"Sirf Ruhi ke liye..." he echoed...

None too sure...]

I read that part like...thrice 😳

"Here we lay face to face once again
Silence cuts like a knife as we pretend.
And I'm wondering who will be the first to say what we both know
We're just holding on to "could have been"s and we should be letting go."
___Can these lyrics be apt to any other situation...

This was just what I really wished to see in the show when they'd comfort each other. Well...a comforting or confrontation never took place in appropriate situations there but I'm happy I could read this stuff!
It was journey from the bitterest to something light. The natural admission that no matter what they are a parent and they do wish to have a happy family...;I loved this "normal" Ishita and Raman.

Raman's guilt and the inborn short-temper is 😆 That truly made this entire story realistic and I could connect it.

Lovely. The raman in your story, the real one who's never going accept the reality of what happened 7 years back fearing of loosing his ishita. (zoya has depicted so well which I really failed to understand.) They didn't acknowledge what has happened and are not going to do that, atleast in the near future. The way you have enacted their conversation without that and they looking on for their kid's together , their happy family is so beautiful. Surf ruhi ke liye, I don't mind even if they don't figure out but them staying them together they can make themselves so happy and content, forgetting the whole world. What does one need other than being happy and content? Beautiful write up.

This is wonderful..the para where they discuss what their life cld have been made me tear up..this was exactly our hope for them until cvs screwed up everything with surrogacy and what followed after that..but alas some wishes are never fulfilled..but just reading and dreaming abt their blissful family with all 3 kids is so heart warming and they coming together keeping aside all their problems sirf ruhi ke liye but not so sirf ruhi ke liye; wonderfully written..i can go on but what a brilliant piece of writing..kudos to u!!

Better than what they have showed, obviously...

His inner turmoil on seeing her lying unconscious...And his care that followed was beautiful to read with such an amazing flow.. This is what RKB would have done in that situation..

Even though we got something similar on the show it was dramatized way too much.. I really miss the subtlety the show used to have..It's gone forever now..

This was beautiful, anku! I just loved the slow progression of emotions - the anger, hurt, sense of betrayal, longingness, guilt, disappointment...it was all there and the underlying emotion was love.

The need of the hour is for IshRa to be parents. No future plans. No ego. No insecurities. They need to be adults for a kid who has suffered physical and emotional scars. Forget what relationship they share with each other...but Ruhi needs loving but strict adults in her life like you've shown

Lovely Anku..Sirf Ruhi ke liye..4words which now define their relationship will better their lives in the future.

Loved how Raman took care of Ishita shooing the others away.

The part where both of them imagine how their lives could have been teared me up. Both of them finally found solace in the other, for the time being just as parents. Just brilliant:)
