To bring fans

Judging by data

She has failed

And this has to go on her CV as a flop

Otherwise

If it was just a music show

And host did not matter

They could have taken avantika hundal

Or aditi or Krishna

Host of the reality show is chosen carefully as they do attract viewers.

For eg : Salman is being paid highly as the makers are aware that whatever contestants they are getting , it is due to Salman mostly and no one else is currently fit to take his legacy forward.

Moreover if you see WKV always Garner's more TRP than the normal episodes.

Same goes for other reality shows, these days a popular host is chosen to attract viewers and if they fail to do so, they are also accountable for the show being flop irrespective of the content.

Anchors are paid a bomb depending upon their popularity .

Sometimes a show runs only because of the anchors.

For eg : this season khatron ke khiladi.

The stunts of this season was not too good , nor were the contestants but it still was No.1 due to Rohit and Bharti's comedy which made the show fun to watch.

Hence, sometimes content fails but it is the anchors duty to make it a little entertaining so that atleast his / her fans watch the show.

The best actress jury award was given to body double actress and then it is justified by saying she has 10 million followers! If this ludicrous logic is coined to defend (jury considers sm followers as a criteria)...then there will be kuch bhi logic thrown at us to justify anything.

Like months long BDs are justified. It's only when Raman's BD started to occur, some people have found voice to condemn and demand explanation.

Sorry I beg to differ. Hosts/narrators are not some random guys. The success or failure of the show heavily depends on them. Without AB, KBC is nothing. Without Salman, Bigg Boss is nothing same goes for KKK without Rohit Shetty or Manish Paul without Jhalak Dikh La Jaa. NB5 and NB6 were the most loved seasons of Nach Baliye and a big credit goes to the host duo Karan (Wahi) and Gautam. NB hadn't clicked after the duo left.

Hence, hosts/narrators are the face of their show. Can you imagine Crime Patrol without Anup Soni? The answer would definitely be a big no. Gumrah was sinking, they made KP its host/narrator for Gumrah 5 for 5 months. Heavily relied on KP, put his face on the montage. It became a huge hit and lasted for 1.5 years instead of just 6 months-the longest running season of Gumrah 1-5. It would continue or come back with new season, had the channel v shut its shop.
