So shocking and heartbreaking news... Life is so unpredictable. this is why we need to cherish all that we have & are. Who knows what might happen tomorrow. She was absolute magic on camera...

RIP Legend...rest well...and u will be missed here greatly.

I was really shocked . She is just 55 years..She will be greatly missed. She had a great capacity to set the screen on fire...an absolute beauty..R.I.P

Inspiration to all the girls. We have lost a legend and a powerhouse of talent. It is really saddening to wake up to this news on a Sunday morning. My heart goes out to the family members.

I write this as her songs play in the background. Utterly saddened and upset.

All d Chandni references from d show came in my mind..mere hathon mein n tere mere hothon pe, both these songs were ringing in my ears!!

It has been really shocking, sad and scary.

54 is too young to die.

If we are so shocked, can't imagine how grief-stricken her daughters and husband will be!

I mean I still can't believe she is no more. And, with her part of my childhood is lost forever. Which 80's kid does not have fond memories of Mr India?

When by 90's Madhuri arrived and team Madhuri and team Sridevi started forming, I was staunch Sridevi supporter.

And, what a comeback she made with English Vinglish! A critique had rightfully said that Sridevi was an acting institution herself!

YUDKBH revived so many memories of the time.

It is scary as well. She was healthy and fit. I guess time waits for none.
