LAST SHOT
Ishita wake up feeling sunrays on her face falling on her peeping from the curtains.she open her eyes and found herself alone on the bed.
Ishita- (st)is that was a dream that Raman came to me.thinking so she look at herself and saw herself almost naked wrapped in the bedsheet.a blush turned her red thinking,he was actually with her and they made love last night.he loved her all over again and again many times trying to make her realise that they r just made for each other.she pick her kurti from side and dressed herself.
She remembered his words- meri zindagi ki har khushi sirf tum ho.tum ho toh main hoon,tum nahi toh main bhi nahi.(u r the only happiness of my life.if u r in my life,everything is fine.if u r not then nothing can be fine).
She remembered how he was loving her making her feel alive with his every touch.she close her eyes to feel those touches all over again.she was beaming in happiness forgetting everything. She just wanna go and hug him right for coming in her life and loving her unconditionally.she tried to get up and then she realised the worst reality of her life.which not only shattered her but force her to leave Raman.
Tears ran down her cheek thinking that she can't walk ,she is not anymore fit for her Raman.she can't trouble him .
She was sitting and crying silently when he entered the room with a tray in his hand.he was freshly showered and water droplets were falling off his hair making him look more handsome and charming.he was wearing a grey tee with blue denims.smiling flashing his cute dimples who always make her heart skip a beat.
Seeing her crying ,he rush to her and said wiping her tears- why my bachcha is crying.
Ishita put her head on his chest and said- aap kyun aayen hai Raman.(why u came).u r not suppose to be here.
Raman wounded his arms around her and said- main wahin hoon jahan mujhe hona chahiye.tumhare paas(I am in right place).
Ishita tore herself from him and said- no Raman,this is not ur place.u can't be near me.we r not suppose to be together. I am not the one whom u loved.I am not that ishita,Raman.she said crying.
Raman wiped her tears and said hugging her again- what do u mean jaan.what changed between us.what changed within u.does ur love for me lessen.no I don't think so.in fact i can see that ur love has increased manifolds for me.isnt it.
Ishita- pyaar sab kuch nahi hota Raman.mere pair,I can't walk Raman.I can't walk.I can't dance anymore.I am not the one whom u fell in love.she can dance,I can't even walk.she said crying bitterly.
Raman- does it changed the equation between us.I loved u not ur dance.I agree I like ur dance,but I love u.I like ur dance coz it bring a smile on ur face.and I love that smile.I like ur dance coz it bring us closer but I loved only u.and anything in this world can't change my love for u baby.u r and will always be my ishita,the one with whom I fell in love.did u got it.
Ishita- no Raman.its easy to talk but living with a handicap for a lifelong is more like a curse.u will be burdened by my sorrow.u will do everything for me,my happiness. Still people will go on troubling u.I have seen how those reporters were harassing u.this will not end Raman.u will always be on their target.they will try to trouble u every now and then.but because of me.and I can't see that.why u get all the sorrow in life just because of me.u deserve every damn happiness in the world and I am not one of them.she said cupping his face.
Raman- u know jaan I don't care what the world says,what those damn reporters says,what my relatives says and what u says. All I care that I want u in my life, I can't live without u.and u better end ur drama now or else u will loose me forever.
Ishita- don't say like this Raman.u can't do anything stupid like this.she said hugging him tight.
Raman broke the hug and said- why won't I.u can hurt urself for saving me,u can ran away from me so that noone can point a finger on me,then why can't I do this.I will do this only.if u r not in my life,I don't wanna live.I will kill myself.
Ishita- why not u r understanding Raman.it will be good,if u go away from me.go back to ur parents and move on in life.forget me like a bad chapter of ur life.
Raman- move on,forget u.r u serious jaan.
Ishita- yes ,I can't live on someone's mercy.
Raman- mercy,u really think I am doing it out of mercy.u think my love is mercy on u.
Ishita knows well that she is hurting him but she thinks its best for him.
Ishita- yes,I know u loved me but now u r doing this for returning my favour that I saved u.I don't want ur mercy Raman ,just go away.she said looking away.a tear escape her eyes seeing her Raman in pain.but she can't help it.she want him to go away.
Raman- u really think I sympathize for u.don't love.OK u want me to go away naa.forget u.I will do that.will never came back to u even if u call.
Ishita's heart cried hearing her broken voice but she don't want to be weak.
Ishita- thanks Raman.just go now.
Raman- I will ishita.just answer me a question. If u couldn't save me that day and I would have died,can u forget me.
Ishita turn to him listening his question. Her eyes were filled,his eyes were blood red.
Ishita- don't say like this Raman.I can never let anything happens to u.
Raman- yes u ran to save me.I know u will never let anything happened to me.but if u couldn't save me.main mar jaata toh bhool jaati mujhe.jawab do.I swear I will go after u answer me.answer me damn it.could u forget me and move on.
Ishita nodded her head and cried silently.
Raman- OK and if I was in ur place.if I had lost my legs ,then would u forget me.leave me alone.chod deti mujhe.
Ishita nodded.
