@Aisha...

Even I'm not interested in replying to u...If u bring up ur personal life on a public platform...Be prepared to face the opinion of others roo...Just an advise nothing else...

And for those u think it was a personal comment...
It was not...There is a vast difference in being personal...

People here are putting sexual abuse and eve teasing in the same parameter...Which is not right...
I posted my opinion...On reel ...And will stand by it...

u know what people give advices very fast despite without knowing the facts clearly.u dont her even and making a personal comment is really disgusting and u r even justifying that if she will discuss it here then people will discuss abt it thats really shameful act of u pardon me for being so rude

thanks for the post... and that shows a different perspective however eve teasing is not okay... drinking, smoking, po*n, gambling they r all okay... i for sure dont judge people on that...

but what do u actually know about eve teasing? do u think its okay to touch other women without her consent? that is what his friends did in the first place... agreed he wasnt part of it agreed he said sorry agreed he tried to stop them... but wen the gals brother said if sorry works if something happened to his own family member then why beat them? or why stop them from beatiing those guys who did eve tease the gal and like he doesnt like it happening to his family member same the other person wud also not like... so let them fight.

regarding retaliating or slapping back - pls go through stories of Asifa who was 8, the nun of around 70+ years - do you think they were in a age where they cud hv stopped anything from happening to them? just read through the brutality of what they went through... and i request pls read it...

and like u have said CVs have shown what Sam was always doing... so he was always respectful towards women. so why a U turn there? and i as an ardent fan here expected CV to keep that very quality intact in the flawed yet lovable characters that they themselves created...

they have taken many creative liberties... so wen out n out the country and even all over the world, the problem of eve teasing is rampant why not show that their very much real life character stick to that quality which he has inherent in him?

and somewhere it was mentioned that did he see those magazines? so we see cigarattes, beer bottles, cards but only for the magazines we shud think that he dint see them. why? well even if he saw that i dont hv any problem with that either...

Don't u think the CVS are doing exactly the same thing that people in today's world want ???
Sending out a message ????

U gave me examples of asifa, that nun, and I can also quote nirbhaya and that incident which happened in our neighbouring country...

What do we do ?
Sign a petition...And do a candle march ... What does it yield?
Nothing...

Until and unless that awareness starts from within...Nothing can be attained...
And I feel the CVS are hinting towards it...

Sameer got agitated the moment the brother mentioned his family...And sameer's VO mentioned naina too...
Its just that the gravity has not struck him...

He will reach that point of self awareness wen naina or anybody close to him will go thru this...

Its at this point he will realise...That just respecting women is not enough...We need to voice it out too...Stop others from doing wrong too...

Sameer is not a mahan atma...So I don't expect him to behave like a saint...He's human...He will learn like all of us do

thats very much a personal comment... and u compared a real gal Aaisha and demeaned her take on love... too personal for sure. and we all here say we in the forum are like a family and she shared a personal incident... so dont make such comments for a real person just to justify ur reel character

Please stop fighting all of you! It's a show and not some reality that's getting showcased. The makers too have admitted to tweaking the story for creative benefits. Healthy discussions are fine but this seems to be spiraling out of hand. More like some mud slinging. Just stop.

Neither do I

And thats y I work with an ngo who help rape victims start their life afresh...Victims who have been abandoned by their families...

Never felt the need to share this coz my personal life is very much personal...

And if u felt my comment was personal... It was not ...i was referring to naina... And praising her for not passing her judgement on a single wrong act of sameer...

And yes I already read ur post in the evening...But did not comment coz I did not want to either sympathise with the victim...Nor underestimate ur act of saving her... It just reduces the whole thing to insensivity...(that's strictly my opinion)

Its ok pooja (I hope I got ur name right)

Its just that I'm pretty blunt and don't sugar coat my opinion...
People do find me rude and my best frends over the years whom I found on this forum can vouch for it😆

I might come as mean and rude... But don't know the art of playing with words...

The whole point of my post was lost somewhere in the face of a comment of mine... But I'm glad that I got some good discussion going on too😊

Yes you got it right dear. Am a blunt person as well with a strong point of view. I just wanted you all to make peace since I saw the discussion had been veered completely in a different direction. Hope you didn't mind.

So true. I'm not disappointed with sameer's character. It is as realistic and relatable that can be. He is just seventh years old not even attained his maturity age same goes with Naina.
Naina and sameer are bound to make mistakes and learn from it. We are judging them as leads of a serial not as a human beings that's why the disappointed came from. I am happy that CVS are exploring both the characters of the leads not making them look mahaan but as realistic as possible.
Sameer and Naina have a long journey to go still so we still have to wait.
This the only show where I can relate with the leads because they are flawed and not perfect.
Kudos for the CVS for portraying the characters like this then making it mahaan.
