seeing ishitha sleeping in his lap peacefully after 2days he relaxed for a minute keeping aside half drunk juice glass by his wife
a tear rolled down from his eyes seeing ishitha's sleeping figure
after their marriage anniversary everything was going good for two weeks
Flash Back
after a week after their marriage anniversary ishitha wished to visit her parents home
raman being busy asked his father to accompain ishitha to her parents home
she doesnt know something bad is about to hit her life
when she got down from the car after reaching their parents home she was very excited and happy to see them after a week
'papaji thanks for bringing me here' she exclaimed happily
'no thanks puttar its my duty to fulfill your wishes after all mera bahu hi naa thum' he smiles side hugging her
when they reached towards the entrance they were surprised to see the door locked
ishitha yelled for the watchman making him to rush towards them
'watchman where everyone went?'
'saab hospital gaya thi naa madam aapko nahi patha hi kya?'
listening to the word she was hell worried 'hospital hospital kyou?'
'voh iyer saab ka thabiyat teek nahi thi saab usko hospital lekar gayi thi' watchman informed her with a sad voice
she was tensed thinking worst can be happen
with a trembling voice she talked to her FIL 'papaji appa ko kuch naa hoga naa?'
wiping his daughter in law tears he side hugged her comforting like a father
'nothing happens to your appa puttar you be strong'
'i need to see appa please papaji take me to appa' her pleading eyes made him to tear up'
taking out his mobile he dialed to raghu 'raghuji mi om bhalla baath kar rahi hu aap kaha hi mi yaha iyer saab ka ghar pe
hi watchman ne bol rahi hu unka tabiyat teek nahi hu ghar valo unko hospital lekar chali gayi'
raghu informed him the hospital name and also mentioned not to bring ishitha there
'puttar raghu said nothing happened to your appa,they will be coming to home tomorrow so we can meet them tomorrow' he said without looking at her
'no papaji i have to see appa or else i cant live in peace aap please mujje hospital lekar chelo she bursted into tears thinking what happened to her father'
everyone of iyers and bhalla's knows that ishitha's weakness was her appa and raman
for the same reason mrs.bhalla tried to keep away iyers from ishitha so that her son marrital life will wont be affected
but blood relation is not something we can erase
seeing her state he agreed to her and both left to hospital
seeing her entire family and raghu she rushed to them
her first glance was on her amma who was very pale and tears rolling down continuously
mr.bhalla thought something bad was happened to appa he immediately dialed to his mother to inform the situation
daadi knowing very well about the love ishitha has on her father she dialed to raman to come to the hospital as he was the only one who could manage ishitha
raman was hell tensed when his daadi said that something happened with mr.iyer his thoughts went to ishitha and being her pregnant made him more panic he rushed to hospital along with mihir romi and mihika
walking towards her mother she held her hand making her mother to look at her
everyone including raghu shocked seeing her in the hospital this is the reason they didnt informed to bhalla's
'amma what happened to appa why you all are here why you didnt informed me,bolo amma appa ko kyo huva seeing her jiju missing in the family she cried more 'kaha hi jiju voh mujje bathayengi appa ke baare mey'
raghu took her into his embrace consoling her kuch nahi huva ishu please you have to be strong
'nahi please bathavo papa appa ko kya huva?' she cried vigorously making her family members more panic'
vandu holding her sister she wiped her tears 'ishu you should not cry it wont be good for your and baby's health now be strong for appa and your baby'
'aap pehle baathavo kya huva appa ko aap saab hospital me kyou hi?'
mustering all the courage she said that appa got second heart attack and it was serious bala with other surgeons operating appa
ishitha was shocked listening to her sister words tears streamed down continously 'appa appa aise kaise huva she rushed towards OT forgetting her condition
staring at the closed door she cried vigorously when she held her head spinning her hands reached towards her stomach trying to secure her baby first
before she could collapse on the floor karthik rushed towards her
'akka please open your eyes please akka..'
everyone rushed towards her,when karthik took her into his arms raman reached to the ward along with his brothers,seeing his wife in unconscious state in her brother's arms he rushed towards them
taking her into emergency room they called a doctor for immediate treatment
raman was hell worried for ishitha he felt his entire world collapsing infront of him when saw ishitha still in her brother's arms
everyone got more worried seeing ishitha's condition
turning to vandu raman asked how appa was hospitalised
'raman today morning he got second heart attack we immediately rushed him to the hospital,if anything happens to appa i know how ishitha will react that is why we hid the matter from her'
doctor interepted their talk 'aap saab uss patient ka family hi kya?'
raman walking towards doctor talked to her 'doctor i am her husband how is she now?'
