I have been in the 90's and girls were kept so strict. Everything was about respect and integrity of the family, what the people will think. Even though I was born out of India but girls had no freedom. My Mum wouldn't even think about me seeing a boy unless he brought his parents home. Luckily for me had a wonderful bf, now husband who fulfilled all those demands. I don't blame the parents for being that way, people gossiped a lot and if a girl even dated out of their religion, it was a big thing.

Abhi Bhi kitne ghar hain jaha girl ko freedom nai hain, comparing 90s hain but not much, joh 90s and abhi bhi 90s k jaise gahr mein hain unko Naina k character se relate karna asan Hota hain har situation mei jab Naina padti hain warna who got freedom and doesn't belong to 90s won't be able to connect most of the time. I can give example many people said ki they could not connect to the breakup track and with Naina's decision, bhai yeh toh uni ko pata hain jisko padha hain

If Naina is a real life person then she will be of my age. I did my 10th board in 1990, 12th ( those days in Kerala it was called Pre degree and it was in college) in 1992 and B.Sc in 1995. Even before completing degree I started getting alliances and finally got married by the end of 98. I can very well relate to Naina because either me or my friends have faced similar situations or restrictions that Naina faced during those times. If anyone feels that CVs are exaggerating certain things then let me clear you that it is not at all like that. Our situation were similar to Naina on those days. I am saying about girls belonging to a normal city not metro.

My childhood is of 90s and yes restrictions were there. We entered 2000 millennium when i was in 9th. So I could somewhat relate ..my in laws specially father in law is conservative and old thinking people but my mother and mother in law is not. I m working as an officer nd they feel pride in it. But I never fell in love though had crushes but always wanted to feel such love as it is of samaina.

I am first time openly telling on any gp that I used to like a guy in school he was also having somewhat hairs like sameer and I noticed him first time when he was fighting with someone in school... U know how boys fight is punching and strangely i did not find him a bad guy though don't know the reason for the fight and he also looked at me... And then left the fight and went away on his bike. Then I used to find excuses to see him like when he used to play cricket or basketball and many times he caught glimpses of me looking at him...at such times I used to hide or run away.. My bestie knew about it and once just told him that i like him... But as expected he said tell her that she is a very nice person and he doesn't deserve me m too good for such a boy. I scolded her for revealing my feelings for him . . But after this incident I felt that he developed some feelings for me and used to stare at me steal my glimpses on many instances also danced on stage in farewell when we were in 12th on "o humdum suniyo re". I forgot to mention that I I joined this school in 11th class. I was new in this school but after 12th since no communication happened we went to seperate tracks.. .. Haha... What were those days... Yeh Un dino ki baat hai. 😳

I am from 90's and was in love/crush/infatuation and it was at first sight. I was in 7th std and our school had started may be it was couple of days. I was sitting and writing something and someone entered the class and I saw him. Something happened to me like mere diamaag mein ghati bajne lagi and I was feeling happy for no reason. He sat parallel to my bench. I was totally crazy about him and people could see from my harkat. I have done everything from calling him, drinking from the same tap after him, I had even complained to principal about him. 😉 I was very good in studies kaash if he was also good in it. We were classmates for 2 years and then he became my junior 😆 😆 one more thing our names were matching deepa and deepraj. 😳 . He was like hero in looks and I think a lot many girls had fallen for him. He was good in sports.i remember he once he gave me a shake hand but I didn't do like naina and sameer don't know why. I could totally relate to naina and sameer. Almost everything about yeh in Dinon ji baat hain is nostalgia for me. He knew about my feelings and we used see eye to eye so many times there is no count and I did not try to talk to him about my feelings or even he never did that.my friends knew about it and they used to tease me like anything. Some classmates used to put my cycle and his cycle together . My mom and dad were cool. I never felt any restrictions but may be I was not crossing my limits.but a lot a changed from 90s to 2018. He once came near my home where some group of boys used to play cricket. He played with them. Lot many things. That's my story
