How are you ?

Hope you are well and doing good.

Finally got some time to comment was super busy with family and my naughty kid.

Whatever I wrote it got deleted so again I am writing.

Anyways I loved the episode.

Munna Pandit are so sweet yaar! They wants to give all their marks to Naina.

Loved Pandit here he wanted to study more so he could have got more marks to give Naina.

Samaina are so lucky to have friends like them.

Preeti,Swati was so worried for Naina because she failed.

So Sameer came to Ahmadabad and finally his Mom realised that he is not at home.

Nothing to say about evil KeDi they don't even care for Sameer.

I just hope Vishakha will have realisation that she can't loose Sameer and it will help their relationship to be better and she will stand by him no matter what.

Now my most favourite part,finally our kiddos met.

Naina sensed him and he was coming playing his mouth organ.

Loved the way they covered water tap,school corridor and finally in classroom they met.

Their iconic twirl but this time they both hold on to each other like never to let it go and no matter what they will not let other fall. Totally loved the hand hold.

Their imagination was so cute ,loved those moments they dreamed together.

Loved their silent talk.

He asked her about hair cut and she told him that she doesn't like it in a cute way but he got angry.

Honestly I never liked her pose in that picture she could have done with some other pose.

I didn't find his outburst unreasonable it showed how much he loves,cares and respects her dignity.

We can't forget the fact that he is only 17 yrs old and right now he is going through so much and that too all alone. I really felt bad for him when he told her that nobody cares how I feel when Naina said exactly what his mom said about his hair.

Even mature men also behave like this sometimes.

My husband is also very possessive about me,if I am talking to any guy he will come there and start the conversation regardless what we are talking. Once I asked him don't you trust me? He said I trust you completely but I don't trust the other guy. Believe me I secretly enjoy this side of him because it shows how much he loves and respects me.

As for Sameer he is still a kid going through emotional as well as harmonal changes. He is all alone in Delhi and going through so much ,all his emotions are just bottled up inside him and he took out all his outburst on Naina whom he considers his own.

We show anger to those only whom we love a lot and we know they will understand us no matter what.

And Naina did exactly that she didn't blamed him for his anger or breaking her gift she tried to understand him without knowing the reason. Loved the way she defended him in front of Preeti.

Munna and Pandit totally understood the reason for Sameer's anger. See boys do know these things.

Hopefully they will tell Naina about it but whatever it is I do want Sameer to apologise to her.

Poor girl! She was literally in tears and I loved VO he still regrets that for breaking her heart and a gift.

Now Sameer will get stranded in Delhi while coming back I just hope he stays safe and I so want to see some motherly reaction from Vishakha.

Really looking forward to it.

Episode belonged to all kids.

They all were great.

I will copy paste what I commented on a similar post .

The possessiveness that he showed was natural ..I don't think it has got anything to do with the gender. Let us do a role reversal here. Sameer wants to give his photo to Naina. So he calls his neighbor Amrutha for help. He wants a pic in his boxing gear..now when Naina asks who took this pic and he says Amrutha ...what do you think her reaction will be ??

No one likes to think that their spouse/life partner with whom ONLY they have the right to share intimate moments becomes an object of someone else s sexual interest. Its as simple as that !!

Here for Sameer Naina is not just a GF. She is more than that . He sees her as his "Jeevan Sathi" with whom he plans to share every aspect of his life. So his reaction is natural for that age...As the VO said , he could have explained it to Naina but then his anger is his weakness rt??

Bang On Analysis Kavi...10th se hi unko ek saath dikha diya...I loved how you have tried to decode the timelines...Good one👏

But now I will point out the bloopers of the show...

1. The February promo is a big blunder...as we can clearly see in the episodes that when Sameer-Naina met each other...there was kichad and gloomy/cloudy weather...which is not possible in the month of Feb in Ahmedabad...Plus it was not the time of global warming...It was proper rainy season...😆..Infact gloomy/rainy weather can be seen properly for the first 2 months of the show...😆

2. So when Samaina met Naina's 10th results were already out, Sameer and Naina both should be in 11th, and just by the start of 11th grade, he was kicked out of his Nainital school...And so he immediately joined PVKM... So ideally the first promo of the show itself is a big blooper...😆

3. Sam befriends her in June...by July headboy competition...Paper chor wins it...he is in 12th...Sam decides a bet...July mein Sam ka bday...

4. Aug mein Sam calls Naina in mandir...Pooja's shaadi is arranged in the month of Shravan..which is ought to be the Gregorian month of Aug...

5. Aug-Sept...trip prep...As you rightly said trip in Oct-Nov...Nov 1990 new PM had sworn in...

6. Then I agree with you Nov-Dec Naina manao mission...Jan Pooja's wedding...Here comes blooper number 2...Varun saying 9 months of engagement...Not possible...Shravan (Aug) to Jan is not 9 months...

