Along the Mani track I realised that I had no say in this show or how the writers pen it. The characters were butchered left, right and center and honestly, we can do nothing about it. Let's be real here, unlike other forums that's 'brought' the change, we are hardly fifty people here or so I guess considering the decline in forum strength.
And frankly, no one cares anymore because let's be honest - the show saw it's end ages ago. There's nothing left to be saved. Nothing. We have wasted 1.5 years, let's not waste any more time. We honestly don't matter, let's not pretend we do. I'm not moral policing or anything, just stating facts.
And here's the conversation I had with my very British best friend about the leap and everyone going crazy about it.
And that, my friends, is saying something. 😆
Fingers crossed for the leap. I, for one, love second chance romances, let's see how the CV's drag this. Still not following it.
Btw, Australia for Ekta is Kdrama ka America. Any crisis then run away to the only place on the planet other than where you live - Australia. Yaay, Ekta.
Months ago. I tweeted Ekta stating something similar: YHM is (read:was) an ode to motherhood - the late night show known for voicing out social stigmas and speaking about social causes like molestation, infertility, divorce and remarriage. YHM started out with the concept of 'adopted' motherhood with Ishita and Ruhi. How about single motherhood with Simmi and Shagun?
Now, I frankly don't care. And that is saying something because there was a time I was obsessed with the show. Even borderline flunking papers to marathon the nine months or so of the show I missed or couldn't remember. And then Mani happened.
Ekta and the team,
Thank you for ruining such a beautiful show for me. I can finally focus on what really matters.
