For the past one month, we all have been sick of this ridiculous track...but I have to give a shout-out to today'd episode. The amazing confrontation IshRa had, which btw, was a big surprised. I didn't think CVs had it in them to give it to us.
The confrontation was amazing.
Ishita asked everything we wanted her to ask. And she didn't back down.
- Why are you forcibly giving this child to me when I lost hope and knew I wouldn't become a mother again? Why with Shagun?
- This is a conspiracy, all thought of in prior. You got me to sign the papers, lied to me..you took everything from me..my trust...don't I have a say in my life's decision?
- All this came out today, if not, then how long were you going to hide it?
- You think I'm weak? I'm strong, one disappointment won't break me.
- You did all this for your own happiness
- You wanted to give me a child, without my consent? What are you, God?
- I didn't give consent so you would forcefully make me a mother?
- I'm a baanj and for the first time I feel it, because of you.
Raman is a complex character, always has been. He said exactly what we have been saying the day he agreed for surrogacy. His intentions were right, his method however, was completely and utterly wrong. He told her he isn't God, but he the husband who wanted to remove the baanj tag the world gave her, he wanted to give her, her own child..their child. Because he knew she is only pretending to be strong in front of everyone but he could see right through her eyes, that when the accident happened and they lost their child, she was the one who was most hurt, who was hurting the most. And he wanted to take the pain away, because he loves her. He was going to tell her but he wanted to wait till he could confirm there was no harm to their child.
We needed this. Needed this confrontation, needed one real moment from them...something realistic after all the crap and I'm glad we got it. We may not be happy with the track, but we can agree this was a much needed confrontation.
Last but not the least, DivAn. The epitome of chemistry, beauty and brilliance. They left me breathless. Their acting was impeccable. They live, breathe, sleep and eat Ishita and Raman. And this show wouldn't be anywhere or anything without them together as a unit leading the team. Kudos to them!
P.S. No way am I defending Raman's actions here. What he did was wrong and will remain to be so.

P.S.S.S.S You girls, thank you for making it bearable for me to watch the episodes everyday. You make the episodes even more eventful, especially the sucky ones.