'she is pregnant right?'
'haa voh teek tho hi naa?' he asked hell worried about her health
'she is very stressed out both mentally and physically if it continues it will be a danger to the baby and to the mother as she was in her nearly 6th month,place take care of her we injected IV and her BP was very low
you need take extra care about her
listening to the doctor words raman couldnt think straight one side his FIL was fighting for his life other side his wife health was not good
and thinking about their unborn baby he slumped into the chair crying silently
his mother knows very well ishitha was his weakness if anything happens to her she will loss his son which she cant think
'puttar you dont worry nothing will happen to ishitha please hold yourself she need you'
'maa why again? i almost lost her once now again if anything happens to her i cant live without her maa he breakdown into tears in his mother's arms'
puttar sambalo apna aap ko,kuch nahi hoga thumhari biwi ko
wiping his tears he went towards her room to be her man who would give a shoulder when she was in pain,he will do anything to make sure she and their baby is fine
seeing the dry tears on her face his tears rolled down he knows very well she loves his father like her dear life the reason why he always competed with her appa is with a small hope that
her love for him will be more than her father and if a horrible day comes she will think about him before taking a drastic step but now he understood that no matter what a daughter love towards her father can be never lessen
kissing her forehead he walked out to check on his FIL
'what happened to appa suddenly he questioned vandita'
'patha nahi suddenly he held his chest when we are having our breakfast,seeing him getting difficult in breathing bala confirmed that it was second panic attack
we immediately rushed him to hospital now it was almost 4hrs they are still operating him
his thoughts were continuously running around his wife and FIL
raman was beside ishitha for an hour as his FIL is still in OT
when he saw ishitha opening her eyes he held her hand making her to look at him,'reality hit her when she looked at her surroundings
tears streamed down from her eyes'
she pulls away cannula from her hand making blood to ooze from her back palm
raman who was in daze till then he holds her hand seeing blood oozing from her hand he shouts for a nurse holding ishitha tightly
'ishitha what you are doing,blood is oozing',he wipes his tears wiping the blood on her hand with a cotton
'raman leave my hand i have to see appa',she cries trying to get her hand out of his grip
ishitha please control yourself if you get stressed more then it wont be good for your health please think about me,nothing will happen to appa,i will get foreign doctors for appa's treatment
please you dont cry
'mujje appa se milna hi,i want to see my appa',she breaksdown remembering her appa's first heart attack on her broken engagement day
nurse walks in with a bandage
raman hugs her tightly when she tries to get out of his grip asking nurse to treat her hand
he consoles her patting her hair 'ishitha please think about our baby it is your dream please for my sake be sane nothing will happen to appa i promise you'
he cries along with her
'please raman let me go out i want to check on appa' she pleads him wiping her tears
ok we will go and see but listen you should control yourself he pleads her holding her hands while she nods her head trying hard to kill her sobs
seeing all still near the OT she settles beside raman weeping in his arms thinking about her father
mrs.iyer was more broken one side her husband was fighting with his life other side her daughter health was taking a toll on her senses
seeing her amma fainting in her arms vandhu shouts gaining everyone's attention
ishitha walks towards her amma more broken seeing her amma's situation
everything was a hell for an hour,for bhalla's handling ishitha has became more hard from the time her amma admitted in other room in an unconscious state
after long six hours the doctors came out while ishitha immediately reached her jiju asking about her appa
'bathavo jiju appa teek hu naa?'
bala was first shocked seeing ishitha in the hospital after composing himself he looked at the entire family who was hell worried
raman:tell bala appa is fine right he asked holding ishitha in his arms
seeing ishitha for a sec he answers to everyone while other doctors leaves the place
'appa is fine we are keeping him in ICU for continuous monitoring he has to be in hospital for atleast a week'
sighing in relief vandu walks into her amma's room along with ishitha to say that their appa is fine
ishu excusing herself walks out to find bala to ask whether her appa is completely fine
enquiring bala's cabin she walked near the cabin to see all the men of iyers and bhalla's in his small cabin
she stopped herself from entering into the cabin
raghu initiated the talk with bala 'bala why suddenly second stroke what happened to him he will be alright naa?'
