Kavi I like reading your posts because they are very logical and you ask valid questions. If you think your posts hurt others, then I guess mine did too...Problem with us...is we are expecting too much because we have grown up watchign very different kind of shows. We should lower our expectations. That is the only way to watch shows of desi sabun ki duniya. šŸ˜†

It's not that our expectations are unrealistic at all...what many of you like Nandy, Kavi ( hope I can call you that) are saying is absolutely reasonable...

The only problem is the constraint in the medium that needs to sell even as they harbour their creative ambitions... I have seen good tales fall prey to the vagaries of the medium and never reaching the potential they promised... if anyone watched EDKV they can tell how a lovely tale of teenage angst was squandered by the demands of the medium... so I would welcome any track that tries to marry the twin aims of delivering good content and staying afloat within reasonable rationale...I see the track of Nanu's departure as one such track.. it's not that I am stone hearted... au contraire... I haven't mustered the courage to watch the episode of yesterday.

Today, i cried watching the episode and now i feel like crying again while reading your post😭... Today's episode ws so brilliant that i can proudly say that i am a fan of this show.

Alvida nanu! That's what I want to say first... He's gone... Bt his memories will remain forever... The most memorable and beautiful character... Kudos to cv's for giving us a character like nanu... Hats off to kiran kumar sir for living this character...

Nanu was a mother for sam in true sense... Even on his deathbed he was thinking about sam... He was happy, relieved and satisfied while going ... He didn't have any complaints to god... His soul departed his body happily... He knows his sameer wont be alone... He knows sameer has his soulmate with him... He gave sam to vishakha... He knows his chota sameer is now grown up and can take responsibilities... The best fairwell any character could get... Again thanks to cv's for this.

Felt bad for vishakha today... This must be the third big loss she must be facing after her mother and first husband... She cried like a kid... Sam ws shocked and numb... I felt sam and vishakha were like siblings who lost their father... Vaishnavi ji ws brilliant.

I don't have words to express about randeep's acting... He lived sameer... The pain, the shock, the numbness ... He portrayed everything with perfection.

Munna, pandit and somani did their parts so well... As u said each and every character's expressions were perfect..

Precap... Are u sure they're going for asti visarjan? I thought they were going to delhi... Bt this makes more sense as to why sameer left without informing mundit.

Heya Simi

well said, the best kind of passing away for Nanu, all his loved ones by his side and passed his responsibility to his daughter and got a promise which he believes she will not break. He knows Sameer has it in him to become big and with the expectations he has told him he will fulfill everything .

I am guessing the asti visarjan, otherwise why will they go by bus to Delhi. Maybe afterwards they go to Delhi and Sameer is not aware, he might tgen realize that he didn't have a chance to say goodbye to M,P or Naina !

M and P are such an integral part of Sameer's life, it showed even more yesterday. They were included in this phase too.. I wonder how the separation will be on the boys.

What a tearjerker episode!

Nanu's words were so strong. And even when in his last breath, he did not forget Naina. Yesterday and today's episodes were well executed. The death scenes in soap world are usually OTT. But today i felt I am watching a desi show from the 90s when content used to be meaningful and acting used to be natural. I have memoery of only one movie of Kiran Sir as hero. Aaj Ki Taza khabar. It came on DD channel ages back. I had enjoyed it. It was comedy. But Kiran Sir never made it as lead in HIndi films. So he turned to negative roles which he always played so well. I am so thankful to the CVs for keeping Nanu's character so good from start to finish. šŸ‘

Aadmi musafir hai
Aata hai jata hai
Aate jate raste mein
woh yaadein chor jata hai...

Nanu ki yaadein humesha hum viewers mein zinda rahegi.

Coming to the scene, I liked Somani today. I think he was really genuine. He did keep his hand on Sam's shoulder. I hope it is not a loophole to be forgetten in future just like so many them have been forgotten. I hope it means Somani will try to be good to Sam. In the past Somani did want to take Sam to Delhi. Probably Somani is not that bad. We don't know how he speaks to Rohan and Deepika yet. May be he is like that with all kids...Let's see...

Vishakha.. I liked her acting. But sorry I don't feel anything for her now. She abandoned her own son to make her own life comfortable...How can she be called a good mother? Well she promised lot of things to Nanu. May be she will take care of Sam and get close to him in the process neglecting others And that negative daadi will be furious with her...and so Sam may leave Delhi...

Mundit...gems...ā¤ļø

Village scenes...I found them stupid today.

We are feeling so emotional jsut by watching Nanu's death on screen. Can you all imagine what Sumeet Mittal must have gone through in real life? HE lsot his mother, then his grandfather and then Chachiji...no wonder Shashi Mittal has been a rock for him and her family has always been there for him. 😭

Randeep should consider himself very lucky for getting this role. And he has not let Shashi Sumeet down. The remarkable improvement in his acting skills is an indication he will go very far...šŸ‘

And now to all the behenas of the thread...cheer up

Kahan tak yeh maan ko andhere chalenge
Udasi bhare din kabhi to dhalenge
Kabhi sukh kabhi dukh
yehi zindagi hai
yeh pathjhar ka mausam ghari do ghari hai
Naye phool kal phir dagar mein khilenge
udasi bhare din kabhi to dhalenge😊

Such lovely songs Rose !

I disagree about Somani. He had varied expressions. Yes, he kept his hand on Sameer's shoulder which was a very good gesture on his part. I feel he acted that way becasue that moment was like that. He might have been moved with the way Nanu was talking about Sameer and then the death, so somewhere he felt sad for Sameer at that moment. But, he will be back to his colors I think in Delhi. I can't forget how he called and got Sameer caught behind everyone's back. This guy can't have a change of heart just becasue of what Nanu said. Somewhere deep down his dislike for Sameer will come out.

I couldnt stop crying the whole way through, wishing till the last second for Nanu to recover.
I just... I still cant get over it. the scene was written so beautifully and every single actor in that room did full justice to this emotional episode. we knew it was coming, but we refused to believe it (me especially), everything was so realistic, the dialogues the expressions and nanus last words

The man was an angel, and this is what is so beautiful about this show, each character makes their own place in our hearts
couldnt fault anything, the scene broke my heart but it was the most perfect final scene I have ever seen on tv.

my family and I watched this together and the whole room was so quiet, eery no one spoke a word but u could tell that everyone was wishing that it wasnt true

kiran Sir thankyou for protraying Nanu perfectly, you werent just Sameers nanu, you were our nanu. and we'll all miss you ... 😭 😭

Hey Aqua.. Please let me know your name.. Weren't you a Newbie just few weeks back ? Congrats on becoming a Senior Member !

Nanu word itself is music to my ears. I just love the word Nanu that Sameer uses, it has so much love, laad, leniance, and all the realtionships that Nanu said he lived with Sameer