Raman came near her and said cupping her face- toh main kaise chod doon ishita.tum jaanti ho ki tum hi meri zindagi ki har khushi ho phir bhi mujhe khud se dur karna chahti ho.agar tum hi nahi rahi toh is zindagi ka main kya karunga.meri zindagi bachakar mujhe maut ki saza mat do.meri zindagi se jaane ki zid chod do.main nahi jee sakta akela.maanta hoon zindagi shayad thodi mushkil ho .par tum saath hogi toh zindagi ,zindagi toh lagegi.thodi takleef hogi,thode aansun honge.par joh bhi honge hamare honge.hum saath milkar unn takleef se ladhkar apni khushiyan jeetenge.hum ladenge aur jeetenge bhi.itni jaldi himmat mat haro.humara pyaar har kasauti par khara uthrega.tum zarur theek ho jaogi.aur agar theek nahi bhi hui naa,main tumhe kabhi tumhari iss kami ka ehsaas nahi hone dunga.(then how can I leave u.u know u r my biggest happiness then also u want to leave me alone.I can't live without u .I agree there will be difficulties but we can overcome them together. We will fight together against all odds.just trust our love. I promise I will never let u feel ur disability).
Ishita was listening his words having tears in her eyes.he wiped it and said- bas ek baar mera haath tham lo .main vada karta hoon main tumhara haath kabhi nahi chodunga.raaste chahe kitne bhi mushkil ho tumhara Raman hamesha tumhare saath rahega(just hold my hand once ,I will never leave u alone.)

They hugged each other tightly and cried their pain.pain of being separated,pain of missing each other.after sometime Raman broke the hug and said wiping her tears- bahut ho gaya jaan.ab aur nahi.(its enough.)now we will not cry anymore.coz we r together.we don't need the world for us because for us we r our world.he said joining their foreheads.
Ishita- yes Raman,I can spend my whole life just looking at u.she said cupping his face.
Raman- bore ho jaogi.hamare bachchon ki shakal dekhna,woh bhi meri tarah handsome aur sweetheart honge.(u will be bored.u can see our kids face.they will also be handsome and sweetheart like me).
Ishita smiled and kissed his temple.he close his eyes feeling her touch.she kept her lips there a little longer feeling good.
After some time,
Raman- I think now my baby should rest.saying so he make her lay down and settle beside her.she snuggle closer to him.he started caressing her face.
Raman- jaan.
Ishita- hmm.
Raman- how u came out of the hospital. I mean how anyone couldn't recognize u.u r the talk of the town.
Ishita- I wore a burkha.neelu bought it for me.then she took me out from back gate on the wheel chair .she said sadly.
Raman- achcha ji,u planned so much to escape from me.but I still found u .see my potential. He said trying to cheer her up.
Ishita- how did u find me.
Raman- actually neelu called me.she can't see u in pain.she called me and told me to come asap as u were trying to go abroad.she told me that u r crying from the day u landed here. My baby was crying for me.I have to come.he said hugging her tight.
Ishita- I troubled u much naa.
Raman- yes,but u can pay me for my troubles.
Ishita- how.
Raman- by loving me.he said winking at her.
Ishita smiled and said- chee besharam(shameless).
Raman- what besharam.we r just married.so its our honeymoon period .and everyone enjoy their honeymoon period by loving each other.
Ishita- but right now .I am very hungry.I didn't eat well from a week.
Raman- actually me too.and I worked really hard last night.
Ishita blushed at his words.
Raman- ohho my blushing queen.OK let's go and make something to eat.first let's go and freshen up.saying so he picked her in his arms and took her to the washroom.
After half an hour they were in kitchen making breakfast together.she was instructing and he was making.she was sitting on the chair.after sometime he brought a plate of upma with two cups of coffee.he place the tray on the table and sit on the chair.he make her sit on his lap and said- my job is done.now u start urs.
Ishita- MATLAB.
Raman- matlab feed me ma'am.I have cooked it .now u feed us.he said kissing her.
She smiled and start feeding him.
Raman- umm,I made yummy upma.after all I am RKB the great.
Ishita- yes u r.my great rkb.she said kissing his temple.
After that they were busy in feeding each other.
Ishita- achcha Raman.agar main kabhi theek nahi hui toh.(if I never be alright).
Raman- then I will give u diet food only.
Ishita- diet food,why.
Raman- so that u can be in shape.after all I have to pick u in my arms.if u will gain weight,how I will pick u.he said smiling.
Ishita hit him with her elbow and said- I am not moti.
Raman- oh hello.u r moti,my moti madrasan.he said laughing hard.
Ishita- jao.I am not talking to u.raavan Kumar.
Raman- who raavan Kumar,me.I am handsome Kumar.and u r moti madrasan.
Ishita - shut up or I will make u shut up.
Raman- oh really,then do naa.waiting for u to do it.he said huskily pulling her closer.
They were dangerously close.looking at each other,they share an intense eyelock.
He cupped her face and said- make me quiet naa,I am waiting.
Ishita came closer and slammed her lips on him.he responded back kissing her with equal flavour.soon they broke in need of air.
He joined his forehead with hers and said- I love u jaan.
Ishita- love u more Raman.
