Well, I personally think its because some members, though mature, behave impulsively(much like our hero Raman) and start illogical and at time irrelivent bashing of other members and thr posts. Its creating a negetive environment all round. Today I saw a post, which is apparently irrelivent but was, instead of being ignored, made fun of. That too in a not-so-humourous manner. Well, bashing some particular language just to make fun of a particular person is not really funny, is it??
I have seen many people using thr mother toung in this forum, which is perfuctly fine, even though most people who dont know the language, do not understand it one bit. Some posts, unfortunately, are ridiculed, just because some person doesnt know the language .This trend of bashing is very much negetive and is driving people away.
I would love to hear ur take on it, and I hope u will, as a mature adult that I bel?eve u r, post civilisedly.

Well... I agree to d part dat bashing one's opinion is wrong..

Bt... d particular member u r refering to is nt a normal member as per member herself.. She projects to b one of part of CV n throws hints n riddles regarding upcoming track... DS is pure misleading n generally people dnt wana bash so dey jst hv fun over her riddles... Dere ws nthin agst any particular language bt jst dat whn u r posting sumthng as hints(as said by dat member.) or watevr atleast one shud keep in mind dat dere r people who might nt understand a particular language..

In regard to people making fun ws purely wid intention to hv a light hearted environment wich al thnx to cvs is vry rare to find on YHM forum.. None has any personal or any kind of hard feelings agst dat member..

My opinion...no offence to any one...

I am sorry to say, as swati said, none of us are interested in spreading negativity in the forum. It is just that this person comes out of the blue and posts some random riddles in a specific regional language and claims herself to be in the creative team and makes posts as if she is giving some clue about the upcoming track . But she purposely puts it up in a different language thinking that we will go behind her and ask for the meaning and the details. Hence the comments about the langugae part. Apart from that, we just try to deduce her puzzles and have light-hearted discussions about what that probably mean with respect to the upcoming track and the characters. If that is called as bashing, I wonder what would you call those "highly - intelligent" people, who bash other members as stupids, asses, idiots, ignorant idiots and what not. I hope you would have noticed such comments in the same thread as well. Not one post of such members have been in good sense and of respect to the fellow members. IMO, that is pure member bashing and I wonder how these people are still entertained in the forum. 😕🥱. The irony is such people ask others to leave the forum.😳.

With the forum already dead because of the show and with so much of negativity surrounding the upcoming track, based on some spoilers, we just tried making some light-hearted discussions about the possibilities of the track, if you happened to read all the pages.

No offence meant. Just my POV.

Never mind, I felt really hurt seeing people make fun of my mother toung so harsh and sarcastically. But I guess that was unintetional and was directed more towards the person than the language.

And Swati I have read your posts which are really sophisticated and full of depth, so I wont waste your time mentioning how it is the second highest spoken language in India and all. With google traslater around, almost any language is comprehensible these days.
And I do agree with you, Priya, using harsh language is not just silly, it is also uncivilised behavior. And as far as those members are concerned, YHM DT are supposed to take care of them. But I wanted to ask sincere people like you, not to entertain such rash posts. And as far as that member goes, now I understand that people were just making fun of her and unintentionally passed rash remarks to my mother toung.
I feel, if you ever saw someone undermine your language just to troll some disliked person, you too will feel hurt and ask everyone to act more maturly and request them not to do the same again, wont you??

The forum has ceased to be the way it used to be because the YHM production team does not consider demands by the forum or inclination by the forum necessary to implement.
They did it initially as a matter of fact they gave it to viewers before their asking for it , it was as if they
Knew the mind of the audience.
But once the show made its mark it was used to give a platform to talent which was not always the best, scripts which were not well thought out ,footage to insignificant actors and situations to please somebody who counts somewhere, someplace.
When the TRPs slouch they pull them up by literally putting some cushy scenes of the main leads
Popularly referred to as lollipops
Well then that doesn't warrant healthy discussion and sparring
That is why people take sides and bash and praise and try to prove the other is wrong
This gives good publicity to the lead actors but does nothing for the show
The leads say we have to follow the script, we have faith in Ekta and we have no clout
So the forum has become ineffective from that point of view
Only if the TRPs significantly go down and stay down then they will do something meaningful to make them come up and the voice of the forum would be heard.
Till then Lage Raho

Sorry, I don't know your name. But I just want to say that we tried to engage in a light-hearted discussion to crack the puzzle and none of our intentions was to defame the Bengali language. We wanted to understand the lyrics and then deduce what would each line mean and it applies to which character. That is it. As far as I understand, we were only mentioning that each of us would start posting in regional languages, so that none can understand. Because even if it is a open forum, it is only better than people make posts in a language every one can understand unless there is a disclaimer that the message is for a specific regional people or they atleast provide a English translation, so that other people don't feel they are left out. That is what we try our best to do, even if we post something in our regional language. But this person always uses a different language to increase the curiosity of the members, thinking that people would run behind her with more questions. So I feel that, except for the foul languages used by a couple of members in that thread, none of the other members had the intention to defame a language and make fun of it. But I genuinely apologize, if you feel that any of our comments have hurt your sentiments and we will ensure that we are very careful with our comments going forward. 😊.

Demeaning Bengali language is not our intention. You might have seen so many people with Bengali as mother tongue in that thread too. Why will we degrade a poet like Tagore who is our nation's pride? The Tm always irritates us and that's why we were talking about posting poems in our languages. Whenever we write something in our mother tongue, we always post a translation in English or in Hindi. You might have also seen people calling us idiots , fools etc. Even then we never use harsh words against them. Of course it hurts when someone demeans our language. But it was never our intention. Sorry, if we had hurt your sentiments.
