Yes. I saw that!
I felt it was a mixture of pity and disbelief that someone would choose to destroy his life because he cannot face his father's pressure...

And I also think he understood because he has walked in the same shoes when his Mom always compared him to Rohan. He knows what it feels like to be pressured to perform. But I think there was also a resolve to help Arjun because he really understood...
