Somani tries to stop Nanu from talking further ! Nanu doesn't care 'mujhe ek vachan do, Sameer ko meri kami kabhi mehsoos nahi hone dogi, aaj tak meine uske Nana hoke, maa ki tarah pala hai lekin ab tumhe uski maa hoke Nana ki tarah palna hai Vishaka.." This was so heavy...felt bad for Nanu here...he truly truly adores and loves Sameer...breaks my heart...

"iski muskiraahat bahut keemthi hai"😭😭...what followed after that...each and every dialogue, expressions, music was so perfect..."there sath ek zindagi mein kitne rishte jiliye hai maine"❤️❤️❤️...cant imagine Sameer without his nanu...

one thing that needs a mention is the Somani's shoulder tap...didnt expect that...at least he realizes the importance of Nanu in Sameer's life...

"Sameer Maheshwari se Jayprakash Maheswari ka beta"...the road to there is filled with so much pain..without nanu Sameer is incomplete...he has to raise thru that pain and emerge a winner...only with Munna and Pandit and Naina he will be able to do so...I have very very little hope on Vishakha...though she may take him with her to Delhi...I hardly doubt about the support Sameer would get from her...

Kiran ji will be dearly missed on the show...I very much enjoyed SMP and Nanu's scenes...Nanu and Sameer's talks...Nanu was a guiding star, pillar of strength...

Though the village scenes were fun to watch...I would have preferred them to be shown on a different da...hmmm...their english was fun to watch 😆😆...Preeti is so awesome!!!.."lota lelo"...2 boys hitting on her😃😃

Soumya

Although they study in Hindi medium, Naina and Preeti talking like that in English especially Naina in broken English was kind of .😕 They should still have English as a language in school.. right ?

Let's see about Vishaka. I am kind of confused on her atm. She abandoned Sameer to settle herself, that makes me mad on her. But, if she was helpless and a victim - back in those days it was hard for her to stand up for herself.

Nivi, why do you think it was 15 years? From Nanu and Vishaka's earliest conversations I assumed it to be more like 6-8 years... from what they spoke it appeared that Sameer knew his mother had married again, it appeared that he was going through a tough period himself then, he had taken this incident the hard way... so I assumed he was probably 11-12 years when Vishaka married. If he was a toddler he would not know much at that age...

Hi Nivi... we all survived the toughest episode till date. Loved what you have written. 👍🏼 Ironically today belonged to Nanu... GOODBYE NANU!

I think by far Nanu is the best character of this show... next to Sameer...what a personality! 👏
Nanu was a positive person...with a zeal for life...
was a forward thinker...who never shied away from doing what's right even if it meant breaking society norms
was a thorough gentleman... never a harsh word out of him, yet well respected in the society
was extremely rich, self made ... yet never proud of all that wealth, he always remained true to his humble roots (so many times he told Sameer he started with Rs. 20 in his pocket)
was an emotional man, yet never let emotions get the better of him, was always practical in his approach...
never raised his voice unless it was the last straw... yet made sure everyone in the room listened to him and followed him...

And just like he told Sameer, he was a grand-father, mother, friend, philosopher, guide, teacher, all rolled into one for Sameer...and he taught Sameer well. Because the Sameer today is a junior replica of this wonderful man...
GOODBYE NANU! You and your gentle, intelligent and endearing ways will me missed...

Welcome Sameer Jaiprakash Maheshwari! One day you will prove to be a worthy successor to this great man...this in a nutshell was what this track was all about...
It was not just for Sameer to mature some more... because Sameer had already matured with all that he experienced during the redemption track, Nanu himself had acknowledged that... Sameer had also found his soulmate, one that Nanu was proud of as well... so his life ahead was mapped out, with Nanu's blessings... he was now mentally ready to take on the responsibility of the business and Naina, but somewhere he still hesitated to embark on that journey... he wanted to remain a kid for some more time. And Nanu understood and was willing to give him that time... but Destiny had other plans for Sameer...

Nanu had to go for Sameer Jaiprakash Maheshwari to be born... as simple as that!
If Nanu was alive, there would be no successor as yet, no pressure for Sameer to be the Waris... to be the son this man wanted him to be. Because Nanu believes in his capabilities... he has seen something in this young man that goes beyond getting marks in school... i think in Sameer Nanu saw his younger self, what he was all those years ago... a bright eyed youngster full of life, who had big dreams of making it big, who had the drive to work hard towards his goal... In the redemption phase Nanu saw all this from Sameer and then some... that's why he was so proud to proclaim Sameer's greatness to Vishaka on the phone...😃

As Nanu said, these few years since Vishaka's remarriage that he spent with Sameer he has lived many roles... and so has Sameer... but now it was time for Sameer to accept his greatest role, one he was born to be... and none other than his role model could give him that... As Nanu said, Sameer often asked why he was not born as his son... and today Nanu made him that... his son, his successor... Nanu always fulfilled every one of Sameer's wishes... and in a twisted way he fulfilled this with of being a son too... also by doing this proclamation Nanu has now placed Sameer on par with Vishaka... hope i'm making sense? That;s how much faith he has n Sameer's abilities.

