Pandit calls Preeti sipahi ki behen, indirect reference like Munna calls Swati Pandit 😆

Their first ever scene giving some hint to the viewers that they might happen was in the casette shop scene during Sameer and Naina fight

I think they are doing it for drama. In real life even on 90s, I don't think people in cities would have gone and asked their neighbors to throw their daughters out. What they would have done is to boycott the family. It's ok if Tau and Tai boycott MEgha's parents. But to ask her parents to throw their daughter out...I mean seriously who gave them the right to say that.
I am also quite disturbed with the fact that this Rakesh keeps slapping Sameer. Raising hand on someone else's child is certainly not 90s...nanu should protest. Rakesh can use his mouth to curse Sameer. But rasing his hand on Sameer is crossing all limits.😡

@ Blue: I totally agree yar... If it was now... There would be a case put on him for sure! N teachers like that deserve that who think first way to teach sm1 discipline is by hitting them... These ppl havnt heard of Saam, daam, dhand , bhed... First use Saam and daam b4 cmng to dhand... They are young after all, they will learn with the first step itself... Dhand if at all used should be reserved for really extreme cases only...🥱

But yeah one thing is there, even late 90s teachers did slap students for far more less things... I hv been slapped for the most silliest thing ever!! It was that I forgot to bring some dress of mine that sm other class teacher wanted me to give it to some gal in her class for a function and that too the function was 2 days away... I cud hv brought it the nxt day, but nah, she went straight ahead and gv me a slap! I was in 4th std and dint even knw what was happening! 😆 No one ever slapped me before or after that, thank god! 😆 But yeah, i dint understand it was wrong bk then and was simply sitting in my class with finger marks!😲😆 My class miss noticed and since i was a teacher's pet😉, instead of me fighting, she took me along with her to fight with the other teacher who was actually her friend for me! Well then she told me sorry and all... bcm a total spectacle! 😆

Anyways that aside, I think we all are forgetting that this is not the 90s mentality they are showing in the shw but 70s and 80s...That is I'm talking abt Naina and Sameer... meaning If they are 16 yrs in 1990, they must hv been born in 1970s! And grown up in 1980s, so technically they are 80s kids... Elders might hv been actually 40s and 50s generation... I mean just bcz they entered to 1990 doesn't mean suddenly everybdy is gng to hv 90s mentality... They will still be having the 50,60 or 70s and 80s mentality they lived before that year...So I guess during those times, sadly teachers like Rakesh Sir were a common feature... Nyways thank God times have changed now...
