Hello darlings

Finally here with an update of this story, harshu was behind me to start this one since ages and finally I am here with an update, hope you guys enjoy

SHOT 1

Her beauty sleep broke hearing the loud music. She made irked faces in sleep and covered herself with the duvet from head to toe, closing her ears trying her best to keep the noise away from herself but that was just impossible. Sighing in irritation, she kicked the duvet away and her eyes fell on her sister who was busy with her workout oblivious of the world. She thought of something for a moment before she got up and turned the music system off. Her sister gave her a deadly glare but she just made a puppy face at her and moved back to her bed wanting nothing but sleep for a while, hoping the puppy face of hers would melt her sister. But the moment she hit the bed, she heard the same annoying music playing in her ears, louder this time.

I -aghh ishika

Shouted a twenty three years old ishita at her twin sister who again got busy with her workout, ignoring her completely. Marching towards her angrily, she again turned off her music system earning herself a glare from ishika who turned it on again, raising the volume.

This continued until their mother, madhavi had to walk in the room irked by the loud noise of the music.

M -enna ishika, what is this?

She said turning off the music system making ishita give ishika a victory smile while ishika made an irked face and stomped her foot in anger.

Ik -see amma, ishu isn't letting me work out

She complained to her mother who scolded her for playing such loud music, gave her aarti and moved towards ishita. Ishita smiled at her mother and took her blessings while ishika began cursing ishita for ruining her workout session.

Mrs. Iyer just shook her head seeing ishika fuming in anger while ishita hugged her amma, swaying in her arms like a kid as she told her how excited she is for her first day at work. The old lady smiled at her, kissing her forehead as she wished her luck and told her to get ready fast or else she will get late for work on the first day itself. Smacking her head as she realized her amma was just right as always, ishita ran to the washroom only to hear her amma's voice

M -what will you have in your breakfast kanna?

I -idli and chutney with my amma's special filter coffee

Ik -salad and green tea

She heard both her daughters' voice together and smiling, once again admiring the difference between the two twin sisters, she moved to the kitchen. She saw her husband returning from his morning jog as he called her for a cup of coffee which appeared before him in a few minutes.

V -where are my princesses?

He asked taking a sip to which she just smiled and answered

M -where they are always at this time of the day

Vishwa smiled shaking his head realizing his elder one must be busy with her workout while his younger one must be getting ready for work. Mr. Vishwanathan Iyer, one of the most successful businessmen in Delhi enjoys a happy family life. He had shifted from Chennai to delhi twenty five years ago in the strive to do something huge and his wife, his better half, his madhu had always been his companion in this journey. Starting with a small business, he soon expanded it and became the talk of the town in mere two years but he got the real happiness the day his two princesses had arrived in the world. The day he became a proud father from a husband, murugan had given him double blessing in the form of his two daughters, ishita and ishika.

Though identical twins by birth, both his daughters were poles apart still the apple of his eyes. His elder daughter ishika was struggling model while his younger one ishita, who was always into her books had recently completed her MBA and was joining him in his business from today. He finished his coffee thinking about his daughters and moved to his room to get read.

Settling down on the breakfast table after a while, his eyes scanned for them and he didn't had to wait for long as he saw ishita coming down dressed in a beige biz suit, small studs in her ears. Her hair tied in a pony, carrying a file, her laptop and her mobile. She looked like an entrepreneur already; he mentally noted and smiled while she settled next to her father wishing him a good morning asking her breakfast from her amma.

V -good morning kanna, all set for your first day at work?

He asked her smiling to which ishita smiled nodding her head telling him that she is a bit nervous as well as excited, hearing which he just chuckled.

V -don't worry kanna, your boss isn't a rude and sadu boss. I am sure you'll like working with him.

Ishita giggled hearing him and nodded her head in agreement as she asked him if he had his medicines to which he bit his tongue making her realize he forgot about it again.

I -kya appa, you always forget it

She said getting up as she passed him a glass of water and his medicines.

V(smiling) -because I have you to remember it for me

He said taking his medicine while ishika too joined them on the breakfast table.

Ik -hey appy, you looking hot

She said smiling settling down while her amma, who just came from the kitchen hit her for her head.

M -he is your appa ishika, not your friend. Behave

She said angrily making the trio giggle

V -see ishu, your amma is getting jealous and why won't she be, after all I am still hot and handsome

Ik -right appy

She said and both father daughter hifived while madhvi just looked on as she served them breakfast and the iyer clan left for their respective works finishing their meal. Ishita went to office along with her appa while ishika went out as she had an ad shoot today. Though her mother was always against her doing modelling, she had got her father's support who always had believed in chasing his dreams. He knew he had earned whatever he has today by chasing his dreams only and so had given his kids the liberty to do so too. He hadn't forced his career choices on his kids, ishika wanted to be a model and ishita wanted to be a successful entrepreneur like her father. And he had just accepted his kids' choices like an ideal parent, supporting and encouraging them in all possible means.

Ishita entered the premises and was greeted warmly by the whole staff. Seeing the nervousness on her face, he couldn't help recall her first day at school. Both his daughters were nervous that day and ishita was just continuously pulling his pants making him feel like it would come down any minute. She smiled looking at the staff greeting them back while he recalled how he had made them both comfortable in their class and was about to leave when ishita had held his hand and whispered to him in her sweet voice

"appa, ichu ko chol ke mat jaana"

(don't go leaving me alone)

He had just smiled and blinking his eyes at her, assuring her, had just settled next to them, spending the whole day in the classroom and then bringing them back home with lots of chocolates and toys only to get scolded by his wife.

He was busy in his own world when ishita shook him a little breaking his trance. She asked if him he is okay and nodding his head, he led her to her cabin.

ISHITA V. IYER

CEO

She smiled nervously seeing her name written outside her cabin. He put his arm around her shoulder knowing well she needed that little assurance given he had given her such huge responsibility on her very first day and made her sit on her chair.

I -appa you gave me such huge responsibility, I don't even know much about it yet, it's my first day only. I don't know if I will handle it well or not

She blurted in a nervous state making him chuckle.

V -relax kanna, don't stress yourself so much. Just believe in yourself and feel free to make mistakes because mistakes are what teach us the biggest lessons of our life and in case you need help, don't forget that your boss is your appa first. The same appa who had promised to keep you away from all the problems the day he had came to know about your existence, the same appa who had been protecting you from when you were in your mother's womb...

I -and the same appa who is our superhero

She said cutting him in between making the old man smile. Ishita got settled in her place and vishwa moved to his cabin. Ishita was given the file of their current project, she got engrossed in it, the day passed happily for her. She had lunch with her father and in the evening, the father daughter duo returned home together only to see ishika sitting in the living room, busy painting her nails.

Ik -heyy appy, hey ishu. How was your day?

She asked smiling to which both of them settled on her either side and told her that it was great. Her mother too came out asking her if she liked her work and the environment to which she happily began narrating her all she did throughout the day. The family had a nice dinner together and soon everyone retired to their respective rooms calling it a night.