Well, as sad as it is to see this much loved character go... and as much as we feel that there could've been other ways to achieve this... let's accept the CVs vision for what it is... in the end its their story to tell.

Nivi... to the question you raised... my guess is that Vishaka re-married about 6-7 years, max 10 years back... maybe Sameer was about 7-10 years old then. I remember Nanu trying to explain once to her that her marriage has hit him hard... emotionally. All he needed was love and care, and attention to help him overcome that. Instead Vishaka (and Somani) always put him in hostels, and maybe holidays were with Nanu... I don't think he ever went to Delhi...

Initially Nanu must've thought this would give time for Vishaka to settle down, but as time went by he realized that this was a convenient for both of them to lessen their work... if you remember in the earliest episodes Vishaka was all about Rohan this, Rohan that... Even Nanu didn't like it one bit...So I think with the passage of time it became easier for Vishaka to just ignore Sameer's existence, she almost forgot how to be a mother to Sameer...

This is exactly what Nanu sternly told her and Somani today... even if they want to ignore his presence, Sameer was very much Vishaka's son and he deserved to get the same love and affection that she is bestowing on her other two children. Well said Nanu!👏👏👏 And I'm glad Somani heard it... what a slap to both of them to remind them they have been ignoring their duties... a gentle yet firm reminder that Sameer was not a villain in their life that Somani makes out to be at every given opportunity... rather whether he liked it or not, fact was he had married a woman who was a mother and that child also deserved to be treated as such... Whether Somani liked it or not, from now on Sameer belonged with Vishaka... what a parting gift Nanu! Hats off to you! 👏👏👏

Only both of them are going to be surprised at the gentleman Sameer has become... this rather rare gem of a person with a large heart... one who is sensitive, observant and intelligent... a poet... and one who has the capability to achieve all the dreams that Nanu has seen for him... I for one, am waiting to see this journey of discovery for all of them...

The village scenes were good by itself, but I didn't want to see so many of them today... I liked how Naina was trying her best to enjoy herself, yet her mind kept drifting back to Sameer... and that moment when Nanu blessed Sameer and bound the two together for life, she felt it. She felt as if Nanu was calling out to her... we will see more of that next week...

I'm glad Nanu mentioned Naina to him... as if telling him she's your other goal, my second wish that you need to fulfill... and blesses him for that too... so now nothing is going to keep them from reuniting at the appropriate time, and that time in marriage... also notice how that village lady blessed Naina at the same time...

Performance wise everyone was good... Kiran Kumar and Randeep excelled! Randeep, especially has improved tremendously since Mt. Abu and its a treat to see him ace tough emotionally draining scenes now... his fun scenes were good from the start and with the last track he had vastly improved in the romance department as well... and now this. 👏 That last part where he cries, then smiles through tears on Nanu's request, to that final shocked, stunned look at Nanu's still figure, he did it all with ease...

Aarti 🤗youwrite so well with so much ease. Awesome post !

One day, I hope we get to see Nanu proud of his son,Sameer Jaiprakash Maheshwari

I agree, Nanu has seen himself in Sameer many times that is why they have been able to connect so much.

Aarti, Sameer used to call Nanu as mummy Nanu mentioned once, why would a 10 yr old boy call Nanu as mummy. It must be much younger that like 4 or 5 yr old.
So, yeah atleast minimum 10-12 yrs back Vishaka must have remarried. And yes, she took the easy route, put him in hostels and forgot about him ! I just loved how Nanu reminded her about Sameer. Her expressions said it all. Somaniseemed guilty about it too..this guy really confused me today 😆

Why are the writers in such a hurry for leads to become mature and responsible? I dont want to hear its because Sameer's character is based on Sumeet Mittals.

Let them be children and enjoy their childhood. Education and related skills, extra curricular activities, character development should be their focus at this age. They have rest of their lives to work and struggle, get stressed and shoulder responsibilities.

Maybe first time in my life I cried watching a serial.

My heart went out to Sameer. Forget that this is a serial or just a story. Imagine this is real.

There is this boy whose whole world is his Nanu. For him, his Nanu is his father, mother, guide, philosopher, friend, sibling and today he lost that one person who meant the world to him.

I was thinking of this boy who lost everything today and cried for him.

