@bcorp - Cultural difference is a big deal. I live abroad and come from a family where there is balance and there is no gender discrimination but then when I look at general desi scene..you have, like you said, men jeered if they help in household work or applauded . Same crowd you take abroad will mostly likely be doing a combined job -make and female.

Tv is for consumption now..people only expect chemistry, some background noise , that is all. It's always on .How many women will take to online forums to rant or gush , most will switch off and go back to their daily life. It is numbing and probably they don'\t take tv that seriously..after 1 year , the shows become a habit.

@K13- Dude, I never tell people about desi shows .The judging eyes. Heck you go the BW forum or debate mansion of this portal only and you would experience the prejudice. 😆

Ekta knows basic template, she makes it look pretty by getting cast with chemistry..job done.Consumer will take it.

bt frm the comments over here on how regressive show sells,it is entirely audience fault
Indian TV has good shows like dehleez, Tamanna, kuch rang pyaar ke aise bhi bt sadly these shows don't click with general audiences.
and if a good content show starts selling, they wl change it into a typical stereotype show to extend the show indefinitely like it happened with YHM,BALH
Had YHM nt been this popular, it would nt have been this regressive.

Inspite of all this,we watch this show out of a wierd obsession.
like I still watch this show fr seeing a change in Raman and how ishra will reunite.
I left the show during surrogacy track itself bt still m unable to again leave the show inspite of 100x regressive content being shown now and I hate myself fr this 😵
I hv vowed to myself frm now on no hindi shows fr me

I took a journey to see some discussions on KKB b/c I know their track is of the FL being wrongfully accused by the ML at the prompting of the vamp, and not so shockingly the sound just like the ones here

And @bold - welcome to the boat. I actually feel so gross outside of the few minutes of happiness I get with my lollipop scenes with YHM of late. This happened during surrogacy but then bhoot & Shanaya track were dumb but enjoyable b/c leads were together...but post leap it's been a constant battle with how much worse can it get and how much longer can I stick around without losing my sanity😆
