Is Sony tv's new show Peshwa Bajirao the potential nemesis of YHM?

1. YHM is very close to its all time low. A new historical period drama has started to air on Sony sharing the same time slot that of YHM.2.

2. Period shows perform very well on Sony and most of its viewers are from urban audience. This can hurt YHM as its main source of trp is urban audience.

3. Peshwa Bajirao started to air from 23 rd Jan and its 4 days trp is 0.9. Usually Sony's immensely popular online tv shows avg trp is around 0.5-0.6. PB's 0.9 may not be huge but it's a good start. If it sucks up 0.3-0.5 trp from YHM considering the current delicate situation of YHM, this will be an end game for YHM. As per stats, a period drama on Sony gets avg trp 1.6+ and 99% of the audience belong to urban area.

If you dont mind, what are the current/earlier(sony) competitors of YHM from diff channels for the same time slot?

Interesting post...though I would wish there was a equally interesting drama in the same 7 30 slot on colors or zee...with huge production values and actor's.. .

That would have been true end game for YHM...

Because all said and done it is still amongst the top 2 shows in the slot and among the top 3 shows for the channel.

The channel is still not pulling the plug on many more non performers stuck between 1.5- 2.0 trps and the shows are all much more costlier than YHM..in terms of production values at least...

So YHM. Won't go anywhere for at least a year at this rate unless a big show in higher eyeball channels like zee or colors takes off...

The Sony show may cause a dent ...but that clearly isn't enough for the channel which is in its own ego trip and uses its own rating system to 'justify ' the success of YHM too😕😕😆

There's a new show in zee with the yhm1 storyline with decent actors.
Why can't yhm have a spin off concentrating just on ishu-Raman alone .
The old late night timing.
Hopefully it'll happen soon.
New challenge might cause it.