Nanu made Vishaka promise a lot, but how much can she keep up that promise is what I am dreading to think.
Remember every time Sameer was blamed, Nanu stood by him like a rock. He knew that Sameer would never do anything bad intentionally. He had that kind of belief and trust in him.

Will Vishaka be able to trust Sameer like this?

I wish that Jayaprakashji heard once how so many people used to praise him during Pooja's wedding time. I wish he saw once how much he was adored by the Agarwal family (except Rakesh and Arjun)

It is so unfortunate that Nanaji had to die without seeing Sameer grow up to be a good human with a kind heart.

Acting wise, Kiran Kumar ka toh koi jawab hi nahin hain👏

Randeep, Vishaka, Munna, Pandit rocked.👏

Vishaka gave up on her child to build a new life. Not sure how justifiable this is. But I wish she had spent more time with her son and father too.

PS: I found the village scenes very annoying today. As stand alone Village side Romeo ka story and Toilet Ek Prem katha would have been funny, but not today.

Also the upload quality was not good right on the net. The background music during the death scene was very coarse and kind of made the dialogues less audible. Maybe direct telecast was better.

Kavi,

Vishaka always wanted to trust Sameer if not for Somani. I guess Sameer will go through a agni pariksha and she might see that Somani is biased also. I guess test for both Vishaka and Sameer here, how she will help Sameer from breaking down. I would like to see Vishaka as the one making the maximum efforts in fixing their relationship. Sameer deserves her effort. It cant be one sided like that Sorry. Sameer said Sorry for being angry but she dint have anything to tell him that she was sorry too for making the mistake of not recognizing him.

Good one Nivi!
The episode was really emotional! All the actors excelled in their scenes! Vishaka looked a bit embarrassed when Nanaji asked her to take care of her son! It's good that she herself mentioned she couldn't take nanu's place in sameer's heart! Nanu's death is really an emotional blow to Sameer and he has lot of challenges ahead! A new chapter is going to begin in his life!

I'm more worried about Naina who doesn't know anything about all these and now Sameer is leaving too! Her heart will break into pieces! Anyways let's see how they move their story forward!

Thank you 🤗 Glad you liked it... I had so many thoughts since yesterday, so today I finally have time to pen it down. 😊

Nivi... Nanu in his typical style delivered this biggest back handed slap to Somani... that guy always though he was too smart... not today. Loved how Nanu started by saying Sameer was innocent and weak from inside... and Somani felt proud that he was correct about Sameer, who he thinks is a loser... and immediately came the next part followed by the order to Vishaka to promise! 😆 It's like both of them didn't know what hit them! 😉 😆 And to top it all, when Vishaka promised, nanu says 'Good girl!' to her! 👏 As if telling them you both are the immature ones not Sameer... and see how I caught you both in your own game.

Actually this whole style reminded me of when Sameer defended Naina in front of Taiji during the mehendi... to start of giving a compliment only to turn it into a back handed one! 😆

But isn't it lovely to see that ll Nanu could talk about today was Sameer... to those two adults and to Sameer himself. So nice to see him treat Sameer as the more mature one among all those in that room... loved how he told him that he was his pride... and that firm grip on his shoulder signifying that he was his heir and the one who will carry him on those strong shoulders in his final journey.

As to time... let;'s settle at 10 years... so Sameer would've been a 7 year old when Viskaha remarried... still young enough to be missing his mother at nights, so maybe he used to call Nanu mummy at those times...

@bold - sorry Nandy, but that's exactly why ... again, its their story to tell...

And anyway, these kids are almost in 12th... everyone matures in that year, because everyone tries to figure out what they want to do in future... and if engineering is the goal, in that era atleast, kids had to start from 10th,me and so many of my cousins did that... so then they would've matured even before these kids in the show.

Also, I've seen a lot of business families where the boys usually started helping out in the family business from 10th... college education was not a must, but many did it... it would be more arts or commerce because they were in the business... so these kids matured as well by the time they made it to 12th...

So personally I don't see anything wrong in everyone wanting the leads to mature... and these two are in love, who want to marry one day... such kids definitely mature because they know they will ahve to settle down faster than their counterparts... hope I'm making sense?

Hello all. I've guests at home.. will not be able to watch episode till Monday.
Just trying to go through everyone's posts as much as possible. Seems like a fabulous episode. Will miss Nanu terribly.
Nandy , Kavita... Even I hated the fact that Nanu had to go. I was looking for various options for Nanu to stay... But I guess it's their story. I'm slowly coming to terms with that.

Just waiting to see how Naina becomes his strength.
So heartwarming to see Munna pandit be there for Sameer our telebahu.

Real life calling. Will catch your all later!!!

EDIT- Nivi. Don't bother t replying to this. I just came here aadat se majboor. 😆
