Very emotional and heart breaking episode, caps are too good..

Nanu had the most beautiful dialogues today... episode belonged to Nanu... will miss Nanu badly 😭

The village scenes were good.. but I really can't enjoyed the scenes..

Superbb acting by Randeep, Kiran sir, Vaishnavi ji, Sanjay and Raghav.. 👏

Back in those days if it was a vernacular medium I don't think kids learned much English. That's what I have seen with my cousins who attended vernacular medium even though they had English language as such they never stressed much on that

Btw. I wasn't making fun. Sorry if it came out like that. Should have put in a better way. I was just thinking about how ashi and ayesha might have felt enacting those scenes

Although they study in Hindi medium, Naina and Preeti talking like that in English especially Naina in broken English was kind of .😕 They should still have English as a language in school.. right ?

Let's see about Vishaka. I am kind of confused on her atm. She abandoned Sameer to settle herself, that makes me mad on her. But, if she was helpless and a victim - back in those days it was hard for her to stand up for herself.

Honestly speaking I didn't want the episode to end.

Nanu's character though appeared once in a while was definitely a favourite character.

How beautiful were Nanu's dialogues today I'm sure everyone who lost their loved ones at some point in their life could relate to the scene.

Thoroughly enjoyed the episode. I'm heartbroken that Nanu would not be able to see all the milestones in Sameer's life.

And for me I really wanted Naina Nanu to have a heartfelt conversation at some point in the show. But unfortunately that will not happen.

Take a bow to Kiran hi and Randeep. The subtlety of their expression and emotions touched me

One of the best episode in my opinion, Nivi. I absolutely adored that CVs gave a proper closure. Nanu regained consciousness and told priceless stuff to his daughter and grandson.Hope they assimilate what he told them. Vishakha was told to take care of Sameer just as Nanu had been taking care of him on her behalf. Sameer's precious smile should not diminish. And for Sameer, he has to become Sameer Jayprakash Maheshwari. Both the responsibilities are heavy but I am sure mother and son would fulfill Nanu's last wishes. Sameer definitely would become stronger and Vishakha would try to befriend her son. I liked Somani yesterday. His hand on Sameer's shoulder promised a lot. Munna and Pandit were equally heartbroken by this sad turn of event. Mere mention of NAina brought smile to Sameer and Nanu. Adieu was sad but beautiful. (In real life many a people are not even fortunate to be able to say the last goodbye to their loved ones).
Excellent work by Kiran Kumar as Nanu, Randeep as Sameer, Vishakha, M & P and even Somani. Kudos to the dialog writers. 👏

Amazing post dear...touched all emotional scenes...
It was sameer and Nanu' s day ...the day that changes lives ...
Randeep and kiranji nailed it ..
Randeep took sameer to another level
He has come a long way.

Somani tap on sameer shoulder gives a positive vibe...but he has major issue in accepting Sameer..
Acceptance is the first thing for any new relationship...and then comes bonding ..Sameer is pushed away by somani .

Naanu last words touched hearts ...what a beautiful way of conveying responsibility to vishaka and declaring Sameer as Sameer Jai prakash Maheshwari ...this was the best scene for me.
.bcoz if nanu wouldn't be done it..sameer had to fight for his own identity..
Very emotional episode ..

I think by far Nanu is the best character of this show... next to Sameer...what a personality! 👏
Nanu was a positive person...with a zeal for life...
was a forward thinker...who never shied away from doing what's right even if it meant breaking society norms
was a thorough gentleman... never a harsh word out of him, yet well respected in the society
was extremely rich, self made ... yet never proud of all that wealth, he always remained true to his humble roots (so many times he told Sameer he started with Rs. 20 in his pocket)
was an emotional man, yet never let emotions get the better of him, was always practical in his approach...
never raised his voice unless it was the last straw... yet made sure everyone in the room listened to him and followed him...

And just like he told Sameer, he was a grand-father, mother, friend, philosopher, guide, teacher, all rolled into one for Sameer...and he taught Sameer well. Because the Sameer today is a junior replica of this wonderful man...
GOODBYE NANU! You and your gentle, intelligent and endearing ways will me missed...

Welcome Sameer Jaiprakash Maheshwari! One day you will prove to be a worthy successor to this great man...this in a nutshell was what this track was all about...
It was not just for Sameer to mature some more... because Sameer had already matured with all that he experienced during the redemption track, Nanu himself had acknowledged that... Sameer had also found his soulmate, one that Nanu was proud of as well... so his life ahead was mapped out, with Nanu's blessings... he was now mentally ready to take on the responsibility of the business and Naina, but somewhere he still hesitated to embark on that journey... he wanted to remain a kid for some more time. And Nanu understood and was willing to give him that time... but Destiny had other plans for Sameer...

