It is very hard to gain popularity and once you have it dont take it for granted. They dont take criticisms to improve but hold it against fans..one verbally and one silently. And both in actions they take.

Just like SP, ekta is using popularity for webseries.

Without Salman, Bigg Boss is nothing same goes for KKK without Rohit Shetty or Manish Paul without Jhalak Dikh La Jaa. NB5 and NB6 were the most loved seasons of Nach Baliye and a big credit goes to the host duo Karan (Wahi) and Gautam. NB hadn't clicked after the duo left.

Hence, hosts/narrators are the face of their show. Can you imagine Crime Patrol without Anup Soni? The answer would definitely be a big no. Gumrah was sinking, they made KP its host/narrator for Gumrah 5 for 5 months. Heavily relied on KP, put his face on the montage. It became a huge hit and lasted for 1.5 years instead of just 6 months-the longest running season of Gumrah 1-5. It would continue or come back with new season, had the channel v shut its shop.

Sometimes, all that happens here is DT bashing. I am as much a DT fan as a KP fan. But these dumbos here are forcing me to make myself look like a DT fan. 😆

I am so happy that people here had so much expectation from DT as a host that she is being compared with AB and salman and Rohit shetty here who have created a franchise of their own as hosts. Its a big achievement for Dt to begin with. Also i wish star would have realised it and would have promoted it as her show instead of Rehman's they might have got more TRP. It was solely promoted as Rehman's show and never was DT made a face of the voice neither does she appear on montage unlike another singing show host Ravi Dubey who got exclusive promo as a comeback host for little champs and that show is also not fetching trp of more than 1. Also 10m fans are across the globe and not just restricted to India so obviously they r not counted in Indian TRP even if they watch the sbow. The talent isnt bad on the show but singing shows dnt fair as well in india as they used to indian idol being exception this year may be because they came after a break and because of its leneage as its a pioneer of singing reality shows in india. Voice was never a hit as it used to air on &Tv so if it gets trp of 1 which is equivalent to its competition on zee its not a failure for star technically! And DT was hardly seen in blind auditions and the episodes werent properly edited and Rehman is absent from last 5/6 episodes for reasons best known to the chaneel and PH so these might have put people off. Blaming the failure on host is the most absurd thing as the channel never meant to cash on her popularity as Ishita in the first place if they would have they atleast would have had her promo to attract viewers which they didnt also since channel exhausted all their money on kzk2 promotions they didnt promote the show well so all these factors count as well in judging the sucess and failure of the show.

As much as we all want to believe in face value of these stars, typical TV audience don't like to see their favs in other roles. They like DT as Ishita and KP as Raman. So even if they do something else on some other show, there is no guarantee that people would watch it.

Second, KBC has had flop seasons as well even when the host was Amitabh. Recent BB was also a failure despite it being hosted by Salman. Do is it make these hosts failures?! Not entirely.

You are proving my point that the host is not enough to make people watch the show, Thank you for that.

Even I am a big DivAn fan. But me being their fan did not make me watch their individual shows because I just don't care. Though I'd wish them both all success outside of YHM, frankly when YHM ends I wouldn't care much about what they do unless they do something together.

So yeah, shows cannot run just based on hosts' popularity.

Those who shoot day n night they aren't doing free they're getting paid handsomely if trp is not adequate or their look not up to mark pol will comment n few females spamming on Twitter ain't gonna deter anyone only will egg them in to block n continue further n why in yhm shooting hard working souls used bd when so hardworking they r 🤣 😳
