I rarely reply, but to your post I just had to! Reading you their entire journey just flashed in front of my eyes!
How beautifully you penned down their journey so far, and what they were and what they are now! My love for flawed characters goes beyond, because when onscreen we see them, we know they are like us, real! Portraying every lil nuance of them is just lovely. Randeep and Ashi doing such great job at it!
I dont know why I teared up reading you. I have been tearing up a lil too much recently, especially in this week's episodes. We have come so far in their journey. We always saw Naina being in love, adoring Sameer, his gifts, his shirt, his photo, etc etc. When I saw Sameer not washing his hands in yesterday's episode I was like WOW! This guy has changed! Sameer's transformation will always be one of my fav things in the show. And similarly, from Naina who washed her hands gazillion times after touching him in Mt Abu, to now not washing it, I felt again WOW! What a journey! Sameer truly won her! The way they have fallen for each other, is just beautiful, and every phase we have seen took its time, making them realise realities of life, made them grow, and once again with this new phase unfolding, they will again grow - Cant wait!!
You said Sameer was unaware of the realities of life but I still feel he had seen more than Naina. For Naina her world is her family, friends and now Sameer. But having grown up in hostels, Sameer has seen a lot more. He had more perspectives than Naina. When Sameer tried kissing her hand after Romeo-Juliet play, Naina had called him wrong. To which Sameer had replied something alone the lines of, "Jo tumse alag hai, zaroori nai hai ki woh galat hote hai" This said a lot about them as human beings. Like you mentioned Naina learnt this during the heartbreak phase that its okay to make mistakes, etc. But earlier when she hadn't her POV was lil closed, now its open (getting there, still a lot to see in life). But for Sameer, having seen many others in life, his experience was lil open.
And again, from holding her hands without her permission, to now, his hesitance, of doing the same, without her permission and giving her space and respect is just so beautiful. I know there's lot more for us to see, but still will remain one of my fav love stories. What a journey!
