Absolutely agree. Her opinions do matter to him more than he realizes. Although he keeps giving it a name "bet"...but somewhere deep down inhis heart, he has developed special feelings for her. He may not realize its love at present. But when Naina hears about the bet and starts to ignore him, he will miss the care and the affection she had showered on him.
The way these scenes are being shown reminds me of my college years. I belong to Naina and Sameer's generation and I have felt and seen all these happeneing during those years. There was purity, innocence and genuiness then which is missing now...The Voice over lines of Naina are so aptly written . I am sure everybody in this forum who went to college in the 90s are having a trip down the memory lane.

I am happy to see that so many kids of today's generation are appreciating our days.

Sameer k expectations se kafi different h Naina..she nvr fails to amuse him

Touching ko abhi time hai mere Dost...who knows we mite get them boating hand in hand in Nakki lake😆...Sonchne mei kya jaata hai!😳... Though this scene was very subtle but it had the undercutrents of intimacy...😳

Meher, I was waiting for this ...I knew you would pic this up...
I agree with you ...I loved the way ...he came and made his presence felt by just holding the railing..and she understood he was there...she didn't think there was a need to see his face ...
What made me thinking is ...why did he come to her asking if she liked his talent with the mouth organ...a lot people think that he was trying to make her jealous...but I felt he wanted to know her opinion...he wanted her appreciation ...he wanted her attention and above all wanted to know if she liked him play a musical instrument...
I loved her answer , she said he played the instrument well but thought he would look good playing a guitar...which means that he is good with music but she did rather see /prefer him with guitar...and his smile after listening to it was because he felt their likes were kind of the same...he preferred guitar...if you remember when he was upset , he played guitar and not mouth organ...
Naina is like his guitar gives him a sense of wellbeing and peace during his troubled moments in life...he was happy that they shared the same feeling abt his interest in music...and he slowly leaves getting a satisfied answer...
He is not able to keep away from her...but he doesn't seem to realise it...I want to see a possessive Sameer than a jealous one. The reason "being jealous" is a feeling...and it can change over a period of time and doesn't mean that when a person jealous , that person need to fight to get whatever he/she desires for ...
Where as possessiveness is a behavior that you see in a person when he/she is not willing to share what he/she believes is his/hers. A spouse is always possessive and not jealous...most people misinterpret that the man/lady is J seeing their spouse talking to their friends...its not jealousy...its possessiveness as they are not willing to share love/attention/care etc of their spouse with any one else .

So I want to see a Possessive Sameer than a jealous one...I hope our CV blesses us with such a scene.

Thanku Rose for commenting ...i see u first time in my post...n its a delight seeing u here...😃

Yes her opinions do matter to him ...wat she thinks about him is what he is interested to know...Her attention is one that he craves for...despite he came running for NAINA inthe bus so that she can smile n be joyous in the journey...its he ..himself too that was desperate to meet her...he.cant bear the distance between them...So in a way hes more restless out of the two...!! Naina is still patient in love whereas he is the impatient one...!

N i do agree abt how simple n innocent our lives were then...i was in my 4th std in 90 but still those memories are vivid in me...!! The aura of that period was smething else ... truly...miss them!

Wow..Ashu..!👏 hats off to u for voicing it more aptly n precise as to what i wanted to write it out...Yup i do feel its her presence ,opinions that matters to him...n thats y when he had tat ample time to spend with his friends or submerge in any other timepass...Hes dragged to that very centre where his heart resides...to that very gal whom he makes him feel complete n special...U know the longing to be loved n that exactly he finds that inner peace with her...Wat she thought of him is important to him...whtr she liked, njoyed is crucial n others stand secondary to him...!Yes i do remember the guitar n it clicked to me very much here when one forumite mentioned it...So i do go with urs n her logic...He smiled cos he was amazed n happy that this gal knows him much better deeply than anyone must have understood him...that hers interest is similar to him ...n unknown to her ,he does know to play it...So he had that satisfying smile!

I loved how u bought the possesive edge ..n yup definately this is the only thing mny of us are awaiting...!Sam is very much a passionate guy who is willing to go extra ahead for his frends n ppl whom he considers his life...So posessiveness is instilled in him when it comes to his near ones...n when it comes to his love, A guy who has been deprived of motherly love or any sort of affection...Will he let that gal go away who has been showering n bestowing the WORLD to him..There will be pursuance n very much right to possess her...!

Totally agree. Life was much simpler. We did not have gadgets. No cell phone, no ipad..computers were only thre in some schools. That too groups of students huddling near one computer...no lap tops either...when we wanted to talk to friends, we actually met in person. No social media. No cyber bullying...and love was as in aptly described..."yeh un dino ki baat hai jab ishq mein padna achha lagta tha"...I have seen Sameer Naina type love stories in my college...and then came those movies..QSQT, MPK, Dil, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, HAHK...etc..

On another note, Randeep , Ashi and the entire gang of kids deserve big applaud...being kids of today's generation, they are portraying kids from my generation so well...they are so natural...I am loving everything about this show...😊👏
