Nope, not just bitterness. I've been dwindling on the same line of thought. YHM is no longer different from any other prime-time daily soap, whose only purpose is to keep running the show as long as possible, at all costs. No depth. No character building. Just random tracks.

The olden tracks led the story forward inch-by-inch, but if you remove any of the recent ones, story remains the same.
