In 2015, they fully into a foolish typical male lead who can't function without the FL because that's the standard of television. Now they put the final nail in the coffin for drama and a triangle. They don't care that he provided a voice for men on TV (not a perfect one, but it was a start). They don't care that he shared the perspective of a father, husband, friend, brother, and son.

Because now all he is to viewers is stupid thanks to the 2015 child swap & surrogacy track. All of his goodness is wiped away for whatever the CVs try to accomplish and as someone who visits the internet for soap news - I will always be reminded of this fact if I try even keep up with the show.

Krishy, first of all I must thank you for putting everything I wanna say and is on my mind here in words.I totally agree with you.
With Adi, I could relate to him though I hated at times when he just stood by letting Ishita get insulted. I wanted to see a reunion too. Might I add I totally loved when Adi had hugged when he gave him the Christmas gift that he got for Ishita and their scene just before the mannat scene. even though Adi had been turned into a criminal of sorts then. We never got what we wanted but nothing can be done na.

but this new obsession I can't understand even if my life depended on it.

The problem is whatever SP and BT do, we will still watch until we are truly fed up. The decrease in TRP's will happen very slowly so they can do what they want.

I love RKB too re. He was flawed and relatable.. now he is a caricature but I still love him. And I am also mad at him for screwing up this bad. something he hasn't realized yet.
I want him to repent too but what he has done is beyond redemption. he has single handedly destroyed it all. everything he has ever wanted.

Please do not take offense to this. I mean it, truly. I am not being offensive. But if you can't take the track then stop watching and take turns to watch, so one person watches and recaps instead of everyone suffering through. They did it in one forum.

They show isn't going to stop and the actor won't revolt. DT got a show after six or seven years, Karan I do not know much but it's the same for him.. I believe it's his first show as a main lead and for most of the cast too. So we have no hopes of cast piping in a word. Because I don't remember really, but when I watched DEK and the online forums started revolting for a main lead change from Akash to UdayVeer and the producer and writer neglected the claims and even attacked fans on Twitter, the actor supported to an extent and we managed to get a lead change. It's not the same here. To an extent an actor should also be responsible of the content he/she is portraying. Not that they have much choice but to question the writers and provide inputs as a socially functioning human being.. That's there too. It's hard, but this show has lost humanity. A vast majority of the people who watch this show are either medical professionals, people suffering from the social causes once mentioned in the show or people interested in them. And when the show itself insults it's core concept, I don't know where this is heading..

Some one please recap today's episode for me, in a few lines. Please?

Anytime - I genuinely love Ishita and Raman both because that's what this show is for me, but I grew more attached to Raman & his complex emotions & roles that were initially laid out so well & so new for Indian TV. But since 2015 there is a somewhere a stigma attached to trying to understand his actions b/c of the nature of his discretions, & it's made harder by the CVs who don't let us be privy to his thoughts.

Both Ishita and Raman have been compromised for 7:30, but the degree and nature of the change is different.

With Adi, we saw a man torn between fatherhood and being a husband to someone, which he hadn't planned for - but he grew with the accident track so I let the degree of his discretions go because we saw him change his parenting style with Adi from then on.

This current obsession holds no rhyme or rhythm b/c they immediately jumped into it & it's something that is a delicate topic. Anything else & Raman acting irrational could've been dealt with...but this is something genuinely delicate and not meant to be a tamasha.
