Everyone was busy in chatting and gossiping sipping their coffee when poen came and said -she is coming, Sab apne jagah par baith jao.
Everyone got up and sat on their places and got engrossed in their works like all r very busy. All were pretending to be busy but their ears were on the door only.
After about two minutes, a lady in light pink saree entered the office, her hair was tied in a high pony while she was wearing studs in her ears. Without any makeup also her face was glowing, her eyes was scanning the place while everyone was gritting her. She just nodded to their greetings and went inside her cabin.
All got relaxed and one person said -ishita ma'am kitni strict aur rude hai. Raman sir kitne achchr the, u know sometimes I really miss him. Poor man, don't know why god called him so early. He was saying when another said -dheere bol, don't u know ishita ma'am domt like hearing all this. Agar unhone sunn liya toh teri naukari jayegi.
First person -i really don't understand how can she be so heartless, ki raman sir ko naam lene bhar se woh kisi ko naukari se nikaal deti hai.
Second person-samajh mein toh mujhe bhi nahi aata but I have seen her firing six people in an year just for taking his name.
First person -toh kya koi unka naam nahi leta.
Second person -bol toh aise raha hai, jaise tujhe pata nahi. Haven't u seen, since the time ishita ma'am has overtaken the business, no one takes Raman sir's name. They were talking when the poen came and told that ishita has called them inside.
Both got scared and went to ishita.
Ishita -i saw u guys talking in place of working. So I thought, u should talk out of my office, so u guys r fired.
Both got startled hearing this and start pleading not to fire them. But ishita turned her face to the window and just told them to go.
The person who started the convo got frustrated and said -why don't u tell us clearly, that u r tiring us coz we were talking about Raman sir, Haan woh bahut achche the, tumse toh bahut hi jyada achche the. Don't know why god called him so early. Shayad tum jaisi biwi jhel nahi paayen honge issliye mar gaye bechare. But at least he got saved from u. He was saying only to get a slap from someone.
They look at the direction and saw ashok standing there.
The person got slapped held his cheek and said -ashok sir.
Ashok -just get out of here. Apne maalik ki izzat nahi kar sakte toh at least iss tarah insult mat Karo. What u know about her, he was saying when ishita said still looking at the sky -its ashok, let them go.
Ashok -but ishita,
Ishita showed her palm and said -told u naa, it's OK let them go.
Ashok let them go and was coming near ishita when she said -tum bhi jao, ashok.
Ashok -but ishita ,
Ishita cut him and said -I am fine ashok, u go and concentrate on ur work. We have to work really hard to get this new contract.
Ashok said OK and went leaving ishita alone. She looked at the cloudy sky and closed her eyes. A tear escape her eyes and roll down her cheek remembering the words of her employee that raman died because of her.
She so wanted to cry her heart out but she has to compose herself as she was in office. She called her secretary and asked about her prior appointments. Secretary told her that she dont have much meetings, just one important meeting to attend. Ishita called ashok and told him to attend the meeting coz she is going home.
Ashok -why u want to go ishita, to cry.
Ishita -no I just want to be alone today.
Ashok -kyun.to curse urself.
Ishita wiped her tears and said -u just tell me, will u take care of the meeting or not.
Ashok -ofcourse I will take care of it, yeh bhi koi puchne ki baat hai, but I just want to say, he was saying when ishita hung the call.
Soon she went out of the office and within an hour, she reached home. She entered the house only to see toshiji was sitting near the fire and was performing puja for peace of raman's soul. Today was the death anniversary of raman. Her parent were also sitting with toshiji folding their hands.
Ishita got angry seeing the puja and went inside angrily. Toshiji got scared seeing her and was thinking what to say when ishita came and start throwing things in anger.
Ishita -i told u naa, not to do all this, Raman zinda hai, phir unki death anniversary manane ki himmat kaise hui Aap sabki. She was saying and throwing things in anger.
Appa got up and hold her hand and said -what r u doing kanna. Aise koi puja ka samaan phenkta hai. Kya yahin sikhaya hai humne tumhe. He said making ishita cry.
Ishita -why mummy ji is doing this appa, unko kaho naa not to do this as my husband is alive. Unki aise death anniversary mat manaiye.i know he is alive and one day he will surely come back to me. Mujhe pura bharosha hai appa, Ek din raman jarur wapas aayenge. Please appa told everyone to stop all this. She was crying and saying.
All cried seeing her condition while appa hugged ishita tight and took her inside telling everyone to carry on the puja.
Appa took ishita to the room and make her sit and then make her drink water. Ishita drank water and was going out to stop the puja again when appa stopped her and said -why r u doing this kanna.
Ishita -kyunki Raman zinda hai, aur zinda insaan ka shradhh nahi hota. I know he is alive.dekhiye maine unke naam ka mangalsutra bhi pehna hai, sindoor bhi lagaya hai. Mummy ji kehti hai ki sindoor pati ki raksha karta hai toh mere pati ki bhi raksha karega naa,toh phir kaise raman ko kuch ho sakta hai. I know he is alive. She said crying when appa said-agar zinda hai toh aata kyun nahi kanna. He said making ishita look at him.
Appa -coz he is no more.
Ishita -nahi, woh zinda hai. I don't know why he didn't come back but I know he is alive.
Appa -ok OK, it's ur belief that raman is alive and for that u wore this mangalsutra and apply this sindoor and no-one stopped u ever. Like that it's bhabhi ji's belief ki raman ke naam ki puja karne se uski aatma ko shaanti milegi. Toh let her do things her way. Woh tumhara belief ko nahi tod rahi tum unke belief ko mat todo.
Ishita -but raman is alive.
Appa -we all want him to be alive and fine but we can't overlook the obvious. Tum uska intezaar karo and let bhabhi ji do things her way. OK.
Ishita nodded and said -ok, aap jaiye. I will not disturb anyone again.
Appa -r u sure.
Ishita nodded and appa went out.
Ishita hold her mangalsutra and remembered her employees words again that raman died because of her.
Ishita -kyun chod kar chale gaye Aap mujhe, kya meri galti Itni badi thi, jiski Itni badi saza di mujhe. I know aapko kuch nahi hua hai, u r safe and sound somewhere, but u r not coming back to me coz I hurt u alot. OK mere liye wapas mat aaiye but at least come for ur mother, ur friends, ur employees and for anyone, but please come back. Mujhse nahi saha jaata ab yeh sab,i am really tired of being strong. Maa ke liye, aapke business ki liye,khud ke liye, I am tired of being strong.u have promisede once that u will never go leaving me alone. Agar apne promise ke liye nahi toh at least to hurt me back the way I hurted u but please come back Raman coz I know aapko kuch nahi hua hai, u r very much alive. Chahe duniya kuch bhi kahe I know u r alive. Tabhi toh jab bhi koi kehta hai ki raman sir nahi rahe, I just throw him out of our office coz I know u r alive. Koi maane naa maane par main jaanti hoon aur maanti bhi that u r alive. So please come back to me Raman. Please. She said looking at his pic while tears were flowing continuously from her eyes.
