I agree Ridz... Even i have had similar kind of experience.. Though my husband isn't an angry young man... He's usually calm type... Bt when it comes to me, he becomes very possessive and overprotective... Its indeed a male thing. 😊

Yes dear. You know I thought my dad was not a angry young man. Than one day some person at my mom's work complemented my mom. And my mom told dad, and damn girl I swear, never seen my dad that angry in my life lol😆 So, I understood what my mom told me, its a male thing. Learn how to handle your man lol😆 Some things that your mom tells you, its so damn true lol😆 I am still young, so I see world with my naive eyes, and than my mom gives me her version of things, and I am like no mom its not like that. Until I found my Sam, and than everything she said turned out to be true lol😆 And I was like oh shit, mom is right 😆 Still am in learning phase, so hope I will be a fast learner lol😆

I doubt if he can enter that place alone...he will need some healing before he enters that place...the image of his Nanu on the floor of his room will haunt him for some time...till then its best that he avoids or go there with someone else.

Now coming to school scene with Naina...

It all began with a wrong note...both were not in their right frame of mind...his coming to Ahemdabad was not just to meet Naina but was rather a run away to a place where he could find peace which is to Naina...on the other hand Naina was also stressed abt failing in exam...so both were too stressed and to top it all they are very young...

the start of their conversation was with a wrong topic... he knows Naina loves his hair ...and when she was asked if she liked the hairstyle she laughed...typical girl...she doesn't know the background story...to top it all she gave the same response as his mom. So he feels that both women who are important to him don't seem to understand his pain...and now that she is in front of him he has to let his temper out...because Naina is his life partner...so there he goes , blaming her... 😆

Now comes the photo part...with all this bottled up pain...he was hoping to see some light when she talked abt gift for him...but that Gift only added misery to already existing wound...let us accept one thing , that pose was very suggestive...yes its true it was meant for him...but such photos and their copies could be misused in those days...so cant blame him.

The possessiveness that he showed was natural ..I don't think it has got anything to do with the gender. Let us do a role reversal here. Sameer wants to give his photo to Naina. So he calls his neighbor Amrutha for help. He wants a pic in his boxing gear..now when Naina asks who took this pic and he says Amrutha ...what do you think her reaction will be ?? 😉 No one likes to think that their spouse/life partner with whom ONLY they have the right to share intimate moments becomes an object of someone else s sexual interest. Its as simple as that !!

Here for Sameer Naina is not just a GF. She is more than that . He sees her as his "Jeevan Sathi" with whom he plans to share every aspect of his life. So his reaction is natural for that age...As the VO said , he could have explained it to Naina but then his anger is his weakness rt??

agree with what you have written...
They both had baggage today ...theiy were not in right frame of mind ...baina failed to understand sameer' s stress ...rather she is unaware of his family and situations he is going through ...sameer was already dealing with lot of issues and that hair cut response from naina came as taunt...that pic just added ghee to burning fire .

Nice post Ridz...👏
Men being the protectors and women being the nurturers, it's very natural for men and for that matter Sameer to feel this way...As compared to women, men feel the emotion of possessiveness first...There is nothing wrong if he asked her that did you go alone to the photo studio, plus her pose was definitely the one that can add fuel to the fire...who clicked the picture, were some of the natural questions coming to his...

Women are from Venus and men are from Mars as they say...so it is obvious that they are the raging fires in maximum relations...Anger of men comes out in different forms...some are the ones that are Angry Young Man like Sam, impulsive and at times aggressive, some are the ones who burst out late, or probably who bottle up things and then comes out the anger...Toofan ke pehle ka sannata types...and then there are the sarcastic ones...So his anger yes was justified with all the things going on in his mind after listening to nasty talks of tapori boys ...and plus Dadi already torturing him...Men in general don't like any other men eyeing their woman in bad manner...they cannot even tolerate the possibility of it...

But the best part in place were the VOs...talking about it and laughing on their mistakes when they are mature adults...

But the only thing that irked me a bit today was things were suddenly so fast...I mean suddenly the show was on Bullet train speed...There was no conversation between them at all...atleast a 5 min scene with them asking each other's khair-khairyat...and if he has flown back to delhi then atleast they would have shown him go to Nanu's place atleast once...It is obvious to visit the place of your lost beloved ones if you are in the city...And it's not that Nanu died years before...it's hardly 15 days...So I wished the pace was a bit relaxed today...

The best part of the show is while Munna and Pandit understands reason of sameer's anger easily then 3 girls are completely clueless. This is the beauty of the serial. This is so realistic. They showed the difference of thinking of two genders - male and female, so beautifully. These girls are going to learn the 1st lesson about the male psychology, after this. 👍🏼

Agreed with you. Girls are naive, and they still don't have experience of how men think. And they won't have it until they get married too lol😆 But guys know how other guys think, and that is why Munna and Pandit understood, and Munna was ready to beat Pandit😆 Now just imagine, if Munna could beat up Pandit who is his best friend b/c of the way he thought. How Sameer must have felt thinking about that photographer guy looking at Naina in such way.😆 That too in un dino😆 In dino mein bhi ladke paagal ho jate hain yeh soch ke, than how do you think it will affect him in un dino when girls were suppose to remain indoors sort of.

I am exactly from that era. No, that was an era when girls started thinking seriously about their own career and their family supported them too. Though, it was not same for every family but the change started from mid 80s.
