Could Arjun have done anything else at all?

A guy who has spent all his life under pressure of his father and his expectations from him. For a boy who has lost her Mom when he was too young. Is it easy for him to do anything else.

I would like to share my pov on this...i hope you wont feel offended...it would be from both the POV ...i hope its ok😊

Arjun is just 19 years old and still has to do something to sustain his future...means he just nobody today.so at such situation he crumbled to the pressure of family.sameer is rich ...he has his own business that' why he is confident. Naina s family will agree to sameer and I guess there will be lot of opposition from sameer family because of class difference...

Arjun is completely and utterly spineless -- and this is partly Rakesh's fault. In fact I was amazed at his level of cowardice.

Then why did arjun talk to shefali mother..that he will never leave shefali .

I know its about Arjun but today I could feel that if Naina was in this situation or will be in a similar situation in future would do the same. That's their upbringing...they way Agarwal family threatens kids and keep them under their belt (chach/ chachi are an exception however) none of the kids will ever have courage to go against the family. I'm so sure...we'll witness a similar drama when Sameer/ Naina's truth will come out.

Coming to Shefali...we ahve a girl who has been shown to speak what is the truth and takes a stand for what is right. Here she was being blamed for something that she had not done...it was him who offered his car to her and instead she was blamed for trapping him...so if I was in her situation I feel even i would have also revealed that they love each other. Also Arjun is older than Naina...and in those days it was common to get married at this age😳

So what Shefai did was right according to me.

Now coming to Arjun...i feel that he is a guy who cant take a stand for anything...and somewhere Rakesh is responsible for this trait in him. He has put an undue pressure on him always. In such a situation I agree that he cant take a step and accept that he was the one who did all this...as he is scared of his father and the repercussions of this confession...but for once did he think of Shefali...even after seeing her courage and her love and her will to fight for their love...he never showed any courage to defend her😡

He could have said something else and twisted the story in some other safe way...but he put the entire blame on that girl😡

If such a thing would have happened with his sisters...how would he feel😳

That just shows he has no guts to speak the truth ever

Regarding him losing his family...probably he hasnt lost that...but love...surely he has...and he desrves that...Shefali deserves someone better😳

Atleast he could have said that he loves her. He could say that i love shefali but i won't marry her without family's consent.But he didnt. Instead he lied. He literally betrayed shefali. He become innocent and acted like shef trapped him.

My POV ..

If he had opened his mouth and said that he had gone with Shefali thinking that she is Naina's friend and needed help...that they are unnecessarily making a big issue of it...they didn't get married and they are not getting married as they are kids ...need to study and concentrate on their career...

I am sure at this chacha ji would have supported

But this fellow didn't open his mouth...his in ability to stand up and tell a simple truth...made Shefali insecure and she confessed their love in front of every one...

All he had to do was to tell the truth. ONLY the truth...but he is so spineless even in front of his dad that he couldn't even utter the truth which was very harmless...nothing close to what Naina had done.

Regarding parents committing suicide .. that is blackmailing ...no matter what and how bad the situation is a parent SHOULD NEVER TAKE SUCH A DECISION...what are you trying to teach your kids...to give up in life...and NO kid should fall for such acts of parents and ruin their life...if he had done that , imagine how it would have affected Naina and Arjun...did he even think of it...kids make mistake you need correct them ...not commit suicide!!

I know a lot of you will have sympathy to Rakesh , but I don't because he is the root cause for his kids to go be this way...both his kids found affection outside the family is because they were not getting enough attention and love inside the house...they were being brought up that s all ...provided ...but kids need more than food clothing and shelter...Naina is still more balanced because of her chacha , else should be in a worse situation...with character she is ...she would have been just an obedient girl with no guts to take decisions in life..
