Don't know where to say this or this post is apt for saying this or not.
But, I see many people always saying that to make Ishita right or not to make her wrong,, Raman is made wrong, or to glorify Ishita CVs made Raman wrong. But, I don't see such dialogues when Ishita does a mistake. They just keep bashing her. Where, the same logic can apply to Ishita doing mistakes.. "To make Raman right or not to make him wrong, Ishita is made wrong."
Why is it!!! Really, if a woman does a mistake, she is like a sinner, if a woman doesn't make mistake, she is a devi .. she is always at extreme positions in people's view.. Well, this is true in real life also in some cases.

Aani...You have managed to give a tight slap on the maker's face with your post!!! Superb!!!

I can completely understand how your feeling Aani!! 🤗 It's that feeling of being deceived by someone. It's that feeling of regret for investing so much of our time & energy in a show /its characters. It's like the makers have LET DOWN all their LOYAL FANS by throwing this track on their faces!!
I'm so so annoyed with this whole eff*** surrogacy track that I'm just not able to think about anything else since the time I have seen the promo!! 🤬 This track is simply yuck & disgusting!!

But I'm certain about one thing Aani and that this track will bring the downfall of YHM and this time even DIVAN won't be able to save the sinking ship!! They are playing with fire by introducing this track which is going against the whole base of this show!! And my gut feeling says that even the TRP aunties are not going to accept this track of surrogacy / hell Shagun's involvement in Ishra's baby! And now my belief is confirmed that the makers r going ahead with the surrogacy to bring the third angle in Ishra's love story otherwise what was the whole purpose of St Shagun's reformation. Now the whole track is clear...Shagun is the forcefully imposed third angle in ishra's love story. The day this surrogacy tracks unfolds that would be my last day of watching a show called 'Yeh Hain Mohabbatein'.
Thanks Aani... For giving us such a wonderful platform to rant our feelings coz honestly I feel there is no point left now in ranting on twitter or any other social networking site coz they just don't care about the audiences reactions / feelings. They are only concerned about the numbers and the numbers alone are the one who are going to teach them a lesson now!! That's my wish for YHM now, the show which I loved to the core.

I am not all surprised why Raman is being equated with Subbu!! No wonder Indian daily soaps are so regressive in the name of promoting soapy brand of feminism...

I would just like to say this - not everyone who is claiming that the CVs morphed Raman for drama puts Ishita out to dry when she makes a mistake. In fact I personally like her even more when she makes mistakes because she is relatable & human like during the Adi spying track.

Unfortunately everyone views the show through different lenses & different characters come under due or undue scrutiny. And similarly different characters are able to be defended/scrutinized in similar patterns always. The issue is the discrepancy in magnitude of the mistakes done by the leads, and it's hard to deny that there is a discrepancy in this in my POV.

I try to stay balanced, but this sudden surrogacy route from Raman does sting a little & seem unnatural.

With the time slot change, the reality is every character is morphed for drama - Raman into an idiot, Ishita into an almost super bahu, Shagun into black then white, Ruhi into a pushy kid, Rinki into a needy woman, Mrs. Bhalla into a regressive woman, etc, and the reality is that this will continue to deteriorate.

The method of storytelling always makes it Raman vs Ishita when they introduce high stakes tracks, but it sucks because we haven't even had a Ishita-Raman track. Now they are showing romance but with this undercurrent, which takes away from any enjoyment.

This time the blame doesn't fall on any characters for me but falls on the CVs poor method of storytelling. They rushed the pregnancy & they rushed the post-miscarriage scenes to get to here. It's an insult to the couple that lost a kid, it's an insult to the characters, it's an insult to viewers, & most importantly, it's an insult to real people with these issues.

No longer is YHM intentional or meaningful. It is merely a TV show that disregards the issues for drama. It may be more realistic & less obnoxious than other shows on air, but it is not better by too much. For many this is a reality we always compromise with when viewing.

when the surrogacy track news came out, I thought ishita would suggest it partly because she wants her own child and partly out of grief for her lost baby.so I was surprised that it was raman;s idea because he never seemed that desperate. so his character has been twisted to fit cv's mold.

I don't blame any charater either, just that writers have messed up royally AGAIN, there is not such thing as character's integrity anymore.

in addition, I do think cv's have a habit if turning ishita into a super hero or just a smartass, which makes it difficult for me to relate to her.

Hey dude,awesome post 😊
Agree with everything you said, except comparing Raman with subbu,
I noe Raman is wrong, but yeah just like ishita is not like shagun,
Raman Is not like subbu..
Having said that the thing that annoys the most is butchering done to Raman's character, they do it time and again, and with the latest spoilers, they are on mission kill RKB's charecter 😭
I seriously donno why are they doing this my heartbreaks,Raman is my favorite
character in the show, and he is not the same anymore 😭
P.S.I still don't think surrogacy will happen don't why,maybe I'm delusional!
P.P.S.ignore the typos

That's one of the problems in the pregnancy track. From the get go they seemed to make it baby #3 sirf Ruhi ke liye from Ishita's POV through a large chunk of the dialogs. And now you have Raman wanting a baby no matter the route.

This couple doesn't need a child because neither parent wants it for the right reason. The decision to have a child should've been because they wanted a symbol of their love & for Ishita to experience motherhood. But that isn't what was shown or is being shown.

Their consummation was all about babies & for what? I mean don't people have intimate relations as an expression of love & not just to have children?

Everything that could've been beautiful (and even with drama for TRPs) has been spoiled.
