Shefali nainas last scene or rather shefalis last scene just ruined the beauty of the charcter of shefali for me in a way...
Defo it was not the right time but I don't think the words where apt either...

Ok she is hurt...she is broken...she has lost trust in love maybe...but what was that all she was saying...it would have been apt if she could rather encourage naina to become strong and stand up for her love for sameer...instead of making her doubt on herself wether she will be able to confess to her family that she loves sameer...
She should have said ke tum arjun se zyaada himmat vaali ho...aur mein haanti hon ke tum zaroor apne pyaar ka saath do gi..
Calling samainas love not as deep yet peoved that she has really not understood samainas love...they are too deep in love that even thinking of loosing each other scares them..they don't need any physical contact...there eyes are enough to emote ...its all about the feeling if loving each other...to have each in their life..to know that there is someone for whom my well being matters even moore

Coming to shefali...well if I keep my self in her place..how forward thinking and practical bold she is...and how much she knows arjun...what made her trust him so much that she thought he will be able to stand up against their his family?
I found it a little stupid on her behalf to trust him so early in their relationship? Knowing how easily he gets under pressure and how he has his fathers thinking still inplanted in him...

Sorry but for me it was a bad end to a very poserfull and inspiring character...not to mention leaving horrible after effect both of them...

Exactly my feelings. Her advice to naina was more of manipulation and mind game than a genuine advice.
Naina was friends with a wrong person.
Maturity doesn't lie in modern clothes.

I also find Shefali's words quite harsh. She was literally forcing Naina to breakup with Sameer. If she knows that Sameer can do all those things for the sake of a sorry from Naina during the post bet phase then she can guess how much he can do to get permission from Naina's Family for their marriage. After all Naina's happiness lies on her family's happiness and she will never be able to live peacefully if she hurt Chacha-Chachi in any ways.
Shefali herself didn't know most of the incidents happened in Samaina's relation. She don't know what all pain and suffering Naina had gone through during Delhi track and manhoos track. Still Naina was confident about the love of Sameer and she brought him back to the relation and filled all void created by Nanaji death with her love. In this scenario Shefali is completely not aware of how much Naina can do for happiness of Sameer. She can break even the rules set by her family for his happiness which is a very big thing during that time. This shows the amount of trust Samaina has for each other and depth in their relation which Shefali doesn't know. So she is not at all right in judging that Samaina's relation is not deep.
Arjun never shown even 1% of courage like Naina and even before also he had screamed at Shefali under the influence of his father. It was her own stupidity that she revealed their love affair all on a sudden in front of the whole family when she herself knows that Arjun is spineless. How she thought that the person who is not even ready to admit that he accompanied her for her friend's marriage will admit that they both are in love relationship.
For me it looked like she took a revenge on Arjun and their family by breaking Naina. She is very well aware that Naina will die a 1000 deaths if she has to go away from Sameer.
I personally didn't like the way how Shefjun's affair started and the way how they were progressing. Shefjun more on infatuation and it is incomparable to Samina's love which is deep rooted and based on mutual understanding.

Even I think shefali's words were more of manipulating naina to leave sameer than of a genuine advice to stand for her love. Their love is deep and strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Just hope that this separation track ends soon and their love becomes stronger and deeper than ever before. Really difficult to see two people who are madly in love with each other like this.

I forgot to add, thanks for making this post. While entire forum was going gaga over shefali's post, this post speaks reality.

I beg to differ here...i agree she was a bit harsh but the fact is ...whatever she said...was it not the reality of this Aggarwal family...her words were an eye opener for Naina... she had never thought on these lines before this incident...before this they were experiencing many beautiful and some not so good things in love...but the ground reality remains that the love story is not only about two people...many more are associated with those two and they need to learn to balance everything😊
Naina is in a vulnerable state at this moment and impulsively she has taken this step of break up...out of her fear and vulnerability...but what would happen once Sameer brings her back to himself...then they would emerge stronger and their bonding would be much much more stronger than before😃
Sameer feels her pain and she would also feel his pain eventually...then she would realise that her decision is wrong and they both need to take a stand for their love😃

Now that they are 18...its time for them to realise practicalities of life and adulthood...that its not always all or none...they need to balance many relationships at one time to manage their life nicely😃

Sorry dear for speaking on different lines as compared to others😊

I have a different take on this. I agree with shefali's words except her thinking that samainas love isn't deep. She saw Sam's love during shaadi track but i think she dont have much clue about nainas love. After that shadi track we never saw naina and her interaction at all. Not even during delhi track as far as i remember. So i think she is unaware about it and she reacted.

I beg to differ partially. Shefali was a very good and underrated character. Even wise people make mistakes and she made a mistake of seeing good things about Arjun. Eventually they fell in love but their love lacked substance. Thats how their love saga ended on a bitter note. Her advice was harsh but I feel she helped Naina in an indirect manner. A jerk to sameer because of Naina's decision to part ways hence his realization of practicalities of life. While Naina will eventually become mentally strong to face the family. Their love is already deep and its going to become deeper due to this problem that the situation has forced them to face.
