Thank you for the wonderful response you have to given to this story.. so here is the next part of the story..

Part 12:

Ishita: I don't know raman

Raman: come on madrasa, you must have some idea..

Ishita thought for a minute: Don't laugh, i want it to be a mixture of both cultures. I want roka, i want mehendi, i want haldi and i want sangeeth, at the same time i want appa to keep me in his lap and do kanyadaan, and pooja in the temple in the morning and engagement in tamilian culture wise. I told you it's a big list, and impossible to satisfy everyone

Raman was silent for few minutes, when ishita asked what are you thinking, find some solution otherwise we have to do court marriage, and asked him to see, where their families fighting over their marriage.

Raman sighed and said you need to explain to me what you do in your engagement ceremony.

Ishita explained to him all the rituals

Raman ok then, you have to tell me what are all the ceremonies you have before the wedding

Ishita we don't have pre wedding rituals like mehendi and all, we have different rituals on the marriage day.

Raman: replied ok, so here is the plan, tell me if you agree to it or not ok

On the engagement day, we will have your early morning pooja, don't know how my family will manage, in the evening after tamil ceremony , we will do roka, a simplified version and exchange rings, then 2 days before the wedding we will start with mehendi, and sangeet, then haldi and marriage in tamil style ok

Ishita: that's perfect , and i like it

Raman: now let's go and save our ruhi from these mad people, and explain to them our plan

They broke their families fight and ishita scooped ruhi into her arms, thinking she might have been scared seeing everyone fight instead she was eating snacks and enjoying their fight, you are a pakka punjaban right? To that ruhi nodded and continued eating..ishita couldn't resist and started kissing her all over..ruhi stopped eating and started laughing.

Raman said: what is this all of you, you let a 5 year old see all this fight between her grandparents and family. She must have been so hurt by your behavior, immediately ruhi changed her face expression to sad and literally ready to cry, this left ishita shocked.

She has to handle these two nautanki's daily,don't now how she will manage, but she is looking forward to it.

She asked ruhi, did papa teach you to do that..

Ruhi nodded papa doesn't like fighting, if he can't stop fightings at home he asks me to cry so everyone will forget their fight and will be worried about me.

Ishita: Your papa is too smart. Ruhi nodded in yes

Raman: ok now please listen, ishita and i want this marriage to be a mixture of our cultures.we are going to be one family,can't we please try to adjust.

He then explained his solution, everyone agreed, toshiji added chudi chadana and kalide ceremony.amma also agreed, as they agreed for all the tamil rituals, she doesn't mind doing some punjabi ones.

Raman: so everyone agrees right. Papa and appa... me and ishita will talk to the wedding planner tomorrow, she is my friend. I think she can manage to do this wedding.

Everyone decided they will make plans separately and once raman and ishita talk to wedding planner, they will meet and finalize everything.

Bhalla's house:

After coming from the ishita's house, everyone gathered in the hall and started with the plans and how everything should be done, he knew it doesn't go anywhere because everyone has a different opinion.

Raman went to his room to talk to his friend and ask if she is available tomorrow, and he set up a time to meet her.

When he was about to leave, he saw that his siblings gathered in his room waiting for him to complete the call.

Raman: what are you guys doing here.

Mihir: we want to meet bhabhi, everyone nodded in agreement

Raman: you just saw her only few mins back, you want to see her again?

Simmi: no bhai, we didn't talk to her at all, everyone was busy, and you were always talking to her, we never got a chance to talk to her properly.

For this also everyone nodded, Raman laughed at them: what do you want to do now, she is in the opposite house only, go and talk to her.

Mihir: no, you owe us a party, give us a party along with bhabhi, then we can spend sometime with her, and tell her all your embarrassing stories.

Raman: after you said all that, you think i would give you all a party, and bring her there.. You lost your brain, if you think i would do that..

Rinki: please bhaiyya, i want to meet her.. Please

Romi: haa bhai, please agree to this, it's all for fun..

Raman thought for sometime and agreed: ok, i will give a party, but it will be here only, I will order dinner and we can all enjoy on the terrace and probably her sisters will come too. It will be good to know them too right, he gave a knowing look at mihir, who blushed, but nodded : yes bhai, invite them too

Raman: what about ruhi, she will feel bad if we leave her with mama,papa

Romi: bhai, let her come, she goes to sleep early anyway, we will party until late, so it's fine

Raman: ok i agree for the party right, now go..

They nodded no

Raman gave an exasperated sigh, now what?

