YHM's brand of feminism is always irritating and from time to time, it is just completely offensive. It's got nothing to do with real feminism, in fact it demeans women and the people who preach feminism in real life.

What Ishita and her lady gang did today was completely offensive. It is in no way acceptable that you make your spouse do sit-ups holding his ears PUBLICLY just because they partied and came late!
If this disgusting scene was not enough, CVs made Ishita ordered her own father and father-in-law to do the same! W*F!! Is it a mature show that shows a woman ordering her father and FIL to do such humiliating things?

Don't tell me it was just a lighthearted scene...we women even in our dream can't think of a scene like that!

Ha ha... I understood yhm definition of feminism the day ishita tied rakhi to a molester 😆😉
Molester ko rakhi bandho ghar bulao n humiliate/ beat husband publicly!
Ishita ka "feminism " zindabad... 😆

I know many ppl who found both scenes cute n funny😛... So I won't blame cvs 😳

I was OK with the scene till the time Ishita did not order her father and FIL to do the sit-ups. That was outrightly disrespect.
This showed the CV's mentality that they only have one thing fixed in their mind that Female Leads can do anything and say anything.

Some people still enjoyed the scene because they think Ishita is right no matter what which in turn gives CVs the courage to make it look like what Ishita does is always right no matter what! 😉 🤣

I'm playing the devil's advocate here 😆, if I may😳

Firstly the uthhak baithak happened in the Bhalla house in front of the Iyer-Bhalla family members only.

Yes it was OTT...especially the part where Ishita asks her Appa to do Utthak Baithak...that was totally unacceptable...but I thought, Bhalla ji was asked by Mrs Bhalla, not Ishita though. I may be wrong

Another thing ...YHM breaks logic /reason to create comedy or melodrama all the time...like in today's episode, how something as personal as fertility treatment of a couple is common knowledge to all and the doctor is sharing/talking about confidential patient information with his room mate and dropping the patient file everywhere in sight for everyone, to notice...Does it make sense? No.

So yes...YHM writing leaves a lot of gaps...not only with the brand of feminism but also with logic/reason..and I also agree it's irritating and offensive sometimes...it's what we, as audience, choose to take with a grain of salt that makes the watch bearable. For me I would take Appa's utthak baithak for mindless comedy over forceful addition of canonized version of Shagun in Ishra's fertility track any day. ..But then ultimately we'll only get what the CVs serve us.

No offense meant, just wanted to share my perspective.😳

Forcing elder people and that too your parents to do sit ups were cringe-worthy. At least they didn't do it in front of Ruhi and Adi but the scene was disgusting nonetheless. I always support Ishita but can't do it this time.
