I know many of us are a lil lost at the change in core attributes of Sameer and Naina. We are not able to connect with them. I was thinking why?? And in a real world would it be the same? Actually to some extant I feel it might be the same, reason being that these two are in a transition stage of their life. They are not teenagers nor they can be called as matured adults. They are somewhere in between. While we are in that stage , we make many mistakes as we are very confused of what is been taught to us vs what we learnt and understood from education vs what we want in life. That's what Sameer and Naina is experiencing. They both come from very different cultural background , hence have different understanding about certain aspects of life. Since they are educated they know those orthodox approach in life is not really right or good but somehow they are scared to break free from that. They also have their dreams of togetherness. Now how do they achieve it ??!!

Here I did like to quote a quote By Franz on Metamorphosis. He wrote in his book "I cannot make you understand. I cannot make anyone understand what is happening inside me. I cannot even explain it to myself"

I think we needn't feel bad about their behavioral changes, lets see how their experiences in life changes them to what they should be as adults . They will have their set of road blocks , they will have their set of mistakes and they will have their set of victories and failures based on the decision they take in their life. But eventually they will learn to survive and be successful. So, these ups and downs will help them to be strong and powerful individuals.

All I can say just watch and see how people change and handle challenges. Some learn to adapt , some learn to tolerate and some fight it to live it the way they want . It will be interesting to see and understand to which of these groups would Naina and Sameer belong?? Will they fight it to live a life of their choice or would they succumb?? Only time can tell...rather CVs can tell
😉

What I am trying to say is don't hate any character or try to justify too...just watch and understand , how childhood upbringing vs education vs personal dreams changes people in the transition stage of their life.

Beautiful analysis. Very true. We all go through this metamorphosis. Now I'm 40-year-old... Looking back to my youth stage i can relate to the characters of the show.

Very well said.
Not only kids or teenagers even adults tend to make mistakes. But what is important is how you are handling those mistakes, what you are learning from them and whether you are repeating them even after knowing it's results. Wise people will take good essence from both pleasant and unpleasant incidents that happened in their life and use it in their later life accordingly.
Let's see how Sameer and Naina are using the lessons that they learnt from these kind of incidents in their future life.

Its so true Ashu...Our lifecycle goes under a lot of changes, patterns physically , mentally..emotionally...These r all part of growing up...Wen thy were kids in schools, thy had a carefree life...All issues were minimal nthey were only protected ..shielded from outside world...But as stepping into college ...they got to see n experience life outside their boundaries...n when right now they are maturing as adults with their relationship solid ground...They would be a quest to survive from all the corners keeping intact their relationship...Its like u dont xpect 16 yr old Sam or Naina to come back now...Thy are progressing...n evolving with the change in their mindset , perspectives...They are growing into imperfect yet perfect adults...tats wat we all humans are!! Situations/Incidents changes us..n we act acvordingly...n so y would they as fictional characters shouldnt be spared n judged heavily...

Awesome post WRTW. Loved the points raised by you and it's true.Looking back we think how we could have behaved differently at that stage and many mistakes are realised later, this is transition period.
That said, with this are we not giving too much liberty to CVs to do anything and everything, to do various trials on characters? Age factor is easy escape for them, ain't it? Hope you understand what I mean here.

True, now when we look back there are time when we think we could have done better or could have ignored somethings...its easy to say that now...was it the same while we were facing tht situation...I don't think so...but eventually we all have grown as individuals with our own set of learning.

Exactly !! these kids , are learning and they are bound to make mistakes...its like this , we all learnt to walk only after we fell multiple times...good things gives us something beautiful to hold on to during tough times and bad things give us great lessons.

Wonderful Analysis 👏 . Everybody experiences changes and it is a part of how we evolve. Isn't it a part of learning from our past experiences and mistakes. And biggest change comes in life after the teenage years.
Haven't we heard of very naughty teenagers growing into matured adults .
We should wait to see how Naina and Sameer's characters evolve facing all these hardships.

Absolutely Meher...that's the main reason I made this post because I felt people were either trying to justify Naina/Sameer or were completely going against them. I really want to see how CVs are going to show this transitional phase as its the most difficult think to translate on to the screen. Because they will have to break the image that they have built in so many months..and change into something bigger and better that will be liked by their viewers and this cant be done with out bringing a major conflict.

And the scary part is , this conflict wont be easy to view as it might be a lil painful for us.

Yes that is the creative liberty that the CVs have and that's exactly why I said "CVs can tell us"...I just responded to Meher's comment stating it will be interesting how they bring this change on to the screen and that it wouldn't be easy for us as the major conflict will have some painful or sad tracks...and since its a show it can get a lil illogical too.

So best to watch and just see how they try and get it on screen rather than being very emotional about it...as it can only add to our stress...the story line that they have planned will not change...hopefully will have some learning factor too from people and behavior point of view.