Nanu had to go for Sameer Jaiprakash Maheshwari to be born... as simple as that!
If Nanu was alive, there would be no successor as yet, no pressure for Sameer to be the Waris... to be the son this man wanted him to be. Because Nanu believed in his capabilities... he had seen something in this young man that went beyond getting marks in school... i think in Sameer Nanu saw his younger self, what he was all those years ago... a bright eyed youngster full of life, who had big dreams of making it big, who had the drive to work hard towards his goal... In the redemption phase Nanu saw all this from Sameer and then some... that's why he was so proud to proclaim Sameer's greatness to Vishaka on the phone...😃

As Nanu said, these few years since Vishaka's remarriage that he spent with Sameer he has lived many roles... and so has Sameer... As Nanu said, Sameer often asked why he was not born as his son... and today Nanu finally made him that... his son, his successor...now it was time for Sameer to accept his greatest role, one he was born to be... and none other than his role model could give him ... Nanu always fulfilled every one of Sameer's wishes... and in a twisted way he fulfilled this with of being his son too... also by doing this proclamation in front of everyone Nanu has now placed Sameer on par with Vishaka... hope i'm making sense? That;s how much faith he has n Sameer's abilities.

Well, as sad as it is to see this much loved character go... and as much as we feel that there could've been other ways to achieve this... let's accept the CVs vision for what it is... in the end its their story to tell.

Nivi... to the question you raised... my guess is that Vishaka re-married about 6-7 years, max 10 years back... maybe Sameer was about 7-10 years old then. I remember Nanu trying to explain once to her that her marriage has hit him hard... emotionally. All he needed was love and care, and attention to help him overcome that. Instead Vishaka (and Somani) always put him in hostels, and maybe holidays were with Nanu... I don't think he ever went to Delhi...

Initially Nanu must've thought this would give time for Vishaka to settle down, but as time went by he realized that this was a convenient for both of them to lessen their work... if you remember in the earliest episodes Vishaka was all about Rohan this, Rohan that... Even Nanu didn't like it one bit...So I think with the passage of time it became easier for Vishaka to just ignore Sameer's existence, she almost forgot how to be a mother to Sameer...

This is exactly what Nanu sternly told her and Somani today... even if they want to ignore his presence, Sameer was very much Vishaka's son and he deserved to get the same love and affection that she is bestowing on her other two children. Well said Nanu!👏👏👏 And I'm glad Somani heard it... what a slap to both of them to remind them they have been ignoring their duties... a gentle yet firm reminder that Sameer was not a villain in their life that Somani makes out to be at every given opportunity... rather whether he liked it or not, fact was he had married a woman who was a mother and that child also deserved to be treated as such... Whether Somani liked it or not, from now on Sameer belonged with Vishaka... what a parting gift Nanu! Hats off to you! 👏👏👏

Only both of them are going to be surprised at the gentleman Sameer has become... this rather rare gem of a person with a large heart... one who is sensitive, observant and intelligent... a poet... and one who has the capability to achieve all the dreams that Nanu has seen for him... I for one, am waiting to see this journey of discovery for all of them...

The village scenes were good by itself, but I didn't want to see so many of them today... I liked how Naina was trying her best to enjoy herself, yet her mind kept drifting back to Sameer... and that moment when Nanu blessed Sameer and bound the two together for life, she felt it. She felt as if Nanu was calling out to her... we will see more of that next week...

I'm glad Nanu mentioned Naina to him... as if telling him she's your other goal, my second wish that you need to fulfill... and blesses him for that too... so now nothing is going to keep them from reuniting at the appropriate time, and that time in marriage... also notice how that village lady blessed Naina at the same time...

Performance wise everyone was good... Kiran Kumar and Randeep excelled! Randeep, especially has improved tremendously since Mt. Abu and its a treat to see him ace tough emotionally draining scenes now... his fun scenes were good from the start and with the last track he had vastly improved in the romance department as well... and now this. 👏 That last part where he cries, then smiles through tears on Nanu's request, to that final shocked, stunned look at Nanu's still figure, he did it all with ease...

wonderful post ...all you wrote about nanu indeed very pleasant to read

Aarti I don't know if Somani putting his hand on Sam's shoulder will have any meaning at all. CVs have forgotten so many things that now it is hard to know if it is just a scene or will have any relevance at all in future. Well since now a days to fetch TRP shows need to show torture, sadistic moments...look at the TRP chart toppers...all regressive...so I guess the CVs are majboor. They have to make the show survive and that too on Sony TV which is notorious for pulling shows off air. So extreme sad moments wil be there. I hope they don't go overboard. In the meantime, I will hold on to my 1990s ka K3G version hope. That was such a big blockbuster. Surely that can fetch good TRP. 😊

Now the new chapter begins. While he was happy to be under the love 'protective' umbrella of Naina and Nanu...this phase had to come.
Loved how CVs brought out the reasons why the ''death'' was important.--

Sameer now would feel desired to experience, accomplish, and connect.Knowing that there really is always Nanu, he did not feel the same desire to "do it while young" or work toward a career goal.

