Awesome post Shalz!

Personally am conflicted about the leap - a small FF maybe ok if they want to tie up loose ends like the AsMi divorce or Sarika-Romi angle (heck that may even help Vandu deliver her baby finally!) but the spoilers are the reason for all the positivity being sapped away.. One day it's a 10 yr leap, illness the next, then the main one - IshBu/Sharam - I want to believe this will not happen since, as you rightly point out, YHM has strived to be different but am no soap expert..

The current track (so far) post the Subbu exit(?!) has an old yhm feel with the characters each having their flaws while still being real and relatable. Definitely worth watching. And you are right, we should not be giving up so easily based on speculation. I enjoy yhm more due to all the gushing, analysis and discussions on IF and I hope we can get those times back.

PS: Prof. Shalz, your students must be so lucky having you to motivate them 😆

Shalini bang on post and I agree with you 100%. Our efforts will not go unheard. I made a twitter account just so I can spam starplus and all parties involved. I will delete it once we get a a official confirmation as I am not a fan of twitter. You know I think the leap has taken a toll on the excitement that we once use to have and it clouding judgement on the current track.

If we for a few seconds forget that there is no leap going to happen, then the current Adi track is great because it is so realistic. Every character involved is in character. I love watching Divan play parents because of how natural they are. The adi track has no character in wrong because every emotion is right in their own place. Ishita as a mother wanting her child to stay on the right path, raman as father being the moderator between mother and child, and last Adi, the teenager who dealing with peer pressure.

This track is quite beautiful done and I am surprised their isn't much discussions going on the current track. Also we get meaningful Ishra scenes like how a real life couple deals with their surroundings and how parents deal with their teenager.

The upcoming consummation track is what we are waiting for and I hope everyone can forget about the leap for the sequence and enjoy it.

when show will hit leap then leave it but atleast till then enjoy what they are showing if its worth...Episodes are going good now a days with no OTT drama very YHM like...

TV shows are for entertainment...lets enjoy that instead of thinking about future and that horrible and hyped spoilers...

We are doing efforts may be that will help us...

Thank you Shalz for the wonderful post and give us apportunity to share our taught. For me YHM From the beginning is the unique story and have different concept that we want to watch and know how they will show us. It show us beutiful relationship and taught us life still have second chance and don't give up.it totally different from other Indian drama that I had watch and beside I am not and Indian at all IshRa and Ruhi bonding in unique way the concept and how they deal with the ploblem from begining made me hook on it. And not only IssRaRu all the cast in this team they play their roll in each character so well.i know time will change the new development and story line will come up. But for now I just enjoy IshRaTpRu plus Adi for now and they had complete family and bonding so well with some adjustment in their family life. This is the show we want to see in the present time. I will watch and enjoy YHM That they show us till the leap come and I might stop watching the show . YHM mean IshRa&DiVan Ruhi and Adi for me. I don't want the leap and I don't want them to separate forever.i am grateful to all our friends who work so hard day and night to save our show not to take leap. So we stay unit together and enjoy the show till it has Ishra young Ruhi and teenager ADi. Love you. Shalz😊

GrEat post shalz but really mujhe Aaaj kal thoda bore oh raha hain YHM maybe it's the story line and me being busy...

The cvs have made a joke out of us viewers yaar we are spending our valuable 30 minutes on the idiot box to watch a show... We almost relate to it ... And seeing it go down the hill like this is very sad yaar... We watch try to unwind ourselves from the stress of our lives.. But if the same gives us more stress what should we do?????

But frankly iloved your post and will try watching the show some more just for your dearieee

The present track is not at all boring. In fact it shows the level of scope YHM has. There is so much to the story other than a leap. Ishita n Raman as parents to teenage Adi, ishita n raman as parents to ruhi, ishita n raman as a couple, ishita n raman as parents to their new born - ishita's pregnancy issues, how they win at every stage. M sure EK has the power to keep up the masala alive even after showing mature tracks. None of the mature tracks till now have ever been boring.

I hope they do realise the potential they can explore without going in for a leap.

About the big C I m looking forward to watching it. Karan n Divyanka have given us some intense scenes in the recent past. Hope the big C goes a notch higher. Too much expectations are tagged along with it. Lets lower down our expectations and wait fr it to air.

I guess the negative things have quick & intense effect than the positive ones...Even though we are enjoying the episodes there is some apprehensiveness in the back of the mind...

So Shalz - Thank you for this reminder...

We are all worried about something which we can't change and ignoring what is right in-front of our eyes...

Post Subbu , Iam truly enjoying the episodes...Every character is in their element and the script is tight...So what else do we need...

When it stops going our way , then we can always comeback and crib again...

So all the ladies ,who write beautifully ...please bring it on...We are all ready to gush...😳

Very Well Said dear... i completely agree though it's tough for me to completely forgot about those horrible spoiler and enjoy the show but yes when I watch the Epi after reading LU nowadays ... they are not bad they are decent and close to reality ... it's very realistic to see growing up teenage thought process and there parents dealing with there children New thinking its Very interesting to see how ishra handle this situation... and how in all this ishu Adi relation progress...

And yes we should continue our protest against the leap and sharam ishbu pairing... Be positive ...

Hi KKT, (you know what I mean !😛), I am sorry that my blues and my gloom these past couple of days incited you to open this thread !

I have been an obsessed YHM fan... watched it from the episode in which Ruhi addressed Ishita as Ishita Mamma and I was intrigued... and then decided to watch it from the first episode and I was a goner ! I became so obsessed with the show that I used to keep awake until 1.00 just to watch the repeat and then rewatch the repeats on the weekends !

I have put up with all BS that they threw at us, because I loved loved loved IshRaRu and now Adi is in the mix !

I could have taken everything but the re-coupling of ShaRam... if you recollect our very initial conversation when we introduced ourselves, and if you remember what I told you guys, you will know why I was so affected by this spoiler !

Rooting for ShaRam and calling them the perfectly imperfect couple is all fine and could be done cause of the utter hatred for Ishita... but it is very difficult to understand what it does to the dynamics of the family when one spouse cheats on the other ... what effect it has on the family and the child/ren... it is only when someone experiences it, they realize how extremely difficult it is to cope with that kind of a family situation ...

Believe you me Shalz, I tried to get over the spoiler, but couldn't. It touched a nerve !

Hopefully, there will be something that will lure me back to watching YHM, until then ... I will try not to be gloomy around you guys ! I promise !😛