Mihir: call bhabhi, we want to know if she says ok or not

Raman with clenched teeth: I will do that once you guys leave the room

But they are his siblings, they nodded no, we want to listen, call her

Raman called ishita, he put it on speaker: Hi ishita

Ishita: Hi, what happened? raavan kumar calling me ishita? Not madrasan

Raman thought she found it this is the right time to flirt, my pagal madrasan: ishita, listen, do you have any plans for the evening

Ishita got all flustered because, she realized they were listening to their conversation, hi everyone

Raman: sorry ishita, my siblings don't have any manners, they want to meet you, so do you mind joining us tonight for dinner

Raman: yes, you can invite bala, vandu, sharavu too,.. And my cute half gharwali too

Ishita laughed: I will ask amma appa, if they don't mind, we will join you. Where are we going

Raman: nowhere, here only, party is at the terrace, probably 7.30 pm, talk to amma, appa and let me know ok or else these people will not let me live peacefully..

Raman turned to them, are you guys happy now, she might be running away from our crazy family.

Romi: we are not crazy, just noisy

Iyer's:

Ishita has been busy in talking to her colleagues and boss about adjusting her work schedule for the following weeks. Everyone in the family was busy in planning things and making lists..

After raman's call, she told them what he planned for the evening.

Vandu and miku immediately agreed, that will be fun, don't worry ishita, we won't let them tease you..we will control them, you don't worry.

Around 7 pm, ishita called raman to find out if they need any help in setting up the party.

Raman: No need, we will manage it, food is ordered, just bring yourself, that's all important for me.

Even though raman said not to bring anything, Ishita made kheer hoping they would like it.

Around 7.30 they all went upstairs, to see it's set up beautifully, with all the seating arranged in a u shape and a table is set with all the food and the light strings are arranged too,it was a cozy setting.

Ruhi shouted: mumma... and went to hug her and everyone looked at her direction and said bhabhi...

Ishita blushed at their enthusiastic greeting, and wished everyone..

Raman saw her when ruhi called ishita, the sight before him was so beautiful, she was clad in a beautiful green saree, which he selected for her and she left her hair open,just a small bindi, to complete her look, simple and beautiful that's his madrasan..

Rinki: come bhabhi, sit with us and made place for her..

Ishita looked at raman, he shrugged to say he can't help

After everyone settled ishita was sitting between rinki and simmi, while raman was sitting between her sisters getting grilled by them..

Romi, simmi, rinki and mihir started asking her questions about herself and telling her some fun stories from their childhood

Raman was experiencing the same kind of questions from her sisters and jiju. Ruhi and sharavu got bored of their discussions and went to play.

After sometime, they had their dinner, ruhi was happily fed by both her parents.

Mihir: bhai, there should me some dessert to complete this meal

Vandu: it's there, see that container, it has kheer, ishita made.

Mihir: thank you bhabhi, we get to enjoy your cooking and started serving kheer for everyone

When he was about to eat, simmi said: wait, mihir, let bhai eat it first, his fiancee made it for him, he has the right to eat it first. Isn't that right bhabhi?

Ishita blushed, but replied quietly: it's not like that simmi, i made it for everyone.

Simmi: ohh ok bhabhi, but i will still ask my bhai to taste it.. Taste it bhai

Raman took a bite: it's very good ishita..

And everyone agreed with him, and had second helpings too. Ishita felt happy, that they enjoyed her cooking.

After completing dessert, they started playing cards, everyone was having fun, making fun of their brothers and sisters, but good fun.. Raman already won 2 rounds,when ruhi was trying hard to stay awake, raman noticed that: you guys continue playing, i'm going to take ruhi down,to make her sleep, she is ready to fall asleep any minute. Ok.

They all said ok, come soon, raman sent a text to ishita "come downstairs in 10 mins, give them some reason and meet me

Ishita: "why?

Raman: "Do what i said madrasan, please?

Ishita: "ok

Raman took ruhi downstairs and changed her into night clothes and tucked her into his bed and informed toshiji: maa, ruhi just slept off, i'm going to join them, just keep an eye on her.

Toshiji: you go and enjoy, we will take care of her

Raman took his car keys and wallet and left the house, ishita was waiting for him downstairs.

IShita: what raman? Why did you ask me to come now? What will they think?

Raman: please come with me without asking anything? You trust me right?

Ishita nodded and followed him, he just ran to his car pulling her and opened the door for her and said: sit quickly and buckle up

Ishita looked at him confusingly : why? What's happening raman?

Raman didn't reply her, but started his car and drove away from their apartments.. Ishita was completely confused and kind of scared, thinking something might have happened

Ishita: raman? Did something happen? You are scaring me?

Raman turned to her and laughed: you didn't see them, they followed you downstairs, that's why we ran to avoid them, it was fun right? Running from all our siblings.. I wanted some alone time with you...

Ishita: raman!! They will not leave us, let's go back..

Raman: no way!! Let me spend sometime with my fiancee, i didn't even get to talk to you for 5 mins from last 2 days.. I missed my ishu..

Ishita blushed: raman, i missed you too, but what about them, they are not going to leave us, they will tease us nonstop..

