Hi Ross... Looks like you had given up on Sameer instead! 😆 Well, BKC got what he deserved... He is some piece of work... But the actor did good, showing the MCP nature of a short tempered guy. 👍🏼 The kind of people who like to abuse smaller and physically weaker people, that's the only way they can show they are in power... And all those suggestive things he said... very creepy. Did he even notice he was in the college and he was talking to Naina in that manner in front of a crowd... Glad Naina stood up to him. 👏 Loved how even after he confessed that chacha had accepted, she still refused. 👏 Of course she ended up with a slap for her efforts! 😡 Poorgilr, humiliated in front of other students.
I don't like violence but in this case I'm very happy Sameer acted fast to stop that nonsense... Someone had to! Randeep was very good here... his VO had just mentioned a hero with passion, and I felt Randeep completely justified that statement in his acting... And yet, when Naina held his hand to stop, he immediately turned gentle. He didn't try to push her out of the way or snatch his hand back, but after a token struggle he stopped. It would've been so nice if Preeti witnessed it... she would so totally have joined Sameer! 😉
Chacha disappointed me... He let his hurt and ego rule over his head and rational thought, and not for a second he thought that he was putting the entire life of his beloved daughter in danger, not even after chachi pointed it out. Bela was awesome... Loved how the mother in her was concerned and convinced that this was not right... Her motherly instincts on point! 😃 But chacha ... Chose the wrong time to turn into the Anand of Pooja's track... Who was irrational in his treatment of Bela over a small issue... Trust is chacha's strength and weakness... It's the one thing he cannot handle, and makes him stupid till he can see reason again. But in this case the cost of his impulsive judgement would have been too costly... Naina's life would've been destroyed... and all because he didn't have the courage to face some truths! 😡
And Ross, going from Sameer's condition, it appears that we will get our wish... We will see an aloof Sameer who is trying to stay away from Naina as he is not completely convinced that Naina never loved him like she loved her family... Hard truth for him to accept but he seems to be convinced now... Will be interesting to see how Naina restores Sameer's trust on herself once more... It will be an uphill battle and in the process Naina is going to figure out her true priorities and with whom her real loyalties should lie with...
Ironically, chacha is all mad thinking Naina broke his trust, and literally threw her to the dog, whereas the truth is that Naina broke Sameer's trust in order to keep chacha's and yet when in trouble Sameer was the first to come forward and help! 👏
To me this track is going as I anticipated... we are at a reverse Mt. Abu juncture, where Sameer is the one whose trust is broken and Chacha has found out the truth... Just like how Sameer broke Naina's trust then and Nanu found out... I hope after this is settled and after chacha understands his mistakes, he will help Naina just like how Nanu did... Wonder what Naina will do to convince Sameer how much he means to her... To do that she first needs to believe in that herself... Lets see what will make her realize... Only then will she start to value Sameer's love and his emotions... which until now seem dispensable to her... Sameer will outright reject saying he did not trust Naina or the Agarwals anymore... What if they change their mind and Naina goes back running to them... Only then Naina will understand that she not only hurt him badly she also broke his trust horribly.
P.S: I will read today's review only tomorrow... But quickly, a standing ovation to the way Sameer knocked some much needed sense in chacha... He was so on point! 👏 How well he anticipated and guessed every single thing from chacha's one statement... and I loved how he pointed out that by not talking to Naina and not finding the truth chacha had broken her trust... Whereas she was shinning so bright in upholding her familys trust in her... and I also loved how he pointed out that while she loved them the most, it was him who loved her the most... Such a subtle lap on their faces to show they didn't deserve a daughter like Naina. Also him asking if they are willing to break the caste barrier for their child's happiness after knowing how she has willingly sacrified her lifetime of happines for their sakes... And best was Sameer didnlt flinch even for a second, or feel ashamed that he loved Naina and she had rejected him... He stood tall, because he loved her truthfully and fought to save her honor in the family... AT the same time his head was held eye and he never lowered his eyes... Direct confrontation, as if stating these are the cold facts, now take it and chew on it! I didn't commit a crime, I just love your daughter... Randdep was fabulous, each sentence had such differences in the emotion... every time he mentioned Naina his voice automatically softened as if she was right there...
Then came Preeti and all her efforts to get Naina to talk... So glad chacha listened, and received the second major slap of the day! 😳 From his daughter, who emphatically stated that chacha was wrong this time... But Naina! Just like Sameer has lost all hopes of a reconciliation, it seems Naina has lost all hopes of even being happy... Loved how Preeti try to point out that she needs to stop crying in the name of fate and do something! 👏 Well, atleast chacha found out that it was Sharad who had attacked Naina and not the other way around like he had claimed... And he wanted Naina to apologize! 😡 I hop chacha takes her to Sharad's house and makes her slap him hard! Ayesha was superb... and Ashi too trying to yet again swallow her hurt in that scene... and Sachin too in both scenes, where he was truly ashamed of his act... and how his eyes opened to reality! Hope to see that guilt in the Mandir scene...
Also, I was happy to see Naina finally atleast acknowledging that she was hurting Sameer everyday and punishing him for loving her so selflessly... A positive first step, now she needs to build on it... and as per precap the meeting is in the temple... I wonder if chacha will confess to his crime of breaking Naina's trust, so she realizes that he was also human... Only then will she pull chacha down from that high pedestal, and suddenly he will come to Sameer's level... Now she needs to find her own path back to Sameer because Samer is done so chasing her!
