I just read the news too.
Very very sad 😭

Such a huge loss to the film industry. And she was so young.

God give strength to the family to deal with this loss.

YUDKBH would not have been so special without her songs playing in the background.

Pooja Di's ''Chandni'' reference will always make us remember a little more than all other.

R.I.P. timeless beauty and talent Sridevi 😭😭

This is such a shocking news. She was so young and talented and had a good comeback with her recent movies. The industry has lost such a great actor. RIP

Totally shocked to say the least!
Sridevi has been a part of my growing days. No other actor could get closer to the fangirl craze I had for her right after her Mr. India days. It all began due to Hawa Hawai song. The chirpy song helped me identify a singer in me and I used to b requested to perform in other classes of my convent. There began a certain unknown liking, an attachment as if she was someone whom i knew close. Started buying magazines if there used to even a small article mentioning her. With not much media or net to express our fangiri, I used to have a separate book of her cut-outs. So much to add to the craze that when v owned a VCR...Mr. India was my 1st cassette and v repeated screened that movie for every guest those days.

She ruled those years in Bollywood and rightfully can b addressed the QUEEN of bollywood as even the Superstar Amitabh agreed to have her in a double role in Khuda Gawah. She rocked the screen with her acting prowess and proved she can enact any emoti on flawlessly and effortlessly.

It was her second innings...when Chandni earned her much deserved fandom for her new look. I remember watching Lamhe in theatre and it was surprising for me to c the wooow responses with her different looks on screen...such was the craze.

With English- Vinglish...it was her third innings to set the stage for some classy effortless talent again. She proved age is no bar for talent. Her performance spoke so much about her calibre in acting.

She has made me laugh, cry and emote with her...She has been and will always remain in my heart for indirectly being a part of my life and being an inspiring idol in terms of dedication and perfection. The songs which brought my voice closer to me was Hawa hawai and
Morni...hence nothing can b more memorable to me other than these 2.

With a heavy heart...i pray...may her soul rest in peace...!

A part of my childhood died today...rightly said by Priyanka Chopra

She was an imp part of a movie which I treasure the most from my childhood- Mr India
Nobody can even come close to enacting the song Hawa Hawai other than Miss Hawa Hawai herself ...R.I.P. Sridevi