7. Feb month...Ideally 12 grade board exams...and hence farewell of Arjun...He starts looking out for colleges...

8. Blooper number-3 comes into picture...Suddenly during farewell Nanu dies...but Sam reaches delhi in May...😆

9. Blloper number-4, they never showed 11th exams, you know they are ubercool kids of PVKM...But currently Naina-Preeti are in 12th...she failed 12th Unit test (as per chacha and bela)..Paper chor is already done with school...They might be going to school in May as 12th graders had summer vacation classes in many schools across India...the best possible reason my mind could think of ...😆

10. But for now let us assume that after Pooja's wedding in Jan...Feb to April..Naina and Sameer dated each other...which they didn't show us...😆...April Nanu died as you said...Also PVKM has farewell for 12th graders in April and 12 boards in April (At the end PVKM)...And hence Sam in Delhi in May...Now after Mid may he is coming to Ahmd for their first year anniv which should be in June ideally...but they are celebrating it a bit early...As Sam wants to escape Delhi...😆

Oh God now my head is spinning badly with so much of timeline gadbad...So from past few days I'm happily concluding that Samaina is a unique love story that lives in TIME PARADOX...😆...

I am glad Sameer realizes his mistake in future. He should not have gotten angry. Being possessive and being protective are two different things. You cannot blame and get angry on the girl for the mistake of some boys.

I also understand Sameer's anger (I don't support him though). I understand the society of that era and the context. Sameer is still a teenager with teenage hormones. He is in a delicate state of mind. Having lost his Nanu, he is holding on to Naina. He has been staying in an alien environment, fighting on all fronts. So, he took his frustration on Naina.

Felt bad for Naina though.

@bold and underlined...that is an inherent implication in love...I absolutely concur...The sense of belonging and exclusivity!!

Yet, to equate the implication to attitudes of how partners should behave becos the world at large cannot be trusted is a problematic extension of thought.

I accept that one can't step between a couple's relationship equation to suggest the regulation of forms of "possessiveness". Its strictly between them how they choose to conduct their personal equation.

Having said that...the larger point I felt is about what role conditioning of attitudes has in a society. That a woman must feel a sense of guilt for actions of of others...is somewhere problematic for me...and I am not referring to this issue only...In regular life...one cannot stop interacting with people in public domains fearing how the personal attitudes are. So Sameer scolding Naina may have had relevance in those conditioned times...but will it been seen to have the same interpretation even today is my question.

I liked the episode except a few errors.

Their imagination was sweet and like I had guessed it yesterday, and it was based on DTPH song.

Did Sameer have longer hair in their dreamy sequence? I felt so.

They hardly even spoke and the photo incident came up.

As much as Sameer or M and P can say that boys will look at the girls with different intentions, so his anger is valid, unfortunately that has been our Desi outlook always.

A girl gets eve teased and it is her mistake. Maybe her dressing or her behavior invited this kind of reaction, isn't that what we always hear.
Growing up in the 90s like Naina and Sameer, I have heard this infinite times.

It is very wrong to blame a girl for whatever bad happens to her. If every man looks at a woman only with sexual context, it does not matter how she is dressed or how she gets her photo clicked etc, she will always face these unpleasant situations.

Here too Sameer got angry with Naina when the mistake was made by the boys.

Anyways I liked that they showed this reaction in Sameer which was typical reaction in those days.

Munna and Pandit also understood why he got angry and this was also very natural.

I have a request to the makers - please don't waste water. I did not like that the taps in the school were open and water was just flowing. Water scarcity is real. Please conserve water.

Regarding this time line confusion:

According to the first episode it is Feb 1990 and Naina is in grade 11
Now it is May 20 1991 and they are still in grade 11? How?

Don't kids have vacation during May in India? When do these kids have exams and vacation?
Does their one academic year run for two years?

Pooja's marriage was around Jan 1991
Feb they had cricket match and March Farewell party. Nanaji also died in March

It is May now. So has it been 2 months since Sameer moved to Delhi?

These glaring loop holes in Time lines is very irritating for a viewer like me when I try to find continuity in the story. 😕

PS: Is Swathi's last name Pandit too?

I have a request to the makers - please don't waste water. I did not like that the taps in the school were open and water was just flowing. Water scarcity is real. Please conserve water.

Exactly my thoughts while watching it I was like somebody please turn off those taps.

yes understood your point...moral values assigned to woman and man are diff...though I feel it should be the same...but if a man and woman love each other deeply like our Sameer and Naina...even Man will feel guilty ...for example during the wedding track when that girl in blue dress was hanging around him showing her right on him...he felt bad ..he tolerated it as he didn't want to be rude at that time...every time Naina saw him with her , he knew his girl was feeling bad ...that pain and guilt was reflecting on his face too...

We women always think that men don't mind such things ...they enjoy such unwanted attentions...the reality is they also dislike and feel dirty of such attention and unwanted intimacy like us women..but they don't speak about it...The way Sameer pushed Kamya away from him is another example...at that time he wasn't in love with Naina...even then he didn't like that closeness ..so I personally never associate gender when it comes to such things..

Finally dekha. The water wastage bothers me. So many times they show water just flowing from the taps. People dont always shut the tap properly or some taps might be leaking water but here Realism gaya achaar lene!!
Requesting the CVs not to waste water... cant imagine how much they waste with all the repeat takes.

PH is blowing their budget in new clothes these days😆... for everyone and Vishu getting so many new sarees😲 But I actually appreciate that they were given new outfits... some of us who have watched shows by a certain PH saw even the leads in same outfits and footwear more than a year later... Rekha will know whom I am talking about 😆

It is so frustrating especially for viewers like us who have watched this show from the beginning. We have to assume, presume things in order to "fit in " with the bloopers and loopholes...seriously the CVs should be notified yaar...this is too much...
