Hi Suman, not taking side but i feel this forum is extremely biased, and always give negative reactions about Naina more than sameer. Lets use the logic we are seeing the characters of 1990 and not 2018. Today we girls are rebellious and know about our rights. But those time was different. Cant we just understand that how thinking in those times used to be. I didnt find Naina at all selfish. If knowing she would have said to sameer that dont take my name,,, than the situation would have been different. She was only sharing her fears with him. Not once she reacted telling sameer that why did you take my name. She was worried about her relationship only.

Agree...If I remember right she kept on saying ab hum kya karenge sameer instead of main kya karoongi.. it shows she was talking abt them more than herself

I am happy to see that girls here are supporting naina too.
Koi Naina ki zindagi 90s mein jee kar dekhe. Phir naina ko samjhega.
1990s and 2018 scenario for girls is different.

True... Naina felt a little selfish and too doomed in own misery.I know Sam was joking but I expected her to ask what about him and how would his family members like Maama Maami would react to this revelation.Shetalked about her miseries but should have asked about his miseries too.Whatever happened it was by both of them and with both if them in consent. So I expected her to be less guilty and show her concern of her to him.

Strictly my POV based on the conversation that took place.
I am not against Naina or anything.I am for them as a couple.

Ya this is what I am trying to express ya. You have nailed it. I am with both of them want them to be together get married, have kids and grow old . I am not biased here. The entire phone call between them gave me that wrong vibes. I am also a girl from 90's and understand what girls had to face.

Here I was all the while dreaming about our Samaina's hug and kiss and kept seeing the scenes on the loop in tv, insta, twitter and here and I come and get to see this 😆

I so love Ashi to the core and love Naina like anything..a little more than Sameer but yes I felt the CVs showed Naina a bit selfish in yesterday's episode. I mean agreed both love each other and can't live without one another but here Sameer was in big mess already and all she thought of was her family...ok instant reaction would be about herself and her family and it's repercussions but why didn't she think about Sameer even once. All I wanted to hear was Sameer tum theekh tho ho na...jo bhi hoga hum saath milke iska hal doodenge ...bass itna khafi tha.

Glad you opened this topic and don't get why some are getting agitated and personal all the topicmaker wanted to say was that simple.

This is only my POV and I love our Naina and I love our Sameer...I love Ashi and I love Randeep and love our show. Let us wait and watch...am sure today's episode Naina will stand up for Sameer and CVs are very good at playing see saw with us...at one point we feel for Naina...other point feel for Sameer..just love it.

@ Latas: I so agree with you
One additional dialogue would have done it

Jo bhi ho, S should not feel that V was correct about her and blurt it out
Let them both be together and come out of this final exams mess

Naina's family and Sameer's family are vastly different... So is their conditioning.
Remember the 'police station drama'?
Sameer was mildly scolded and then readily forgiven. Then Entire thing was brushed off with parathe for Raja beta just like that.. Now Imagine the same scenario with Aggarwals.. Naina would be taken out from college and shipped off to her sasural with the any tom dick n harry faster then sameer was forgiven by his Mama-Mami.
Naina's reaction was Very justified and clearly NOT selfish at all. She stands a lot more to lose then Sameer. Atleast she understood Sameer's action and didnt blasted him off in return, which would have been really really wrong if she had done it. She was not just scared for her, she was scares for them ,she was scared to lose chacha ji's trust consequently leading to losing sameer.. How does it makes her selfish?