Raman shrugged: they will do that anyway, we need to give them stuff to tease us about. While they think of all the ways to do that, i get to spend time with you right?

Ishita laughed: yes, that they do, so where are we going

Raman: nowhere, i just wanted to get out of there, we can go for a drive or whatever you want to do

Ishita excitedly: let's go for ice cream

Raman: this late ishu.., you will get sick

Ishita : no i won't get sick, it will be fun, and when we go back,we can buy ice cream for them too, so they will cool down

Raman: that's a nice idea madrasan, let's go

Raman parked near a store and ordered ice cream for them to go, they picked up their order and started walking ( it's kind of quiet place not that much traffic and the weather is nice with some cool breeze)

Ishita: this is really nice raman, try it, she offered him a bite

Raman: no way i'm eating that flavor, i'm good with mine

Ishita made a sad pouting face, ok baba, give it, i will taste it, raman had it and made a funny face and said are you happy

Ishita nodded happily, raman: now try this, he offered her a bite, she liked his ice cream, i want this raman, will you switch with mine..

Raman: no ishu, you ordered you have to eat that

Ishita: i will eat that too,and continued eating, sometimes eating from his too..

Ishita: this is really nice raman,

Raman: what ice cream?

Ishita shook her head: ice cream is fine, but us, spending time like this

Raman wrapped his arms around her shoulders, yes, so tell me , what did you think about my siblings? Will you be able to handle them?

Ishita laughed: they are your siblings, if i can handle you and our daughter, then everything is a piece of a cake..

Raman: acha.. Do i trouble you a lot

Ishita nodded: but i like you troubling me so, don't stop that

Raman dropped a kiss on her head, i like troubling you too..

They spent a nice time just talking about everything and getting to know each other and learning about the silly stuff they do. They reached a empty street with very little light, it's not complete dark or bright, giving them a sense of being all alone. Raman came to a stop and pulled his phone and selected a song and turned to ishita, with holding his hand, may i have this dance please?

Ishita: what ? now raman?

Raman simply nodded: come on, nobody's there, just for few minutes.. Please madrasan

She place her hand into his and they started dancing for the song Janam janam (dilwale movie)

Finally when the song ended, they still continued to dance, both lost in each others eyes and there is no need for any words, expressing all the love they feel for each other in that moment, their trance broke when a bike honked at them and they pulled away blushing..

Raman ruffled his hair, i'm going crazy and looked at ishita, who is turning red from blushing so much or may be because of the cold. He thought to break the tension, so hugged her from side and continued walking back to the store: It was fun right, we should do it often..

Ishita nodded: yes, it was fun..

Raman: from tomorrow we will have work, and will be busy with wedding plans but let's plan to spend some time with each other

Ishita: ok, i will try

Raman: do one thing, i will plan something to do for tomorrow night, we won't go anywhere unless , it is what you want, but next day you have to come up with something you want to do as a couple.. Ok

Ishita : why all this? We can just talk like we normally do

Raman: looked at his innocent fiancee, madrasan... are you sure you are old enough to marry me

Ishita: what kind of question is that

Raman: because, nowadays teenagers also understand some romance, it seems you don't, i'm trying to give us a chance to get to know each other as a couple, and enjoy this time from engagement to marriage..and you are asking me why? What do i do with you

On the way back home, they picked ice cream for everyone. The moment they reached their apartment and parked the car, they noticed their siblings are waiting for them..

Raman : don't worry, i will handle them. Follow my lead ok..

Ishita nodded yes

Raman: hi everyone, see what we bought for you guys, we got ice cream for everyone

When they remained silent, raman: ok if you don't want it, then ishita and I will enjoy, he held his hand out to ishita, come ishu.. We will enjoy all these flavors..

They are barricading the steps, so raman and ishita can't enter the apartments..

Raman sighed, ishita was looking at him, what do we do now: what do you want, if you don't let us go now, these will melt.. Do you really want to waste a good ice cream..really??

Mihir,romi,rinki,simmi,mihika,vandu and bala came close to discuss ,and they sent mihir to get the ice cream

Ishita got shocked with raman's talent, what did she do,he looked at her and signed for her to follow his lead, and showed her to give them what they ordered for her

Ishita took a minute to come out of the shock raman gave, and did as he asked, she remembered everything he ordered for whom, when she did it correctly everyone felt happy

Ishita: it's ok, we should have told you before leaving

Raman: yes, but then it wouldn't have been a surprise right? Now enjoy and go to sleep, we have to go to work tomorrow, they allowed ishita and raman to leave

The moment they reached their apartments, they both burst into laughter

Ishita: you are really impossible, how do you come up with these stories

They missed that, everyone of their siblings noticed that and understood their plan and while they are happy for their brother and bhabhi, they decided not to leave the duo for making them fools..
