Samaina are adults
Both are in love so it's consensual move
It's not been 24 hours since they are missing
Maheshwari's have much bigger contacts and approach than Agarwals 😊

And he must be aware that forcing someone to do something against their will is duress and thus a criminal offense. He should thus be afraid that he, his wife and brother could be charged with forcing Naina to marry against her will.😊

In India..If children do something without consent of elders in family, its considered offensive move by moral police of society.
Though I do not support eloping as a righteous choice but if its the only way to be safe then there is no harm in it.And as many have pointed out they both are consenting adults,so no problem with legal affairs.

IMO, they should not have eloped, they should have talked to the families, eloping is very 70's and 80's. It is 1994 right ? So DDLJ is yet to be released. They could have shown Naina's story as an inspiration for DDLJ.
I think they might kill off male lead actor in the end.

Eloping seems to be lovers solution in every age. Today too lovers elope when parents or family don't agree. Why kill off the male lead?

I don't think they elope much now.
This is Naina's story. Sameer is a part of that story. There is too much feel good element in the story. In the end Sameer might die.

This is Naina Aggarwal's story, all other characters come and go as a part of her story.
Serial begins with her narration, she is talking about herself, her success and her life. In the first episode itself it becomes clear this is Naina's story. Sameer Maheshwari might be a big part of her life but that does not make it his story.
Well, they run the ticker that this is a completely fictional story, so I don't know about it being a true story.
