Hi , if you are hinting on the post I created wrt low TRP analysis...my aim was not to belittle actors or cast or crew...rather give them an insight into what goes behind the minds of people while watching /wanting to watch the show...
We need to understand every serial is a product and viewers are their customers...this serial has to sell and hence there is need to promote...from a sales perspective , promotion differs depending on the market and the product...
TRP is very important for a show to succeed , high TRP means more viewers , and when viewers increase sponsorship /advertisements increase which means more money for the PH to run the show also better profit margin.
Regarding actors promoting their show, well it depends on their contract...if its a part of their contract then they will have to...and but even then most people do that because it helps to get their show highlighted...
Agreed the responsibility of promotion doesn't directly fall on the actors...but my post was to highlight how imp it is to bring the team as whole to promote...as it gives more visibility to the characters that they portray on screen...
Again as I said in my post I am not a shipper , my only reason to create that post was to find what is the reason people decide not to watch the show...so that if the makers are reading they get an insight and can work on it...because I really don't want the show to go off ...because this is one show that I wait eagerly to watch Monday to Friday and it hurts to see such low TRP .
no... i'm not hinting at your post... but the replies in that post... esp of a person who mentioned the arrogance of the leads.
i totally agree to your post thats y i commented there too...
trust me... only initial promotions are a part of the contract... the actors are not bound to give appearances together...nor are they obligated to promote shows...
its just coz they are on social media... they share random stuff...
rather than being grateful for that... here few people are assuming its their responsibilty... which is plain and simple wrong...
how people chose to use the social media... depends on their choices...if one person likes sharing stuff and stories from his or her work everyday... its not necessary the other person will be doing the same...
my post was to just bring forth the point... that wen ppl talk loosely about the relationship whether its good or bad about a lead pair... it will reflect their work environment...
take somi-hema for eg...
had they not washed their dirty linen in public... nobody woud've known what happened or if atall it happened... their scenes would've not looked forced... reason... ppl would've still considered them as a part of the team... just coz we have talked so much about them... we have made a perception about them... so no matter how much they work hard... they will always look forced to us...
the same goes with samaina... randeep and ashi are working hrs after hrs just like older days... but here people are questioning their work ethics... saying that their non cordial relationship offscreen(not that its true..we really don't know) is reflecting on the screen... reading such posts... people are percieving the same thing... and they feel the scenes are not as good...
u understand wats happening ??? people are concluding things which don't even exist ???
had these rumours not been spread... the grievance would've been that this track is not good... the scene looks incomplete etc etc...
but now people are finding the scenes lacking in chemistry and blaming ashdeep...
thars exactly why i created this post... it has nothing to do with your post