'uncle appa is not alright we have to keep him under observation for a week if he gets another stroke thennn...'
he halted his sentence unable to utter those horrible words
raman:no bala you should not say this appa ko kuch nahi hoga hi naa? he was assuring himself questioning bala
bala:i cant say anything raman,we called most experienced cardiologists for appa's operation they all are saying that he was in under lots of stress which is not good for his health
i really couldnt get why appa is getting stressed he was very happy with ishu's and our's happy going life
and his BP was very low from some past days which we didnt noticed his Blood pressure should be in very control he should not be getting hyper on anything keeping in mind that he was an heart patient
we have to take extreme care for appa
ishitha walked out sobbing about her appa's state,she was unable to get why appa was in pressure
in the evening when her appa shifted to ICU shanthi and her mother asked her to go back to home as she has to take care of herself
but ishitha was hell bent to leave her appa
she didnt gave an ear for anyone's concern even daadi's words didnt changed her opinion
nurse asked all of them to leave the ward as only 2members can stay for the sake of patient
ishu:i will stay with my appa she immediately answered to the nurse
raman who went to speak to specialist came back to see ishitha crying
'ishitha what happened?' he reached to her
'raman i wont go anywhere leaving appa,please let me stay here'
'ishitha please think about yourself once since morning you didnt had anything think about your health you want to make appa more worried about your health'
'i wont listen to anyone i want to be with my appa' she cried in her amma's embrace worried about her father
bala:amma you all leave hospital i and raghu uncle will stay here you come tomorrow morning
vandu looks at her amma who was staring at icu
'bala amma cant live in peace even if we take her to home,let her be here with you raghu uncle need to be with shanthi aunty
asking raman to take care of ishitha everyone left the hospital while bhalla's stayed back because of ishitha
raman:please ishitha dont you love me you are hurting me ishitha think about me once,appa was fine now nothing will be happen to him
doctors will monitor him for 24hrs bala will be here he is a doctor ishitha
she looked at bhalla's who was seeing her helplessly,looking back at her appa's room she leaves with raman

in the bhalla's mansion:
raman walked into her room with a glass of juice knowing very well she wont eat anything seeing her father's condition she was crying all the time thinking about her father's health
ishitha drink this juice he forwarded the glass
looking at him she pushed away the glass making it to break into pieces
'ishitha thum pagal hogaya appa teek hu lekin thum nahi hu,dekho thumhari haalath if anything happens to you and baby i will die ishitha why cant you understand this'
he was in tears seeing her condition
i want to stay with appa raman,please she embraced him crying her heart out
after lots of persuading she slept in his arms
...
next morning
she left with bhalla's to hospital as she couldnt stay without seeing her appa
she walked to bala along with raman to enquire about her appa's health,knowing he gained conscious early in the morning she left to see her appa along with raman
she saw her amma who was sitting outside ICU 'amma come we will see appa'
amma:i met him ishu you go and see she asked her daughter
she left along with raman to see her appa staring at her when she went towards him
'ishu thum teek hu naa'
she bursted into tears seeing her father equipped with all machines 'appa why you did this why you didnt take care of yourself aapko kya hogaya appa why you did this how can you do this to your ishu
she breakdown in raman's arms
asking her to come near him appa held her hand 'ishu you should not cry you are a pregnant woman you have a family you are going to be a mother you have to take care of your baby first'
please ghar javo i will be fine listen to your appa,if you wont listen i will be stressed' he speaks with a lots of difficulty nodding at him she leaves the hospital along with raman
before getting into the car she walks back saying that she want to see her father one more time
while raman waited outside for a 15mins
she finally returned back wiping her tears
...
from the time she reached home she was crying continuously making raman more tensed
'ishitha please what appa said did you forgot that you have to take care of our i cant see you like this ishitha please for my sake please be calm'
she calmed herself in his embrace
all the day he didnt left her side seeing her condition
but he doesnt know what made her to cry even after seeing her father fit and fine
whole day he was on her side taking care of her

he looked at her sleeping figure one more time, lifting her from his lap he placed her on the bed covering with a duvet
seeing her hold on his hand he slipped beside her engulfing her in his embrace
he cried the night thinking about her health,how much he convinces himself that she was in pain because of her father state he couldnt handle her ignorance towards his feeling and their baby
