OK. I remember Bhuvana wanted to post a proper picture of a TamBrahm Iyer bride and groom. Here it is :-

PS :- This picture is of Soundarya Rajnikanth (daughter of Tamil film industry, SuperStar Rajnikanth) and her hubby, taken during their marriage, some years back. Unfortunately they are getting divorced in a few months.

Priya, many ladies in the north do not wear any thing in the neck even with sarees as far as I have seen. No offence girls.

yup ..for me with certain cuts ..I feel the cut itself stands out ..so any accessory takes attention away from it...that applies to boat neck. .or wide neck dresses or blouses..

In tamil functions though I dare not step out without earrings, something around the neck and bangles...and a bindi ..else every paati woukd make it a point to call me and ask if I forgot to wear either one ..or good naturedly 'advice' me that's important to wear it/them..😆😆

Non tanil functions I stuck to what you mentioned..at times a heavy embellished neck goes great with mininal or no accessories except a watch or bracelet😉

Thanks Priya you remembered. I asked for our girls to imagine kp in this attire. Waise, they are getting divorced. It is a news to me. Why?

Yes, even my cousins don't wear. Frankly, even I don't mind it as long as there is no occasion. At home, most of the time, I roam around with bare neck only😆. But if there is an occasion, I prefer wearing a simple, matching😳 neck piece. And here, Ishita is the bride Bhuvana. That is why I was finding it more weird.😆

As usual incompatibility is what people say. They found each other to be incompatible even within months of marriage, but elders tried to sort the differences it seems. But finally, none of them could do anything about it and they have filed for divorce. She has got a 1.5 yr old son called Ved. The kid is uber cute.

Obviously, you cannot share your pics. 😆. If you don't mind, you can PM us though😳😆. On a serious note, Almost all tambrahm married couples will have a pic in this pose I guess.😊
