The episode was a fantabulous mix of colours and celebration, some Sherlock-style detective activities on the part of Mihir and Mihika, some comedy and of course, a real shocker because Pihu did not bite Ishita's head off today😆😆😆 I was kinda miffed as to WHY the entire Bhalla/Iyer clan is heaping so much importance on Pihu and her tantrums and doing everything hush-hush, but then I realized...chori chhupe pyaar karne aur shaadi karne mein bhi bahut maza hai😆😆😆
I only have eyes to make at a couple of irresistible things in the epi today
Loved, loved, LUUURRRVVEED Ishita's saree today (the one she was wearing when she entered Bhalla House with Raman and the one she was wearing for the mehendi)
DT looked GORGEOUS!👏👏
Purple boat-shaped blouse and a light sky blue color saree draped in perfect elegance, and later the pink embellished saree with the really heavy but breathtaking jhumkas, the usually curly hair coiffed in a cute lil bun, the ready, easy smile ...man, DT was elegance personified today❤️
Uske upar Amma ka senti hona (before she was about to write Raman's name on her daughter's palm)- very seamlessly executed! The emotion in Amma's eyes was every bit real, played just the right way, no drama, no exaggeration. Just the way I like it!
It was funny how Raman and Adi changed track when Shagun entered the designer's store😆😆 In fact, Raman ka expression dekhke I was thinking, "Iski aaj bhi apni ex-wife se kitni ph**thi hai yaar!"😆😆😆 I mean, he knows that witch SO well he cant dare utter the word "shaadi" in front of her, lest she pounce on this opportunity and plot and scheme to make his life hell😆
Shagun is such an ill-omen ki uske saamne apni khushi zaahir karne ka soch bhi nai sakte! Kaisi bala hai socho😆😆😆
And the saree that Raman chose for wifey (the one that we saw Ishita wearing in the promo shot) looked beautiful...but somehow, I didnt think it was worth its price tag (approx 44k; I would die of shock if my husband gifted me something THAT expensive)...and also, I feel Ishita TOWERS in Kanjivaram and looks absolutely unbeatable in the understated South Indian wedding attire ...completely my opinion...as it is, she looks like a dream in anything she turns up in
no matter what the wedding paraphernalia is, Ishita Iyer, the character AND DT can melt a rock under the shine of her sparkling eyes, beatific smile and the innate grace she is blessed with...😉
I dunno what came upon Pihu today (could not watch yest episode so I may have missed something that would connect to today's epi) but then I was half expecting her to yell and shout at Ishita and make some rude faces and stomp her way in and ruin IshRa' BIG Day (which of course, she does not have an idea of)
She actually taught Ishita how to do the dance steps right...
I couldn't care less about her...what caught my eye in that scene was the way Ishita broke into a dance, going with the flow, enjoying the moment, soaking in the momentary happiness Pihu gifted her, unknowingly, by just warming up to her in her own little way
And more than that, the moist-eyed smile spreading on Raman's lips...and the voice inside him that whispered to his tired soul, "Bas. Yehi sukoon hai."
Seeing Ishu dance the way she did with Pihu was the BEST wedding gift for him. And for us, the smile, that rare, reluctant smile that opened up wider as soon as it found comfort to hold on to...that, was priceless.
P.S. I did not discuss much of Mihir-Mihika scenes today (it was mostly boring), but it is a clearly a case of role reversal and giving them both something to do than just run behind Raman and Ishita as idle stepnis...kuch maheene pehle Romi was acting fishy, now it's Mihika's turn to come under the circle of suspicion.
P.S. I loved Ruhi's costume! I think she was wearing a patiala...an ornate, stately blue kurta over a pair of orange- yellow baggy patialas. Aditi has such lovely hair, and a wonderful creamy complexion. Looked so pretty!
P.S. Shagun is such a menace she had to be packed off to Chennai to facilitate a smooth wedding ceremony for the much married Punjabi Bhalla and Madrasi Iyer...I mean, she is like a thorn on a rose stalk, you need to pluck her and cast her aside to be able to actually "smell the roses"😆😆
I hope she doesn't push Shobana Paati off the stairs once she discovers she has been made a fool of!
