and bahus got ideas from those serials . E ven Shash-Sumeet jee bhi made those serials I guess from their real lives. So I will watch this real drama...keya keya hua tha.

There is no comparison between Sameer and Sharad. This is the difference between love marriage and arranged marriage. Sharad is the xerox copy of his family. Sameer is a fighter. He is the owner of his Nanu's business. I am not understanding why he needs permisson from mama/mami/Somani or Vishaka. Told them "I am getting married."...that's it. He or Naina doesn't have to feed on their roti. Naina will be the queen of that house as she is the wife of the owner of that house Sameer. Who cares about their acceptance. It is Naina who will accept them.

So true, I agree with you that sameer has mended his relation with his mom and also somani bcoz of naina. Naina definitely wants to win vishaka over with her good nature. But if vishaka won't give them chance to live happily and starts creating problems to them then sameer is going to revolt against them.