Girls today as well can't just leave their families for love. They don't just loose respect in the eyes of society or family for choosing love above them , but they also loose their sense of worth in our society because our society, especially society as it was a decade earlier as well; measures the honor and deserving respect of a girl by what her family and people around her think of. Naina can end up giving her life to Sameer in name of their love except it wouldn't do anything helpful. Sameer's privileged position in society allows him to deal with incidents as such with much more lenient consequences. Sameer can loose a whole year, except next time someone finds out why he lost that year, people would excuse it by saying he's a boy, the girl probably lured him, or him getting appreciated by his peers if not his close friends for getting that advantage. I think that even though Sameer's insecurity in these situations have increased in regards with their compatibility, these are also moments where he has take into account what a girl like Naina represents and what he is willingly choosing. I think blaming naina isn't wholly correct either. The root of Sameer's insecurity isn;t Naina. Whenever Naina could've been there for him, she tried her level best to communicate with him but his problems are rooted more with the abandonment of his own mother, him not getting any acceptance by a family that her mother adopted, and him loosing his grandfather so early when he was the only person who accepted him. Naina's relationship with him isn't that of a caretaker like all those other relationships were. While Sameer isn't naina's caretaker either, he has the privilege to use his designated position by society to help Naina. Naina however can't help Sameer or make things better. She can simly help him develop a new identity from those wounds. I hope I make some sort of sense.
In conclusion lol, i think this whole giving up your life and taking blame for each other equally is a grey area because of the consequences differing for both of them.

My thoughts exactly and you have depicted them so well. I don't think I could have explained it better myself.

Hi frnds I'm silent reader of this forum.
Never thought I would post or create any account here
As none posted what I was observing in latest episodes. Finally thought of sharing this

I am not taking side of any character but will state what I felt. Trust has been completely lost from both sides of Sameer and naina

Sam reaction for naina hugging karthik was really bad n he clearly stated he can't see her doing such things for sake of acting also but least he bothered what naina has gone through Even after getting a hug n kiss Sameer seems still not convinced that naina loves him as d way he does n that's why he was testing her badly. When he heard naina was crying out of badly then he stopped testing her or stopped putting her in pressure. No doubt he would sign papers easily but he wanted to know naina's reaction about him.

Chachaji accepted Samaina relationship even after knowing truth that she hid for 3 long years n he always made her feel free to share things but still she feels if she crosses his haad he may not support her love. Yesterday her reaction was natural. Just because someboy loved naina in clg what taiji tauji n rakesh has done to her. They bought sharad alliance n almost spoiled her life. Any girl in her situation would react same specially after past experience

But I seriously didn't get d fact that how naina believed Sam words that he told naina name to princi specially when he said his life starts with her n ends with her

Both don't trust each other as life partners.May be they'll take more time

I just don't get the fact why people like u drag Ashi in this mess whereas post title clearly suggests discussion is about Naina the character we see daily on TV. So plz keep aside the fact that we hate ashi or something... We all love her the same way u do. Secondly coming to Naina.. .We do have our opinions that yes she was being selfish in yesterdays episode the whole world could see that... Mere tauji mere papa meri taiji mere chachaji unki hadd kya hoga mera ghr se nikal denge etc etc... Did she just once asked him what about u... Are u OK, what happened when your mama mami came to know about the incident but no shes still stuck with main aur meri dunya ...and yes we sympathize with Sam proudly, he never had second thoughts about his decision, he happily sacrificed his whole year and staked his career for Naina... .. Sunaina was right .. Woh mar jayega pr naina ka naam nhi lega... As far as makers and story telling is considered we don't want a doormat naina but obviously we don't want selfish and self centred naina either... They have messed up her character completely... And family naina ki school time pr bhi aisi thi but tb naina Zara bhi selfish nhi thi ...it was she who made us fall in love with the show... So we had once seen best version of naina but now can't blindly follow her like ppl here do... Our opinion about Naina is slightly different than yours and sharing on public platform is not a crime

👏 very well said dear.. . Don't understand why people take things to a personal level. We are discussing about the characters as we see it. And we are not wrong to be miffed with the way the characters are being portrayed cuz at the end of the day it is affecting the way the story is progressing.
For me Nainas words and actions don't meet. Yes she loves Sameer a lot but she is able to live with out him maybe not all happy but she can better than Sameer. It's a different matter that the decisions her family make for her can lead her to a miserable life for example Sharad. So I found her declaration that she cant even think about living without Sameer very fake.