And for us ''audience/viewers'':

Remembering that this one life is finite helps us find meaning and be attentive and intentional with our actions. Rather than the perfect selfie or the perfect salary, we might think about spending time with the people who matter to us, doing things that make us happy, and leaving our mark on society. Thinking about death brings us closer to our values, and helps us think about what "the point" is; asking ourself what we value, what we stand for, what we want to be remembered for, and what we believe is our purpose. Then start moving in that direction.

Eveyone's acting abilities were displayed to best. You have penned it really well.Nothing more to add.👏👏

Nanu taught Sameer everything..except living without him.

Minu, beautiful positivity🤗. Thanks for this. I have been OK with this "death" as the reason for Sameer to grow. It happens to many people in real life. I am really looking forward to this growing phase of Sameer and Samaina. First time I see a male character given so much importance and is the center of the show whose life development we are going to see.

Your last line breaks my heart - Sameer learnt everything except to learn to live without Nanu

And anyway, these kids are almost in 12th... everyone matures in that year, because everyone tries to figure out what they want to do in future... and if engineering is the goal, in that era atleast, kids had to start from 10th,me and so many of my cousins did that... so then they would've matured even before these kids in the show.

Also, I've seen a lot of business families where the boys usually started helping out in the family business from 10th... college education was not a must, but many did it... it would be more arts or commerce because they were in the business... so these kids matured as well by the time they made it to 12th...

So personally I don't see anything wrong in everyone wanting the leads to mature... and these two are in love, who want to marry one day... such kids definitely mature because they know they will ahve to settle down faster than their counterparts... hope I'm making sense?

Yaar Aarti, you make perfect sense always but this @bold ends all discussions na. It is the writer's vision and they can show what they want undoubtedly. I am at this point a little disheartened and disappointed about few things in the show, things I had been ignoring for some time and the frustration is pouring out now! Having said that, I still trust these CVs more than anyone I have trusted in the desi sabun world, for now. The writing, dialogues, conversations, humor is what drew me to the show more than anything else.

I was ready for bet revelation and heartbreak phase, nanu's loss not so much even from the story POV.

YUD is a fictional tale inspired by Mittals love story and this is one part of Sumeet's life that could have been skipped or altered to give a more positive spin yet somehow, logically show character and story progression IMHO.I guess my expectations from the show was different.

Few things I am glad about though- these CVs don't interact with fans even if they are on SNS and don't give into their demands. Many would have noticed from their experience with other shows that CVs vision' if any goes for a toss when they start catering to whims of the fans.

One not so very creative writer of a very popular show had once adviced fandom when they complained about the tracks and character butchering if you don't like it, use your remote. I take his advice very seriously when watching any show.😆

Sameer has already matured so much and like children from business families did especially in the 90s, he could have started going to the office/factory on weekends like Nanu suggested to learn the ropes. To show him shoulder all responsibilities of the business, there were other options possible as suggested by Kavi and Rose in previous posts. Studying and getting good grades in schools is a responsibility too as a high school student.

Anyway, new phase begins Monday. Nanu will not be back but the the light feel of the show will be back soonish.Looking forward to that😳

It's pretty clear tat Sameer wont give up on Naina no matter wat n hes gona b Sameer Jai Prakash Maheshwari..Hes in state of shock himself,so it wil take time to get back to normal n think abt Naina.. He leaves a letter na for Naina ( spoiler pic).. the spoiler video which had Naina getin restless at night plays aft this..She sees him @ the busstop.. n she's clueless wat happened n where has he gone.. Wudnt Chacha n Tauji knw.. mayb they weren't in town too..I think she wil knw only whn shes in school..Cant imagine how shes gona react .. shel break down for not being by his side.. the whole of next week wil b an emotional ride for us all..
Sameer has such wonderful friends.. in the precap they were worrying tat Sameer n Naina didnt meet b4 he left..I think Ramdhari wil give nainas letter..Nivi did u notice Ramdhari was there durin the body procession.. tats how kind a person Nanu was n Sameer is gona live up to his name..

Randeep was jus fab .. so glad he got to play sameer, a role he can always b proud off

Anjali 🤗 hopefully you feel better with the track soon. Nanu is going to be missed terribly.

Ramdhari was there too 😲 oh Good.. I wish someone from the Agarwals are there too.. this news can't be unknown. Hope they show they show the principal, teachers all coming to pay tributes. I wish there is some detailing here.
