Once upon a time, I used to come to this forum to discuss a show, its plot, the characters and the acting prowess of its marvelous cast which includes two amazing leads.
Almost 4 years down the line, the cast has more or less remained the same - the acting prowess of the amazing leads has just become more refined and the show is still going by the same name but it is absolutely unrecognizable from the gold it used to be and is now part time shit and part time worth a shot!
Ironically the forum here is also more or less keeping up with the show in terms of that sentiment,
Now its more about shenanigans that have made it as unrecognizable as the show.
Until yesterday there was no talk of numbers being charged for this show and season and when every Tom, Dick and Harry reported Bharti and Harsh charging 30 Lakhs AFTER an article reported Mohit Sanaya are charging the most now figures are being thrown here as if everyone is a wall street expert and not just of the participants but that of the hosts too!

See, I am not in the business of bluffing thoughI am a businesswoman so I wouldn't CLAIM to know facts about other things like who's charging what or even the accuracy of some predictions but I would lay down my two cents here.
Bharti Singh is one of the only 3 entertainers to be featured on the Forbes list released recently. The other two being Kapil Sharma and Krushna Abhishek, She charges 25-30 Lakhs for her appearances and so that figure is based on her charges nominally...but to simply assume what the other couples are charging and thinking that Star Plus lacked budget when it clearly has pulled off a coup by casting not one, not two but three very popular ladies in their own rights together in this season which can be called a casting coup, is grossly underplaying it and downright being so thick.
Divyanka, Bharti and Sanaya are names to be reckoned with and those three have the kind of fanbase people envy...this season shall have their collective fanbase watching NB...needless to say SP knows what it is doing and is willing to pay so they're not short on budget at all.
As for how much the other two ladies are charging with their husbands for each episode - I suppose it is being too nosy to pry...not because they cannot charge as much as Bharti, but because it is laughable to think that they cannot charge...especially the light in which the figures are presented here. The leading lady of this channel who charges more than the others on star would willingly work her ass off for an amount that is LESSER than that of her other contemporary? PUH-LE-ASE.
I will spell out clearly too because hey why the hell not, Divyanka is the highest paid leading Lady of Star plus and it would be ludicrous to think she would accept less than Sanaya, especially considering how her last outing on TV was Rangrasiya in 2014 and then a web special on Hotstar for IPKKND...and before I am termed as a MonAya Basher, I would urge anyone with the slightest wish to do that to check my posts and see I have been this active only on two Forums on this god forsaken site one is YHM and other was MJHT and yes, I was a SaJan/MoNaya Shipper before those two even acknowledged they are a couple which by the way happened on SBS when they aired the segment of the last day shoot of MJHT...
Star Plus has clearly pulled off a whopper here since it has managed to gather some of the biggest names in the business right now all together under one roof in the same season.
They NEED these women and their fan power as much as people proclaim these women need them.
No one is willing to watch a show when contestants are not known even remotely. It is a two way street and Star is more than aware of it.
As for hosts and their charges - I simply believe in facts and they stand thus.
Manish Paul, the most prolific HOST who is known for his skills was paid the amount of 2.5 crores for the last season of JDJ. With 26 episodes, he charged approximately 9.61 Lakhs per episode.
Karan Tacker, is a face known as a soap hero, he has hosted some gigs but and I emphasize again BUT he is not anywhere near the same league as Manish Paul and to assume that he can charge not just the same as him but to assert it with complete authority without any kind of proofs to back that claim is ludicrous and absolutely green IMO.
