The cute moments and subtle scenes of attraction is definitely loved in the show. At the same time I hope and wish to see Sameer and Naina getting to interact on a personal level. The timeline of the 90s doesn't create a situation where Naina/Sameer get to be alone with each other having some real talk and moving ahead in their relationship from all the attractions and infatuations. Still would love to see where Sameer gets to see the simplicity and caring and honest nature of Naina. He is falling for it unconsciously yet some concrete assessment on the matter. Also Naina getting a peak into Sameer beyond his Prince Charming image. The bet issue will get revealed soon which would pull them apart. But before that they have to become a lot closer to create the impact of loss from both sides. Specially since the bet issue is one high point of their arc. I hope the writers have a substantial romantic track ahead of us.

Yes, I definitely want them to connect on a personal level before he "wins" or "loses" the bet. I feel like this show is slightly slow in pace but nevertheless very entertaining.

Yes, I can only hope that the creatives do justice to their love story. Otherwise, the impact just won't be there once Naina finds out about the bet. As he gets to know her, Sameer should struggle with the idea of going through with the bet. And Naina should get to know more about his family dynamic. I am curious to see how and if this will all play out over the next few weeks.

I've been contemplating the same. The last show I watched that had a track similar to this was MJHT. Similar situation of a bet between male lead and his friends. However, the situation was better handled there due to the fact that the era was much more modern. No nosy relatives and all. 😆 Also, the interactions between Gunjan and Samrat were much better given their maturity level. If I recall correctly, he helped her build confidence and that track took a month or two and she helped him during the exams which was also a long track. My main point is that they had a lot of conversations and interactions and they went on to be friends for more than 6 months before any confession of love. I hope it's handled the same way here too because I personally don't believe Naina is in love. It's just a crush/infatuation so far. She has yet to see who Sameer really is. As for Sameer, he really needs to start learning from his mistakes or at least shown to contemplate on his actions. He comes across to me as egoistic and immature which is largely due to neglect from his parents. Both have a lot of growing up to do and they need more personal time together which is really hard when they're constantly surrounded by nosy grown ups. 😆 This show is really lovely and has great potential but like you said we need more conversations between Naina and Sameer instead of background music all the time. Even when Naina tutored Sameer, instead of any lengthy and meaningful conversation we were given background music with constant eyelocks. Hopefully the play will give them the excuse to have some alone-time together without Naina having to lie just to meet up.

Well said. I also agree that the 90's setting and young age of the main leads are the reasons why there have been so few interactions between Sameer and Naina so far. Also, I think the creatives are trying to make the point that falling in love in those times was more simplistic. That being said, for this to be a memorable show, it still is necessary for them to interact much more than they have been. I agree that they missed a good opportunity during those tutoring sessions - there could have been some initial conversation there. I hope to see them discovering more about each other in the upcoming episodes, as that would really take the show to another level.

That's true..
And I'm sure they will have conversations..

Like someone mentioned here that naina has a crush or infatuation on Sameer and it is not love yet because she has based her feelings on a few interactions she had with him and she didn't know the entire truth.. like the shoes story both the times..one was co incidence and the other Sameer himself the culprit.. but she thought it otherwise..
She still has to see his real face.
Whereas Sameer he is in his own world of ego and attitude and thinks coz of his good looks and money no girl can reject him..

In his immature zid of the bet he is ignoring a very large and important part that he is playing with an innocent's feeling.. though as of now he doesn't think that she is innocent.

There is no guilt in him right now because as said they have hardly interacted..

Once he starts to know her better he will get that guilt feeling too..

Also having said that they don't talk but only bg music and eye locks.. so I think it is because of that generation..
It was not easy for a boy and girl to talk to each other on personal levels..
Mostly there was only staring session going on😆

They are in their teens so they probably dont interact much at the personal level...more so bcoz its the era of 90s where a boy and girl together was not a common thing...so they wont be showing that for sure...but yes they will need time to actually know each other inside out as a person😊
Naina is in her fantasy world and Sameer is overburdened with his good looks😆

Waiting for the day when she comes to know of the bet and that Sameer was doing all this just for a bet...😊😳

Yes. It's definitely entertaining. But to pace is quite slow ,yes . We get a lot of events. But they just add more entertainment rather than move it forward. :/

I know. This maha khulasa should be very impactful to both of them emotionally. Specially its definitely needed for Sameer to be in a dilemma regarding the bet. And so YES man. I'm getting impatient waiting here for Naina to somehow know about Sameer's family a bit. It is such a thing that its bound to bring them closer. I've quite a lot of expectations from Sameer's family dynamic. Naina will be that stability in Sameer's life.
